Lovely Waterfront Suite near Portsmouth

Lovely private entrance suite on the bay, a beautiful living room with a fireplace, for winter use. An igloo outside on the deck from November till May, complete with an electric heating fireplace. So cozy and charming. A very large bedroom with king size bed and a view of the bay, a fabulous bathroom and double shower. A private patio with great lighting under the pergola. This year we have added an outdoor kitchen. You’ll have an area under a roof to cook and sit having a meal. Kitchen is open for summer till late fall. Plus unit comes complete with great internet, coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge, and microwave.You will be delighted to find home made breakfast treats upon your arrival. Only minutes to Portsmouth, University of New Hampshire, Kittery Maine and the outlet shopping. NH and Maine beaches. Enjoy the outdoor hot shower and use of kayaks. I would be happy to help you plan your getaway if you need, I've lived here 40 + years and know the area well. Whether your in town for business, attending a wedding or visiting your child at UNH. this surely beats a stay in a hotel. Thanks for looking.

Andra is a lovely, attentive host. The suite adjoining her home is really lovely - the view of the bay is beautiful. It’s also a great location. Would stay again if we plan to return to the area.

This was an absolute treasure of a place and the goat was wonderful. My wife and I stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every part of the stay. The outdoor little kitchen was a wonderful addition but the view from the deck is where we spent most of our time. The host provided snacks upon arrival and has almost everything you need to just come and relax.

We had a lovely time at this rental for a girls' weekend. Communication from the host was very clear and helpful, making check-in and departure a breeze.Snacks and breakfast treats welcomed us in. A toaster oven, microwave, and well-stocked covered outdoor grill area complement the fridge (stocked with drinks upon arrival!)Morning coffee (coffee and creamer provided) overlooking the water was a great start to a day of exploring and thrift shopping from a convenient "home base."The bathroom is spacious, with essentials provided and plenty of fresh towels. The bedroom has a water view and the comfortable bed was welcoming after a long day. The area was very quiet at night, allowing us to recharge! We had a short stay, so didn't get a chance to use the kayaks, but what a great perk!

Property appropriate for a couple. Although required kitchen equipment was available preparing meals in the rental was a bit disjointed. Did not use outdoor kitchen so can not rate it. Lighting in the 1sr floor living area was limited. The TV/streaming available, although plenty of options to please all, was limited to the bedroom upstairs only. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable as was the ensuite bathroom. Special treat was the refrigerator stocked with numerous drink options and condiments, along with snacks and even home made muffins. Outdoor kitchen and deck overlooking Great Bay were very nice and deck furniture was comfortable. Location is fantastic with easy access to area highways, downtown Dover and Portsmouth, NH and southern Maine coastal locations and numerous nearby hiking opportunities. Hostess Andra was very helpful and friendly.

Andra was an exceptional host! The premises was beautiful, inviting and homey. Little touches go a long way. Bed was comfy, bathroom was great for 2! Can't wait to go back and enjoy the outside patio & fireplace when weather is warmer! Thank you!

The host left clear instructions and delicious muffins! We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed the view in the igloo as well as the double shower and comfortable bed. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful overnight stay and enjoyed such a relaxing, quiet evening. The waterfront view was beautiful and peaceful, and the cozy igloo with the fireplace made the experience feel extra special. The area was very private, clean, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The house itself was spotless and inviting, and the host was excellent with communication, making check-in smooth and easy. Overall, a perfect place to unwind and recharge. We would gladly stay again!

Absolutely loved staying here! Andra has thought of everything and gone the extra mile with delicious home baked pastries and a nicely stocked refrigerator with condiments and an assortment of drinks. Wish we could have stayed longer.
