Beach stay 2024.

Most everything you could possible eed to stay at the beach for 2 weeks and not need to eat out all the time. The finced back yard was a hit with my daughters 2 dogs. Would book again

Great location

Owners and house manager responded to us quickly. The yard was perfect for our dog and grand kids. Plenty of sitting areas for our group. Location was close to everything we needed.

Re-Joyce House

Great spacious property in good neighborhood. Had a party of 6 and fit everyone comfortably. Short drive to beach. Back yard had fantastic deck with bbq pit.

The house was clean and cozy with a convenient yet quiet location. It was so nice to be able to do laundry when needed. We appreciated having two bathrooms and being able to take two showers at once after a day at the beach.

Family beach trip

Easy to book, no problems upon arrival or during our stay! Property was exactly like it is pictured. Far enough away from the main strip to be quiet but close enough to be a quick trip to the beach. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Nice Place to Stay

The property was clean and well kept up. They have pretty much anything you need, as well. They have folding chairs, a grill, beach towels, toys for the kids, a fenced in backyard and much more available to their guests. Wonderful pet friendly vacation home for sure! And with four beds and two large couches, it can sleep plenty of guests. I think my only two *small* complaints is that there was a bucket of chalk within children's reach and the shelves in the main bathroom are super deep and we kept hitting our heads on the corners while trying to bathe the kids. But overall it was a wonderful stay!

Great location

Great location great facilities for cooking. Nice and clean. I brought my dogs. I had a Wonderful fenced yard. This would be great for a family. I would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable stay in 'family' home

Staying at the ReJoyce House was like visiting Grandma's house. Sure, there were some things that could use an update, but it was cozy & comfortable and had plenty of room for our adult family of 5 to host Thanksgiving with our 3 inlaws. Plus they saved our holiday by booking us at the last minute when our previous booking fell through.

Great weekend getaway

My family and I try to make one beach trip a year all together around my birthday with is also near the end of summer. This one was last minute and I am so glad we found this place! We were three generations plus fur babies. The house was homey, like we were visiting family. All the furniture was comfortable. Plenty of room to stretch out. Great neighborhood. Convenient to everything but quiet. No constant traffic. The bed I slept in was super comfortable (the master) No one else complained so they must all be. Plenty of towels for everyone. Lots of blankets. I didnt have a dishwasher for many years and now that I do, I rarely use it. Not having a dishwasher in this house was no biggie. My granddaughter especially appreciated the toys. We had a grand time playing games. It was scorching hot outside so it was nice to have some indoor activities. My daughter and I were planning our return before we left! The deck would be great to dine on once it cools off a bit. It was too hot to try the grill unfortunately. All the 5 star reviews are what made me choose this house. I encourage you to do the same if you are looking for something low key and pet friendly

Family Vacation 2023

My family enjoy staying there, we had plenty of room for everyone! Close to the beach, which was not crowded! Maybe put up a list of places to go to around the area. We will most definitely stay here again!!!

We definitely ReJoyced!

This house was perfect. I had looked over it in the past because I just wasn’t sure about it. Don’t overlook it! This house is clean, very roomy and comfortable! It has everything you need. Plenty of towels, pots, pans, dishes, appliances. The backyard is great. The neighborhood was quiet. It’s not a far drive from the beach either. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you guys for everything.

Family Weekend

We were in the Bay St Louis area for my Father’s memorial service and being able to all be together was so nice! Plenty of beds, sitting space, toys for the Grandson, great back porch for some LSU baseball, and a well stocked kitchen for all the eating. Only thing to note is the thermostat takes a minute to figure out and seems to be controlled by owners. But overall great stay!

Wonderful place for a family get together

I would not hesitate to rent again. Very accommodating and great location. Not far from beach and main street attractions. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. Wonderful backyard.

Cozy Home Away From Home

It was a cute house! We enjoyed the backyard (except for the tree dropping all the little catkins everywhere...ahh!!) Excellent communication with the homeowners. Would have liked to have something a little more permanent for the room doorways besides the curtains (in the one room that used to be a living area) but only because our toddler would run into that "room" without warning. Overall plenty of space for us, an excellent location, and wonderful communication.

Parade trip

Great month in BSL

We spent the month of February. at the Re-Joyce house in Bay Saint Louis and enjoyed it very much. The house is very large, moreso than it appears in the listing. Four bedrooms and two full baths were more than enough space for my wife and I, along with our German Shepherd. The kitchen was well equipped, lacking only a dishwasher, which was not a bother. The fenced rear yard was large enough for our dog, and surprisingly private considering we were in a regular type of neighborhood with plenty of houses nearby. Being on a cul de sac meant a minimum of traffic and it was exceptionally quiet. People in BSL are as friendly as you'll find anywhere. It's just a couple minutes from a beautiful beach that runs for miles and is very dog friendly. Stores and shopping were equally close by, very convenient especially since the traffic was very light and never a problem. The downtown area was full of restaurants and bars, most right on the water, and offered live music four nights a week even in the winter months. Access to bigger city fun such as New Orleans, Biloxi, or Pensacola was simple and less than an hour away. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet friendly place to stay, yet close by a lot of activities. Betty was a warm and gracious host who responded quickly to any questions we had, though we had no issues at all during our stay. It's more comfortable than fancy, just our style. We met a lot of people from New Orleans and surrounding areas who were planning on moving to the BSL area to take advantage of the warm small town vibe. Bay Saint Louis is a well kept secret on the gulf coast.

Great little big-house getaway

The listing doesn't do justice for the size. Not that it's really big, just plenty of room to be cozy. Back patio and yard were nice to spend mornings on with coffee and quiet (except for the train-which is thankfully short lived). Lots of outlets, TV/Tech ready, lots of blankets, beds were OUTSTANDINGLY comfortable. Being residential, easy to lose the feeling of being being close to downtown Bay St Louis and just across the bridge to Long Beach and the other way to New Orleans. Perfect go between location! Missed the dishwasher but it gives one a chance to partner again with family tasks. Keep this bookmarked.

We offer at a low price not to make money, but to cover the expenses it takes to maintain the home and property. The house is named after my mother Joyce.

This property is located on one of the highest points of the gulf coast. It survived Camille and Katrina with minimal damage.
We love bringing our grandchildren here. With the fenced backyard and the closeness of the beach, they have the best of both worlds without the fear of water or cars.
House is 95% remodeled. We have recently updated the kitchen with new appliances and the floors in the main part of the house.
