We loved our stay here. The view out the front window for sunrise is beautiful. The proximity of the rental was perfect for so many different hikes and activities. We would stay here again for sure. :)

Really lovely place. Loved the place. Mosier is a nice little town. Great communication with Martha. When we go back again we know we will stay there.

This cottage was the perfect choice for my solo end-of-summer getaway! Martha was a fantastic host. Everything about the cottage and the town was charming and cozy. I loved spending each morning out on the porch with my coffee, watching the squirrels and birds and looking out at the river and hills beyond. Lots of great walks, right from the doorstep. I took the photo from the beach path that is easily accessed from this property. The coffee shop and pub were fantastic. Mosier is a quaint little town. I couldn't have asked for a better trip. I will definitely be going back and would love to stay at this property again.

Great space, quiet area with easy access to Hood River. Stunning views too! We stayed for a wedding in Hood River and this was perfect for us. One tip is if you are sensitive to light when you sleep, bring a sleep mask as there are two skylights in the bedroom.Great time, great local coffee and food! We will definitely visit again!

We loved our weekend stay at the little red house. Nice big open floor plan includes the living room, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is well-lit and equipped, with a ton of counter space. We arrived in the evening and strolled a couple of blocks down to Mosier Company for some good food, drink and live music on their large patio. The next morning, I picked up groceries a couple of blocks the other direction at Brenna's market and had coffee on the porch looking out at the view. (Note: the view includes interstate 84, which is audible as well as visible. It didn't bother me, but just to note it's not a completely tranquil sound environment. I expect that will be true anywhere in the area, more so at places closer to the highway.) I walked from the house to a great hike past Mosier Creek Falls to the top of the hill there. As the host Martha says, "enjoy the pace of a small town." I much preferred Mosier to the traffic, tourists and parking meters of Hood River. If we came during hot weather, the pretty shaded side yard would have been a really appealing place for relaxing and reading, etc, and probably a good play area for kids. The one thing I didn't get is that the house is listed as 'beachfront.' Not sure how it qualifies as that...but we weren't there for windsurfing or paddling.

The Little Red House was just Perfect!

We loved the charm, cleanliness and convenient location. It was a quiet retreat after windsurfing in Hood River and we will most certainly stay there again. Thank you Martha!

Very nice and neat place

Perfect for a couples vacation. So much to see and do in the Columbia River Gorge! This house was perfect for what we needed. Really enjoyed the property and the area. Hopefully we will be back to area and do it again.

This cottage was absolutely perfect for us, away from crowds of tourists yet with easy access to great hiking in the Gorge and Mt. Hood National Forest, not to mention wonderful biking both east and west right out the front door! Very comfortable and clean house, with everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings, river views and trains passing through along both banks!

Beautiful Cottage with Views

We came to the area for our granddaughters All Star softball tournament and came across the Little Red House as an option to rent for our 3 day stay. We absolutely fell in love with the charm and location from the minute we arrived! The home is beautifully appointed and everything we needed was there for us to use. The river views were breathtaking and we look forward to a return trip very soon!

Charming Little Red House

Visited Hood River for a wedding and mini vacation. The home was so charming and in a very quiet neighborhood. So clean and tidy. The view was amazing while sitting on the porch at sunrise and sunset. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have never been to the Pacific North West. We had an occasion in Underwood Washington and rented this fantastic cottage. The beauty of the region is staggering. We had a great time. I am hoping we have an opportunity to return.
