Perfect place for our family! We enjoyed staying at Creekside Cabin. The host thought of everything to make our stay memorable-from fresh homemade cookies to toys out for our grandson, everything was just perfect!

We had a relaxing time at the cabin. Easy access to town. It was good to be away from the typical city sounds and in the midst of the country sounds.

This is a great property for relaxing on several of the porches overlooking the creek. It is clean, well maintained and has all the basics you’ll need. The hosts are exceptional with communication and offering suggestions for activities in the area. I’m looking forward to a return visit.

We found this place to be a gem, it worked perfectly for our stay. We were in town for a family wedding nearby in Blowing rock and this place was far enough off the beaten path to relax after a busy day but very close to all the amenities you would need and centrally located for exploring the surrounding mountains which we found amazing! Check in /out was simple, communication with the hosts was great, lightning fast and enjoyable. It’s obvious Sherri and Rick take pride in their cabin and want to provide an enjoyable experience for their guests. Without a doubt Creekside cabin would be where we will stay when we return to the area, thanks for a memorable family stay!

My husband and I had an amazing week in Boone staying at Creekside Cabin! It was the perfect place for us to unwind and just relax. Rick and Sherry have created the most inviting home and their hospitality shines throughout. It is quickly obvious they have tried to anticipate and fulfill every need you may have The cozy atmosphere of the living room and kitchen (with the best cookies ever provided) extend to the dining room and out onto the back porch, where we spent our mornings drinking coffee, listening to the sounds of the creek. The mattress in the master was very comfortable and the linens were plush. It was cool enough that we were able to have a fire two different nights in the fire pit, with all the wood provided by Rick. From split logs down to fire starter, everything you need is provided. Even a s’mores kit and marshmallow sticks!! Although we didn’t get to meet Sherry as she was traveling, Rick was a wonderful host and both of them were really quick to respond to text messages with answers to any questions we had. Our highest praise of Creekside Cabin is that we are already looking at our calendar to plan another visit…soon!!

The Creekside Cabin is perfect! It was exactly as described and a perfect place for our getaway to the mountains. Check in was easy, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Sherry and Rick were very helpful with all of our questions and we appreciated the open communication. Thanks to them for a wonderful stay and the special treats! Highly recommend the Creekside Cabin!!

The host were great! The cabin was very clean and everything was in great condition. They had cookies waiting for us and everything ready for us to use the fire pit and make s’mores. It is in a great location that allowed us to explore many sites in just 2 days. We would love to stay again!

This was a wonderful stay! I received check-in information in a timely manner. Checking in and out was a breeze. This is a precious cabin, and it was absolutely spotless. Tucked in the trees, with a bubbling creek below, almost has a treehouse feel. We enjoyed the covered porches with provided rocking chairs, tables and chairs. There were lots of places to sit outside. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit but just had too much going on to make a fire or take advantage of the grill. The owner has this house so well stocked, there was nothing we needed that they hadn't already thought of! I had mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and a small cake/decorations were there when we arrived. What a wonderful surprise! House is conveniently situated to downtown Boone, and neighboring communities, but would honestly just love to stay here, listen to the creek, watch the birds and just unwind! Highly recommend

It was a cute cabin with a stream in the back. The owners were great at communicating with me. We saw deer and some turkeys around the area. It was a great place to stay.

The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for better communication and understanding in a family matter that required us to reschedule our stay. Prior to arrival , the host was in contact to let us know the drive had been cleared of snow and salted. And upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and cozy cabin complete with homemade cookies!
