This was such a sweet little spot. We had everything we needed and more for the night we spent there, and the host was clearly very thoughtful about every aspect of the guest space. We spent Friday night and we definitely heard the family wake up on Saturday morning and start their day. It didn’t bother us at all, and the host was clear about expectations. We were up early and out by 9 so it was perfect for what we needed. We’ll definitely stay again.

The place was beautiful and had so many amenities. The photos don’t do it justice for the size of the space. And there are cute trails through the woods my kids enjoyed! We barely heard the family upstairs. The attention to detail was appreciated.

We had a wonderful four night stay along with our 2 dogs. The suite was spotless and stocked with treats for us and our pups. There was a spacious yard and outdoor patio to enjoy and the kitchenette was just fine for our needs. We appreciated that the driveway and path to the suite were well lit and easy to navigate and we took advantage of the option to check in a bit early, which made the remainder of our stay much less rushed. We would most definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Great for a weekend trip

Our family had a great weekend stay at the Deer Hideout. The kitchette was perfect for morning breakfast and coffee before a long day exploring the area. The owners provided a great welcome board including some excellent homemade banana bread, which made us feel like we were home.

We stayed one night to help break up our drive to the beach. This was the best little find for us! Big yard for our dog to sniff, quiet, extremely clean, comfortable bed and welcoming. Kevin and Desiree were easy to communicate with and gave plenty of information about everything you’d need. If we get the chance to book again we definitely will!
