This fully equipped and nicely furnished one bedroom, one bath condo is 150 yards from playa azul beach in Luquillo and is within walking distance of many great bars and restaurants. It has air conditioners in the bedroom and living room, a large flat screen tv, cable and WiFi. The condo is ideal for two adults. We do not accept children. It is recommended that no more than two adults stay at the condo. The condo has one bedroom with Queen bed. There is a regular size sofa in the living room that does NOT fold out into a bed. There is also a loveseat in the living room that does fold out into a single size bed. Guests are invited to use the washer & dryer, beach chairs, coolers, and boogie boards. Bath towels, beach towels and bath toiletries are also provided.

We speak English and Spanish.

Luquillo Stay

This was a perfect set up for my me and my husband. Kitchen stocked well, condo very clean, communication between Ed property manager and Rebecca owner excellent. We didn’t have a car but restaurants and grocery stores, beaches were walkable for us. Used Luquillo Taxi service for our airport transportation and excursions which I would also highly rate. We had a great stay and highly recommend!

Birthday vacation

Condo was exactly as stated. Very clean and comfy. Easy walk to beach and some restaurants close by. and about a half mile walk to square where there were more restaurants. Property manager checked in with us during our stay to see if we had any questions or needs. Loved that it was a very relaxed areaatmosphere in Luquillo

Beautiful, peaceful, lovely stay

We had a wonderful time staying at this sweet little condo. It is exactly as advertised, very comfortable and clean with essentials like towels and cookware. We loved sitting out on the small balcony. The condo manager was communicative and helpful, even offering recommendations. The beach is at the end of the block! We chose not to rent a car and we found Luquillo to be very walkable. There’s a bar, bakery/restaurant, and convenience store within three blocks and a supermarket, drugstore, and various fast food within a 15 minute walk. We were even able to get picked up for our day trip at the Fairfield Marriott nearby. If you’re looking for a chill vacation at a lovely condo in a walkable spot steps from the beach, look no further!

Perfect for what we needed!

The location for this rental was perfect. It was a very short walk to an excellent beach and 3 minute drive from the kioskos as well as close enough to walk to them and the town square. The condo was very clean and even had beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkels. The property manager was very attentive and helpful with local recommendations. El Yuenque was only a 15 minute drive away. Highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Clean,Comfortable, and Great Location

This Condo was excellent in every way. Being this was my first time to Puerto Rico. This place was an amazing place to stay to start my experience. It was clean, cozy, and the percfect location to enjoy what Puerto Rico have to offer. Many stores and restaurant to indulge in the culture of PR. You can walk to the beach and enjoy the ocean. San Juan is about 30 min away if you want to go there. The Rainforest is about 5 mjns. If you just want to relax at the condo, it's the perfect spot. It's like home away from home. Anytime I plan to come to Puerto Rico, this spot is the first place I will check for availability! Two thumbs 👍 👍to the host and the manager on site! 👌

Beautifully organized

My wife and I were very impressed on how organized the place was. The decor was very tasteful and beautiful. We didn’t get to meet our host but they were both the only people on our whole trip we didn’t have to request any information prior to our arrival. If you forgot anything they had it in the condo.

A must stay!

Great location, included all the beach essentials, super comfortable, and accurate. The owner was a great concierge and kept in touch with me ahead, during, and after my check-in, gave me great recommendations in the area, and quickly came to my rescue when needed. Definitely a must stay!

Beach Bliss!

Celebrated 9 years of marriage in this cozy apartment! Quick walk to the beach. Swam every day. Thankful for the boogie board and hammock! AC worked great. Comfy bed. Large shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. Kitchen was fully stocked. Had trouble understanding the TV since had 3 remotes but a teenager would have figured it out in 2 minutes! Oh well! More time to hang out in the beach! Close to restaurants and shopping. Property is very safe and clean! Would love to come back!

Not handicap accessible

Did not stay there due to inconvenience. My mom is handicap and couldn’t go up that many stairs. Therefore couldn’t stay. Had to stay somewhere else. Manager and host were immediately informed of the situation.

HS reunion

My trip was planned around my 40th HS reunion. We stayed in Aguadilla for a few days then finished our trip staying in Luquillo in order to visit El Yunque and Old San Juan. I do recommend this unit 100%. Ed, the condo manager was awesome. Communication via text helped a lot. This avoided having to login to the website. He offered to meet us upon arrival but we didn’t know exact time. He provided detailed checking procedures and provided us with was near to us to eat and shop. He was on point. The unit itself had everything you needed especially AC units in the living room and bedroom which was awesome. Unit is very nicely decorated and they provide the little things you might forget when packing. I did like that touch. The fridge had coffee, sugar and creamer, lived this!! The beach is in walking distance which is a plus. Overall experience was a 10+. We will be back!!! Thanks!

Comfy Paradise

Love this apartment..from location,to having everything you need to make your stay perfect. Awesome Birthday Trip

Everything was wonderful. Location was the best. It's about a 500 feet walk away from beach, but also close to a grocery store for essentials. There are local shops but not too many, it was a nice balance. Didn't have to go far for something good to eat and you also had the option to cook in condo if you wanted. The host and maintenance manger were very helpful, friendly and easy assessible. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Perfect stay for me, my sister, and my daughter.

You can tell a lot of care was put into cleaning and preparing the unit for guests. I am technologically inept and messed up when I was booking the room, but the owner was so responsive and helpful in fixing my goof. The property itself is in an ideal location. Very near the beach and not in an area with bonkers traffic. Area was quiet, except for the stray roosters, which seem to inhabit the entire island. Ha! One thing I liked about the property was the area in the parking lot you can use to rinse off the sand to avoid tracking it through the house. Check-in was easy and the manager was very communicative. The unit was stocked with all essentials and then some. The patio even had things you could take to the beach. We used the washer and dryer a few times and they worked great. AC was great. Bed was comfortable. I need to talk about the shower. Look, I've never felt the need to review a shower before, but the one here was so good that it deserves its own paragraph. Sure, it got hot and cold and had good water pressure, which was nice. What made it great was the heavenly rain shower head. You guys. 10/10. So relaxing and the shower was even stocked with soap/conditioner. Bottom line, if you want to stay in a safe, quiet, clean place with a spectacular shower, a beach at the end of the block, and unbeatable customer service, this is the place for you. Unless I'm vacationing at the same time, because I will dibs it. ;)

Enjoyable Stay February 10- February 14, 2024

This was our first visit to this Luquillo neighborhood. It is a 2 block to walk to the beach, and a five minute drive to the Luquillo kiosks and the public parking lot for the adjacent Monserrate Beach. It is possible to walk along the shore and sidewalk along the entire beach from the kiosks to the Azul beach, which would be approximately a 30 minute walk. The apartment was attractive and nicely decorated and the pictures advertised were accurate. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cleaning products available for use. It was nice having the washer and dryer to be able to end our stay with clean clothes to pack. We appreciated having the bathroom renovated to modern standards. There were plenty of bath towels and beach towels in the linen closet. Our only criticism of the bathroom was that the mirror is hung too low. The building manager was very proactive, texting us to give us the lockbox information, and volunteering to come over or to call him if we had any problems. We appreciated having the beach chairs and other beach items located in the closet on the balcony. We also appreciated having the parking lot securely gated and having an assigned parking spot. The immediate neighborhood appeared to be safe for walking during the day and early evening and was surrounded by other condominium buildings which looked to be well kept up. The majority of them were also securely gated. We would definitely stay again.

Prime Puerto Rican Location

My husband, pre-teen kids and I stayed here. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Even though we had a rainy week, we were so close to the beach that we could go between rain showers. The beach at the end of the street continues in both directions. It’s an easy beach walk to Monserrate and Luquillo beach & kiosks in one direction and Luquillo square in the opposite direction. Some of the best snorkeling was at the beach nearby. The location was also just a short drive to other attractions like the Ceiba ferry, El Yunque, and La Cabeza natural area. The owners were excellent at communicating and offered terrific suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We loved the 18 degree juice bar and cafe! The condo had all the amenities we needed and more! The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Linens and towels were high quality too. We appreciated the board games, playing cards and extra books on our rainy afternoons. The place is obviously well taken care of. We would love to come back here again!

Truly cozy in a good way

We enjoyed the detail and thoughtfulness the owner showed and the on-site manager was great too. The property is about a half a block from one of the most beautiful beaches we've been to, the town has most conveniences, and the nearby National Forest is truly unique.

THE BEST VRBO CONDO EVER!

As the title of this review states, this was absolutely the best place I have ever stayed at in 20 years! It is true what over reviewers have said about Rebecca's condo. She has everything you need. All you need to bring is your swim wear, sandals, and a couple of tee-shirts. Everything else is in the condo (beach chairs, suntan lotion, soap, shampoo, cooking spices, laundry detergent, beach towels, washer/dryer, etc.) Rebecca was quick to respond to all my questions prior to the trip, and her property manager, Ed provided some recommendations for places to eat and activities. We felt at home. The beach was also just one block from the place, and there was a nice bakery within walking distance. I planned to return very soon.

Lovely

My daughter and I had the best time staying here. From beginning to end the process was great. The description is accurate…lovely, cozy apartment for two maybe 3. Great communication with the owner since the start of the process till the end and very smooth. The manager also was great at communicating with us to make sure we were taken care of. The instructions were perfect as to how to get there, into the apartment, grocery stores, hours, recommendations and any other details. I particularly loved the privacy and safety as it is a gated place with your own parking spot! Attention to detail was amazing. The apartment was ready for us, clean and so well equipped! It is a very lovely place and walking distance to the beach and places to eat and more. I highly recommend this place and seriously can not wait to go back! Thanks so much to the host and manager!

Great Stay

Really enjoyed this unit and location close to many restaurants, beach is a half a block away, covered parking is a plus which maintains the vehicle much cooler, the unit iswas equipped with everything you can possibly need, supermarket is 2 mins away along a Walmart about 10 mins away along with others store just east of the condo, you will also find 66 outlet mall 20 mins west. The condo had great internet speeds 200+ downloads for when you need to get some work done on the laptop and for streaming from your fire stick. Air conditioning was great in both the living room and bedroom. The one minor issue was the bathroom mirror was to low for me I am 6'1 and had to crouch to see myself to shave maybe change the mirror out for one the will meet the bottom of the light fixture for a better viewing for shaving other than that the place was great also the host Ed was easy to reach and he did check on us if we needed anything during our stay. Thank you Ed for your time. Almost forgot to mention it's a very easy drive from the SJU airport to Luquillo about 30mins. Definitely will rent this unit again in near your future.

We had a wonderful stay! Apartment was perfect.

The apartment was so well stocked, everything you could possibly need was readily available. Extremely clean and spacious, comfortable bed. Ed’s recommendations for restaurants were spot on! We really enjoyed everything and will most definitely come back here to stay the next time we visit Puerto Rico. Thanks so much for everything!

Super rental property!!

This property was as fantastic as it looks online! It was clean and had all the necessities to make it quite comfortable. It's within walking distance of restaurants and the beach is right there! Rebecca, the property owner, was super attentive prior to us arriving and then Ed took over. He was a great resource whenever we had questions. Book your stay, I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.

The owner, Rebecca Stern, bought this condo in 2009 as a vacation home and spent many great vacation here. She retired from her elected position of criminal court judge in Chattanooga, Tennessee June 1, 2015 and moved to a larger condo in Luquillo.

It is located in a gated building with only 24 units. The building property is well maintained and nicely landscaped. There are two outdoor showers located in the parking area for washing sand off feet and beach chairs. You get the feel here of living like a local.
