Perfect Perch

We really enjoyed our stay in this 3rd story condo. It had everything we needed and it was located by a great little snorkeling spot. There were some restaurants nearby and we were able to get groceries and cook some meals as well. The highlight of this condo are the views from the living area and the beautiful rooftop terrace.

Truly paradise

Our second time staying in Hippie Bob and Diane’s units. South of the city where it gets quite. Right on the water with beautiful views. Great communication with the manager.Our family made a pact to come again!!!!

Cozumel Great!

The “penthouse” was everything they said and more. Condo well stocked, private beach was beautiful and good snorkeling. Tortugas beach bar next door was really good for lunch. We would recommend and return!

Great place, excellent location, easy access

No complaints regarding our stay. We did some scuba diving and really enjoyed the easy pick-up at the pier next door.

Great condo and location

The condo was very comfortable with lovely views and had everything we needed. The location was also perfect for us and our scuba company picked us up right next door. Damian was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.

Great location, sweet view

Great location. Did Ironman Cozumel, this condo was a five minute walk to Chankanaab where the bike transition area was located. Awesome view of the ocean. Great beach and swim area.

Christmas Holiday

Lovely stay at hippie Bobs penthouse. Very clean and spacious. If I had any complaint it was that the pool was cold but the ocean was so nice we didn’t miss it.

Quaint and close

The apartment is close to the sea. The pool is perfect. The grounds are clean. The unit itself is clean and provided a safe space for us to relax and unwind.

Relaxed Family Getaway

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) had a lovely time at this condo, enjoying relaxed, family togetherness afforded with a 3 bedroom fully equipped property. The management team went above and beyond to prepare us for our vacation experience in the details about the property and the island. Moreover, they were very flexible to make accommodations for us as needed. We loved the scenic views right from their living room and having both pool and beach access was incredible. We snorkeled right off their property and spotted a few starfish. We were going to catch a boat for scuba right next door, but met the dive team instead in town for our night dive. We loved Cozumel and hope to be back soon!

Very nice, quiet place to stay with a small group

Our group was two adults, two teenagers and one 8 year old. We had very good communications with the property Manager before we arrived and found the property exactly as advertised. We wanted a quiet place away from the crowds and were not disappointed. There was plenty of room for everyone and the views were great. We were very pleased with everything and had no problems and would be happy to go back there.

Fantastic location

So happy to rent from the Hunters again. This was our 4th or 5th stay and this location is by far the best. Easy snorkeling right out front, just steps away. The condo is beautifully decorated and the beds slept better than ours at home. Perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Restaurants, shopping and bars all very close. Water sports next door.Thanks again to Bob and Diana.

Hippie Bobs is the way to go!

Great property, right on the beach. Fantastic restaurant/bar right next door with music and jet skis. Recommend renting a car, but taxis would work too. Can’t express enough how clean and well maintained this place is. Damien the property manager will meet all your needs and answer all your questions. Skip the hotels, much better value for your $.

Beautiful ocean side location

The condo is on the 3rd floor overlooking pool and ocean. Great views from the wraparound deck for morning coffee. Hammock and hanging chair for lazy days. Rooftop palapa was a hit for us, shaded breezy spot to eat and watch the boats go by till sunset. Several 5 gallon pure water jugs provided was very helpful. Grocery store 15 minutes away had all we needed. And Damien’s recommendations for dinner were spot on. Guido’s and azul Madeira were great.

Great location for IM COZUMEL

We rented scooters for the week and were able to get everywhere we needed to go. On race morning I walked down to transition to drop off nutrition and then hopped on one of the provided buses to get to the swim start. It was perfect.

A fantastic vaction in paradise

My wife and I (+2 tweens) had the opportunity to spend 10 days in this property. We could not be happier. Everything was in top notch shape and the grounds were immaculate. The penthouse offered all the amenities you can think of and was very clean. The communication was the owner was also flawless. I could not recommend this place enough but I'd like to keep it as a secret in order to rent it in the future!

Amazing all Around!!

I have been to Cozumel many times and very familiar with the island. The Penthouse at Paradise Condominiums is one of my new favorite places to stay! The condominium & amenities are great; the grounds are well manicured; the pool and the beach area are top rated. I enjoyed the fact it was between two beach clubs so if we desired extra drinks or eats it was all right there but not so close to invade our privacy. The condominiums are close enough to town for an evening out and also in perfect location for a trip to the other side of the island. Thanks Hippie Bob, Diana and Collette for allowing us to stay at your beautiful paradise.

just what the doctor ordered

I have stayed at Bob & Diane's on several occasions. Everything is as advertised. If you are looking to get away and experience peace and quiet in a beautiful tropical setting, this is the place for you. The walk from the coffee machine to the water front is about 50 feet. The snorkeling off the property is very nice. And it is a delight to have a glass of wine by the pool at night and contemplate who put all those stars up in the sky. There are numerous activities in Cozumel, and the "downtown" dining options are plentiful and delicious no matter what your preference for cuisine. I'll keep coming back.

Everything we Hoped For!

Our family of 6 spent a truly spectacular week in Cozumel at Hippie Bob's Penthouse. The property was spacious, well maintained, with plenty of towels, silverware, kitchen supplies, snorkel gear, welcoming fruit and flowers---all the stuff you need coupled with amazing generosity. Its location couldn't be better---two steps from the house to the ocean and really exciting, excellent and safe daily snorkeling. The complex itself is lovely, too, and not so large as to be off-putting. It was all so very easy---from Bob's regular and delightful communications to our being met at the airport by Jordi, the on-site property manager. And all for a very fair price. We rented a car and had no difficulty driving around the island; we particularly enjoyed an excursion to Mayan ruins in the center of the island and the opportunity to visit the non-touristed parts of the island. We really had a tremendous time and look forward to returning as soon as we can. Perhaps someday we can even meet the legendary Hippie Bob and Diane.

Ideal Location, both for Beach-Bums and for Triathletes

We brought a large entourage of family and friends (12 in all) for a stay at this property and another unit in the same development for just over two weeks in late November, leading up to the Cozumel Ironman triathlon on 11/27. The location was ideal for pre-race training, and for race-day spectating. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, well-maintained and enjoyable. The views from the outdoor terrace are as wonderful as the posted photos suggest, especially for quiet cup of coffee at sunrise and for a wind-down beverage at sunset. Our three grown kids especially enjoyed the availability of the on-property pool and beach areas for lounging and sunning, as well as the convenience of several lunch/snacking options within a few minute's walk, at Playa Uvas Beach Club and Varaderos Restaurant. Also, Chankanaab Park, with its many eco-tourism and dolphin-watching opportunities, is just a few minute's walk the other way. The only minor drawback to the property's location turned out to be getting a taxi in the evenings, when we wanted to head downtown to dine and shop. At most other times, taxis are plentiful on both sides, either at Chankanaab or at Uvas. Bob and Diane provide a very helpful and detailed "local info" book, with reviews of their favorite eateries and sights on the island. We worked our way through most of these over our 2-week stay, and found them to be quite accurate. Several minor maintenance issues arose while we were in this property, but these were handled in a speedy, effective way by Jordi, Bob's on-site property manager. In summary, we were very pleased with our choice of this property and this location, which served us quite well both as a triathlon training venue and as a great spot for a beach-centered family vacation. Bob and Diane could not have been more accommodating and supportive, and we look forward to our return visits.
