Nice and cosy! boat in the Central area.

It is an absolutely NON smoking and NON party place.
After 22.00 no loud music.

From Central station it is 10 min by bus № 22, or 20 min by tram № 14 through the city centre main squares.
Short walking/cycling distance from most of the city's main attractions.
The central Dam square and old city centre is 20 minutes by foot.
It is a 5 minutes to walk to the Tropical museum,
Dapper market with a lot of restaurants and small cosy shops,
supermarket Albert Hijn is 5 min by foot on Java street.

It is a small part of the boat with the owners next door.

The boat has:
-living room with a two couches, sleeping double sofa and TV
-wifi internet connection
-bedroom with double bed(bedspread provided), wardrobe
-bathroom with shower (towels and soap provided)
-in the kitchen there are all the cooking facilities you need including pans, plates, cutlery, cups, tea and coffee

-Smoking is NOT allowed on the boat, but you can do it outside.

We were pleased with the location. Easy walk to the centre of Amsterdam. Restaurants and parks nearby. Clean and had what we needed.

Perfect location for our family of four. Two minute walk to tram. Three minute walk to the bus stop. Both the sofa bed and queen size bed are very comfortable. Kitchen area is small but sufficient for prepping and cooking meals. Canal boat traffic is very quiet and a unique way to observe the charm of Amsterdam right outside our window. Would definitely recommend staying here to enjoy the sights, yet stay in a quieter neighborhood. Extremely close to variety of restaurants and a major grocery store!

The host met us at check in with ample details. The stay was very clean and the host communicated well. We used the kitchen near daily for breakfast and did a load of laundry. Very convenient to the tram. We got multi- day passes which we made great use of. Plenty of eateries nearby and a couple of markets.

Staying in the houseboat was an excellent experience. The place was very comfortable and we found the location to be perfect. The host provided helpful information for local trams.We would definitely love to stay here again if we travel back to Amsterdam.

Amazing experience, so glad we chose thia over a hotel room. Small but ultra-efficient use of space, and we had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. Had a very enjoyable stay, with swans coming to our window every day. Responsive and friendly host.

Very nice

The houseboat was the best experience for my family. It was close to transport and groceries. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We even got to sit in the back porch that faced the canal.

Lovely spot on the canal

We enjoyed our stay on the houseboat. While small, it had everything we needed and was close to tram and bus stops while being away from the touristy areas. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Thank you.

a slice of Amsterdam

This was a lovely stay - we arrived and were greeted by swans at the window. It felt like we were part of the community - It was quiet yet close to - public transportation. The place was clean and well equipped - I was traveling with my adult boys and it was great for a first peak at the lovely Amsterdm.

Magical Spot

Nice, convenient location with places to eat and drink right down the street. Easy access to trams and 20 minutes to museums or the red lights district. Big window out to the canal! Ducks and swans visited every morning. I definitely recommend this little houseboat.

Great Amsterdam Experience

Our stay was wonderful. Nice to get away from the business of the city center and not be too far away. The house boat is a great way to experience Amsterdam with kids. It has everything you need to be comfortable and stores, restaurants are conveniently close. Hostess was responsive and fun to meet! Thank you!!

Beautiful home, responsive host

We had a great stay in this lovely houseboat! It was as described! Peter and Nina were gracious, friendly, and communicative hosts. It was super easy to get around with public transportation, and it was so fun to stay on a house boat! It did seem the description said twin beds in the front room, when in fact it was a pullout couch queen bed, but that was easy enough for us to navigate in our group.
