Bea was an amazing host and we felt blessed for her to let us stay in her cabin. Wonderful getaway place, cozy cottage, and deer in the yard was just what we needed and wanted! She greeted us with a plate of brownies that were heaven sent! We are already making plans to go back!

My wife and I had a great long weekend in this beautiful log cabin. Very secluded but close to the things we wanted to see and do. If you pick this cabin, ask Bea to make her brownies. They are amazing!

I had a wonderful stay at Deer Ridge Cabin. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and wonderfully secluded—the perfect place to relax, enjoy the quiet, and take in the natural beauty of the Scottsville area. It truly felt like a peaceful escape from everyday life.Bea was an exceptionally friendly and welcoming host. She clearly cared about making sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay, which made the experience even better. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would absolutely stay at Deer Ridge Cabin again.

Well, what more can I say, Bea depicts a home away from home experience. She welcomes you to her comfy cabin with a batch of homemade brownies . The property is heaven. Deer are visiting often and the air is pure and medicinal. We would stay here again and again. Thank you for the warm Virginia Welcome Bea

Wonderful, clean, private cabin in the woods. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to Charlottesville activities and also fun stuff to do in the small town of Scottsville.

This property was amazing!! Located near many historical sites and cool wineries! It is private enough to have true quiet and restful relaxation but close enough to enjoy Charlottesville. The host was very informative and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! Highly recommend!!

The cabin was wonderful! Nice and cozy and very clean, perfect for our weekend trip! Cabin was nicely decorated with all the touches of home! It was nice to have the property to roam while we were there! Bea was a wonderful host and it was a pleasure to chat with her! If you're in the area this is definitely the place to stay! Hope to be back again!

This was our second stay at the Deer Ridge Cabin. It is a beautifully constructed log home in a very private clearing in a hardwood forest. Bea is a great hostess. She is available if you need anything, but will leave you to enjoy the property if you don’t. If you are looking to get away from it all in the hills of Virginia, while having all of the comforts of home…this is the place.
