We had a lovely stay. Great location. Little grocery store on the same street. Pelican Brewery also. Spacious and loved the available games and gaming systems! We had a blast! Aged from 9-60.

Location was convenient to the beach, shops and eateries and met our needs for a large group of 11 people. House was very clean. Having washer & dryer available was nice especially with kids. The kitchen was functional and good sized. Price was very reasonable and communication with host was great.

This unit fit all of our needs regarding location, cleanliness, and amenities. I would 100% recommend this property to my friends and family and will revisit this if I'm in town in the future!

I was a little disappointed that there was no dishwasher, I should have checked that. It is a great place for kids and they enjoyed the video game systems.

Cynthia, so sorry about the mis match on the kitchen set up. We try to be very clear about not having a dishwasher. We'll try to highlight that more to make it easier to find that information.

Nice little get away

House was as described and fit our two families comfortably. Only issue was with the pellet stove wouldn’t stay lit. Close to food and activiteies.

Rockaway hideaway

We cannot rave about this property enough. Great location in town. Spacious and furnished for fun and relaxation. Ample parking and friendly neighbors. A wonderful view and affordable for most any vacation budget. We are already planning next years stay! Thank you Pirate Cove! You are a true treasure on the coast!

8th Grade Graduation Beach Trip

The house was great for 2 adults and 8 kids. There were beds for everyone. The living area was big. We could walk to everything.

Family beach getaway

We rented this property for a few days for friends and family. It is in a perfect location to beach and shops and close to other attractions in nearby towns along the coast. Plenty of space and the pirates cove theme was a fun addition. Kitchen is adequate size and it was fun to watch vhs movies. Only downside perhaps is no dishwasher so plan ahead with paper plates.

Fantastic beautiful home!

The house was beautiful and spacious! We had 11 people staying there and there was plenty of room for us all plus more if you wanted! The walk to the beach was not bad at all and there was plenty to do and see for our whole trip! The owners are amazing people who answer any questions and communicate very well with the tenants. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home and being awesome people to rent from!!

Family Vacation

Property location is amazing - an enjoyable 6 block walk to the beach. We had deer visit the site each day. The house is older and could use updating but met all our needs. Everything worked well and was clean. Communication was excellent with the host. Having the space for 9 family was perfect for us. We would rent again.

The house was so cute and well themed. It was well stocked with any kitchen necessities and had plenty of extra trash bags. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again for our very large group of 12! Its a 10 minute walk to the beach if youre walking slow with kids like we were, but its a straigh shot! There are also movies, puzzles, and boardgames that made the evenings perfect! Lots of cute shops near by and some fun day trips near by as well! We had a great time!

Comfortable and Older Home

Positives: Excellent location to town and beach, Roomy, Lots of Movies and games for the family, comfortable living room furniture, Roomy Bunk room was appreciated. Negatives: House needed thorough cleaning, House needed better maintenance as front door stuck, window blinds couldn't close, curtains were wonky, mattresses were lumpy. Bunk room was stuffy and dark.

Great for pet owners

It's located in a good spot for shopping and walking to the beach. I would just say if you don't have or own any pets wouldn't recommend. Unless you don't mind the smell of dogs Asoon ad you walk in the door there's a strong smell . Also host are good people. But the people that clean did leave a vape and empty beer cans on bunks .

Pirates Cove

Walking in the house, it was clean, maintained and exactly what the pictures portrayed. The space is family and pet friendly and everyone had there own space to get “away” and rest when they needed, which can be tough when there’s 5 kids but the space/set up made so that kids could rest when they needed it. The house had all the kitchen supplies/utensils we needed, the living room had plenty of seating as well. We walked to the beach daily, multiple times safely and it’s basically 3 blocks away from the beach. The bathrooms were well equipped and had plenty of hot water for our crew.

We had a wonderful stay at this pet friendly gem at Rockaway Beach! It is absolutely close to everything, and my large family had a blast! There is a great selection of games and old VHS tapes. The house is large, clean, and well equipped with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the 3 bathrooms made everything easy. Just minutes from the beach. We will definitely be back!
