Such a wonderful stay and host! A warm and cozy location with the best hosts!! Klaas reached out to us as soon as we booked to welcome us and tell us how to connect with him as we move planned our trip. He then reached out to us a few days before we travelled to check with us on breakfast options for which there were plenty. It was a beautiful breakfast served daily. Day of he helped make reservations for us in the quaintest restaurant with wonderful food within a leisurely stroll from the B&B. Marriana made us a wonderful breakfast every morning and made sure we were well cared for. They also helped us navigate the bus system and made great recommendations for local visits. Truly we feel as we have made new friends and will recommend them to anyone traveling to the area.

The location in the historic, picturesque village of Broek in Waterland is unbeatable—surrounded by quiet canals and traditional Dutch houses, yet only a short walk to the local bus stop with fast, direct connections straight into central Amsterdam.The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Waking up to a fresh, delicious breakfast and having access to a peaceful garden made the experience extra special. Klaas was a warm, welcoming, and attentive host who made us feel right at home.It was the ideal retreat to escape the bustle of the city and return to quiet nature. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!Good luck with the filter drain Klaas!

We've stayed in B & Bs all over the world, but this has to be one of the top we've ever visited. The cottage was spotless, the gardens lovely, the location ideal (quaint and peaceful yet very easy access to Amsterdam) and the hosts, Klaas and Marianna, were as good as they come - friendly, responsive, excellent communicators, and just wonderful people. Highly recommend!

My goodness, what an incredible stay we had at Klaas and Marianna's Bed and Breakfast just outside of Amsterdam! We were blown away by their kindness, generosity and outstanding hospitality! Staying here was truly a highlight of our honeymoon vacation and we would return in a heartbeat. The peace it brought us at the end of every day was so valuable, as we explored the busy city of Amsterdam and surrounding areas. It truly was our pleasure to stay in their beautiful home and we couldn’t be more grateful for the ways in which they went out of their way to help us!!The daily breakfast was delicious and so fresh, the city is only one bus ride away and accessible with any tap credit card and the tranquil village of Broek in Waterland will bring a sense of relief at the end of busy travel days! It would be a treat to stay here again and we couldn’t recommend it more! Tyler Sam

Beautiful B&B

We had the best stay at the B&B in Broek. The village was so charming, a lovely place to come and relax after a day in the city. The property was beautiful and the hosts are very hospitable, happy to help with anything we needed. We would love to come back!

Lovely accommodations close to bus route. The village and the residents we met were welcoming. Klaas and Marianna are gracious hosts and made our arrival easy through detailed check-in steps and directions. The included breakfast set us off on the right foot as we headed into the city central area. Fully recommend.

Broek in Waterland is a not to miss destination

Wonderful and clean garden cottage in the old part of the village . Host is very detail oriented and the breakfast especially was simply amazing 5 star all the way ! 😊

A lovely place to stay. Peaceful but very easy to access Amsterdam. Klaas was very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the garden was beautiful. We hope to be back.

We spent five months at Bed in Broek in April. Klaas was a great communicator and was attentive to our dietary needs. The studio is cozy and sits in a lovely garden. We had fresh made breakfast each day that was tasty and nutritious. Our hosts were attentive to and accommodated our special dietary needs. The bed and breakfast was more delightful and quaint than what the pictures show. The town of Broek is a clean and quiet oasis just a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam’s Centraal Station. We were able to enjoy quiet nights away from the bustle of the city. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

This wonderful retreat is perfect for a couple get away. We loved the setting of the beautiful garden and the charming accommodations. Everything was comfortable, clean and inviting. The hosts were very welcoming, engaging, and responsive. Breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and served promptly. The quiet village is postcard picturesque. It was a perfect retreat and an excellent location for our visit to the Netherlands.

Charming and Restful

Klaas and Marianne were wonderful hosts. Village was charming. Bus to Amsterdam was reliable and nearb. A great way to spend the last week of our vacation.we'll be back!

Fantastic 4 days in Broek in Waterlands - perfect stay

Great in so many ways, perfect location beautiful village, easy to explore area and get in and out of Amsterdam. Wonderful helpful friendly hosts. Cosy and comfortable home, great breakfast and lots of extra treats. Highly recommend

Great place

The space is comfortable. The hosts are very responsive. The garden is a relaxing place to sit. A short bus ride and train ride gets you into the central city. I definitely recommend this place for a peaceful stay.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this B&B in Broek in Waterland. The little cottage was very clean and well- equipped and the King-size bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. The garden and outdoor sitting area were gorgeous: beautiful spring flowers and so many birds. Our hosts, Marianne and Klaas were very warm and welcoming. They were very helpful in suggesting the best bike and transit routes to explore in Amsterdam and the countryside. Broek in Waterland is such a picturesque village with beautifully restored houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. After a day in busy, noisy Amsterdam, it was heavenly to return to the peace and serenity of this town. We hope we will return one day!

Such a fabulous stay

The beautifully decorated cottage is small but perfect for two people. And the gardens are beautiful with a lovely seating to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine at the end of the evening. Klaas and Marianne are the best hosts ever. So attentive to every detail from a welcome drink to an exceptional breakfast each morning. The space had every need looked after including travel books, coffee, all the kitchen needs, fully stocked bathroom. It was truly a lovely stay!

Everything was wonderful! Great shower. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was perfect. I would love to visit again! Beautiful little village. Bus stop was a nice little walk from the property. Great access to Amsterdam. Host is very friendly and helpful. Great communication. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in Broek in Waterland

This bed and breakfast is exactly what my partner and I needed — it was the perfect getaway while still being conveniently close to the city. Klaas and Marianna are lovely and accommodating hosts, with easy communication. The breakfast alone is worth staying for. The property itself is in very good condition and exactly how it looks in the photos. A very good and comfortable stay, I already look forward to coming back!

Incredible hospitality

Klaas and Marianna were the most wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Broek in Waterland is a beautiful oasis away from the busyness of Amsterdam. The little details (eg delicious breakky in the garden) made all the difference!

The village is delightful and a wonderful and peaceful antidote to the bustle of Amsterdam. The accommodation is splendid - spotless and comfortable with every little thing carefully considered and provided. The reviews don’t lie! 15 min away from Amsterdam Centraal by bus, this little house is an oasis of quiet green spaces with modern furnishings. The hosts are excellent communicators and lovely individuals as a whole; I enjoyed retreating to the BnB each afternoon, as well as breakfast the following morning. It was not hard to find and super clean. I look forward to a return!

Lovely Casita

We loved our stay with Klaas and Marianna - friendly, informative and so helpful. Breakfast was delivered and was delicious. Unit was spotless and had every thing we needed for the stay. The owners are so gracious but not overbearing. We plan on returning . The town itself is easy to navigate plus the bus stop into Amsterdam is just 5 mins away. If you get a chance stay !
