Beautiful & idyllic! An amazing first time experience on Orcas for my hubby and mom. Would love to return someday! Most adorable puppy too, we had a blast playing catch!

We had a lovely time at this place. The views are beautiful from any room and the house is well stocked. The hot tub at the end of the hike was so fun. Meg and Bob are super friendly and communicative during the booking process.

We loved staying here! The property was cute and convenient to town, the hosts were responsive and generous, and Orcas Island is truly a magical place to stay.

Nice stay

We loved the beautifulview, the friendly dogs that enhanced the visit for our dog, the huge yard and nice hot tub. Overall a giid visit.

Perfect place to stay for a friend's reunion

Had a wonderful stay at Maggie's with my two friends. The place was HUGE and very comfortable. View was amazing too, and watching the seals frolic in the bay was a highlight.

Beautiful property on orcas!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely and very spacious. Hot tub overlooking the water was a treat! We'd definitely stay again.

The location and view were amazing. Hosts made us feel very welcome and even had the lights turned on for us because we were arriving late. Communication was great. Price point and no cleaning fee were good. My kids loved the dogs but they did poop around the property and surprised us the first day. The lower scores are because of the condition of the property and some misinformation on the listing. The photos are very dated. The hot tub was full of debris and cracked in the corner. The method of chlorination (adding Clorox bleach) is not ideal for stable chl levels. We never used it. Patiio near hot tub is cracked and one of my kids rolled his ankle on a loose chunk. No smoke detectors, except for one in the hallway between lower bedrooms (not sure of upstairs since we didnt rent that part). Only soap (no shampoo), which is fine, but property listed shampoo. Only the 2 smaller burners on the stove top worked. Freezer is probably on its way out. Otter pops never froze after 2 full days in freezer (setting near coolest temp). There is a ton of rat poop in front of the washer. The 2 twin beds were comfortable, according to our boys, but the downstairs queen was exceptionally firm and we typically like firm mattresses, but it was really firm. Bathroom floor had squishy parts which is a bit disconcerting. The price is low for the area, which is appreciated, given the quirks. But it would be best for the description to match the condiiton and some repairs and updates made.

Quaint home in a Beautiful setting

I recommend this home if you love a house overlooking the harbor, mountains, with a property to explore. It’s an older home with charm and nice amenities such as a modern kitchen, heat, a hot tub witnessing the stars. We are grateful to have been able to stay here

Great location

We had an amazing time staying in Deer Harbor. The location was wonderful. The house could definitely use some maintenance and some kitchen items. With that said, if you can look past the minor inconveniences this place is a great place to stay.

Quintessential Orcas Island retreat

This sweet, 1930s home is easy to settle into, and sets the stage for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The view of Deer Harbor from the living room and bedroom is spectacular. The hosts are thoughtful and generous in welcoming guests to explore their 100+ acre property. You’ll never want to leave!

Oldie but a goodie!

Wonderful stay at what felt like home away from home. The views were great, the location perfect and the home felt like Grandma's where you just feel right at home. Thanks for sharing this amazing space with us. We can't wait to come back.

Work trip

The house was in a great location in proximity to Turtleback hiking areas. The view was great from the house and when we had a minor issue with the heat, the owners were extremely quick to respond to us and have it fixed. Overall it was a great stay.

Great getaway with gorgeous views!

Very old house with a very modern large kitchen. Idyllic setting with amazing views! Great place to reconnect with nature and recharge. Enjoyed the birdwatching and watching the wildlife-and the 2 very friendly dogs that came to visit!

Kayak trip

We had a great time. We were able to unload at the marina next door, by asking permission from Nick. The house was a great for four adults. We cooked all our meals there, played games and sat in the hot tub. Great location with wonderful views. The dogs were fun too.
