Wonderful cabin with a fantastic view!

This is a great property for 2 couples. 5 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock with easy access but with an amazing view. The owners pay attention to all the details that make your stay more enjoyable.

Lisa was an excellent host and the cabin was very well appointed and perfect. Awesome in every way. Beautiful views, convenient to hiking, food, beverage, and shopping. We loved it and will be back for sure!!

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Great location close to Blowing Rock and the view from the backyard was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Great Weekend Getaway

Everything was as advertised... Perfect distance from Blowing Rock. Property owner was super responsive and amenable. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Elk Ridge Cottages. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the comforts of home. What really stood out for us was walking in to find a beautifully lit Christmas tree and festive décor throughout the cottage. It was such a warm, thoughtful touch that made our stay feel truly magical. Absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Lisa was prompt with her reply to any questions. The property was clean, organized and had all of the amenities needed! Beautiful views, a fire pit complete with wood and very comfortable beds. I would definitely stay again!!

Just spectacular!

We are long time visitors to the Blowing Rock area. This is the most spectacular home we have stayed in. It has all the amenities anyone could need. The views are fantastic.

Our host Lisa could not have been more helpful, always responded immediately to any questions. The pictures of the cabin don't do it justice. The cabin was incredibly clean, spacious and well appointed. The view from the deck is amazing. Can't wait to return next year.

Blowing Rock Getaway

This property was perfectly located to enjoy the mountain scenery and close enough to Blowing Rock and Boone to enjoy all they offer. Panoramic views from its mountain location were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

Cottage is just as pictured and very comfortable. Host provides ALOT of information at time of booking. Approach to the address is directly off 4 lane curvy highway with two double yellow lines in the center so our maps had us go way past the road and turn around every time we came and went, but husband ignored that and just drove across the double yellows every time. The road is narrow and steep, no issue for us in our truck. Deck is in great shape, wish there had been pet gates so our pup could have been out there more with us without being leashed. We did not cook in but kitchen looked well stocked. Bed was comfortable, a little softer than we like but slept great. Texted host when we checked out, but did not get a reply which seemed a little odd, but otherwise a smooth stay. Would come back, although not in winter bc of the steep entry and road location, even with our truck.

5 Star Stay!

We had a great stay at this property. The views were beautiful and the cabin itself is comfortable, modern and well-stocked! This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and the owners clearly thought of every detail. Blowing Rock is only a few minutes away. We hope to stay here again soon.

Loved the cabin

Great cabin and perfect view! Well appointed and very comfortable! It was noisy at times from the traffic below us on the highway!

Thank you Glyn for your review. One thing that we found is that the window in the Master bedroom was left slightly open allowing for additional noise to be heard. We have fixed this problem.
