Longhollow Cottage-Right on the water w/private boat dock and screened in porch

Long Hollow Cottage is a charming, family-friendly lakefront property that sleeps 10 comfortably. It is an original lake house with wood floors, wood ceiling beams and oak paneling throughout that has been lovingly restored and furnished with modern conveniences. The main cabin features a cozy living room. Master bedroom with a king size bed and renovated master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, large windows with water views and an ensuite bathroom. The family room has a comfortable seating area and a farm table that seats 10. The large screened porch overlooks the lake and has a seating area and outdoor dining table. The main cabin also has a well appointed kitchen and board game room with reading nook.

A separate guest house is steps away and has a large bedroom that sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a twin day bed with trundle, cute sitting room and full bathroom. A separate laundry room is located in an outbuilding beside the outdoor patio.

A very short, easy, walk takes you to the lake shore and large covered dock with single boat slip and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the open water views. The large bay provides a protected area for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Keith Bridge Park is within short walking distance and offers a boat ramp, parking, sandy beach, swimming area, walking trails, picnic areas with grills and a small playground.

Long Hollow Cottage offers everything you are looking for in a vacation rental--a vintage lake cabin, some low ceilings as you transition from one level to the next, yet has many modern conveniences, a peaceful setting where you can relax, and miles of lake to explore and enjoy water activities. Quaint lake property

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The main attraction (besides being on the lake) was its excellent screened-in porch. Highly recommend.

Had a great time. Docked right on the lake. Loved the lake view. Parking is a bit challenging but we made it work.

Cozy and relaxing getaway

Comfortable, serene home with a pretty view. Perfect setting for Thanksgiving week with our family of four. Very clean and charming with just the right amount of rustic. Cozy but plenty of space. A couple of downsides: the steep, gravel driveway was difficult to maneuver. Also, walking on the steep driveway and the stone patio/courtyard (which is awesome, btw) would be very challenging for anyone with mobility issues, due to steps and unevenness in some spots. Overall, we really enjoyed our time!

Cute Lake Cottage

The Lanier Lake Cottage was wonderful. Very cute and rustic, but still had all of the necessary amenities. Lake access is super easy and the dock was really nice. The driveway was a bit of a challenge but it is manageable.

Fit Our Family Group Well

Place was exactly as advertised. Good spot on the lake with easy access down to the water. Home offered a lot of space - was clean - & had a great lake cabin type feel. Several outdoor gathering spaces that were nice as well. We've stayed around Lake Lanier prior but will definitely be back here without question.

Happy Vacation

We all enjoyed our visit. It was a very pleasant experience. We wish there were a hand-grip in the shower; the floor was slippery. There should be a mention of the remote for the air-conditioner in the cabin, as it was found in the bedroom and not there by the air-conditioner.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Longhollow cottages. It had plenty of room and the screened in porch was perfect for eating meals and just hanging out. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and playing on the beach. I would highly recommend this property for families.

Almost Perfect

The place was great for our group with three bedrooms plus a cottage outside as well. The porch made opening up the area very comfortable. The centralized spot on the Lake was perfect for us to take the club’s boat out everyday and explore a new area. The only reason my review isn’t perfect is because of the driveway. It is steep, gravely, difficult to maneuver because of the trees, and sometimes difficult to climb without spinning your tires. As much we loved everything else about the place (right down to the firepit wood being laid out sequentially for a perfect fire), every single driver had a problem with navigating the driveway every time they had to drive on it.

Delightful and relaxing

The property was perfect for a relaxed family gathering. The sleeping spaces were excellent and very cozy. Our 12 year old granddaughters enjoyed the freedom of space and surrounding nature activities. Perfect fall weather and scenery were welcomed. The cottage was amply supplied and the secluded area was very private. We would return to this place I. The summer as well.

The cabin was exactly what we wanted.

The guest house was perfect for the 1yr old and his parents, the dock is in a calm cove. The dock is also pretty new which is nice. Easy walk down. The cabin has so much character. We will be back for sure.

Perfect family spot

We had a great time here. We joined our grown kids and grandkids and it was a wonderful time. The boat ramp is close and the dock is covered so we enjoyed leaving the boat in the water. The walk down to the dock is not steep at all and the dock is deep enough for swimming. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out. The view is amazing. Loved it!
