Thank you for looking! This is the perfect couple's getaway. Stroll among the stately Garry Oaks and old-growth Douglas Firs on our 5-acre property or relax in the outdoor hot tub while admiring the spectacular views of Mt. Constitution and Mt. Baker. Enjoy meadow wildflowers in the Spring, turning leaves in the Fall, or bask on the deck in the warm Summer climate of the San Juans. Whale-watching by Lime Kiln Lighthouse or long walks on South Beach are minutes away by car. We hope you fall in love with the Island just as we have. This is our second time at Rhubarb and it was just as delightful as our first stay! Beautifully decorated, clean and gorgeous property! Host is easy to communicate with and very accommodating!

My husband and I have stayed here several times and it has been amazing every time! The property is really awesome, the house is so cute and cozy and has everything you need, and the property manager is great. Bonus points for the hot tub that you can enjoy the stars from at night! We look first to our next stay.

Super cozy, clean, with a very comfortable bed, everything 1 or 2 people could need for a super relaxing getaway!Loved the hot tub, and the convenience of having a washer and dryer, while being minutes from virtually everything from Friday Harbor to numerous beaches.The generously sized property is absolutely, incredibly beautiful and peaceful with the ancient oaks, rolling hills and remnants from the last glacial activity ages ago. The quiet at night and the trees and the star-filled sky were enchanting. Thank you for the most relaxing and restorative vacation ever!

Wow, this property exceeded our expectations, even at the top of our price range. Totally clean, completely private, wonderful surroundings. Our son lives on San Juan Island so it was great to see him. Now we've got a place to stay everytime we arrive!

We love staying at the Rhubarb House off-season. It's still wet and not much is blooming, but days are longer and temperatures milder. It's so serene to have the while property to ourselves. John is doing a super job as manager, and we like the ongoing improvements to the Studio.

We had a lovely time. The hot tub was great and the little house had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the property. The hidden swing was a gem!

Very peaceful stay

We needed to get away from work and this cottage was perfect, very peaceful and enjoyed the beautiful landscaped property as well as the hot tub. Definitely will be staying again!

Very clean and cozy studio cottage. Had everything we needed. Conveniently located just out of town, but close enough to drive to daily. Easy drive to other must visit spots on the island.We would come back in a heartbeat!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay over the weekend, coming to the island for a friend's wedding. Everything was simple and easy, from the check in process to the use of amenities. Sitting under the stars in the hot tub was a highlight!

Relaxing stay

Island countryside

This was the perfect spot on San Juan island. We enjoyed that it was a little tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Friday Harbor but still so close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Exactly what we hoped for!

The property was exactly what we hoped for. It was quiet, clean, and there was a big yard for our dog to sniff around in. The property is only 15 minutes from town which is perfect to get away from all the summer activity at the end of a long day. I would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful stay

This was a great place, nice property, close to Friday harbor but far enough away to make you feel like you are a little off the grid. Hot tub was super relaxing! Would be fun to go with a bigger group and rent the whole property!
