All around a wonderful experience. The cottage is beautiful and adorable. It's clean and well-kept. We had zero issues. The host was marvelous. Jodee makes you feel like a friend and I feel genuinely blessed to have gotten to speak with her and experience her kindness. All in all, a delightful experience we will remember for a long time. And I hope we can return!

Stop looking anywhere else and just book this absolutely peaceful fairytale cottage, it’s magical! And you can take your pets! Our Morkie’s Daisy and Ruby had the best vacation, ever!If you love peace, quiet and nature; you will adore this property. The critter feeder alone can keep you entertained for hours each morning and evening from one of the many sitting areas or the hot tub with so many birds, chipmunks, squirrels, etc. We had a bear sighting on our last couple of evenings and enjoyed watching him wander around; wished we had been the cottage every evening as it seemed his time to cruise through.The inside is comfortable, cozy and beautiful, you truly feel like you are in a Storybook, esp looking out at night with all of the twinkling lights outside and the peace around you on this property. The drive in and out is a little bumpy but worth every single bump for being so central to all things Smoky’s. Only 20 is minutes to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, Less than 40 minutes to Cades Cove or the National ParkBOOK IT, bring groceries and be ready to RELAX!

Absolutely love Jodi! She has been the best host! We have stayed at the Storybook 3 times now and plan to go back again! Such an excellent place to go to disconnect from the craziness of life!

Jodee was wonderfully responsive throughout our stay, and her local knowledge was a real bonus — she even filled us in on the resident teenage bears causing mischief in the area! The cottage itself is everything you could want: comfortable, peaceful, and genuinely remote. Tucked in the scenic Wear Valley on the edge of the National Park, it felt like a true retreat from the world.

Loved the Storybook Cottage! Very clean, well stocked, convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and very private. Would definitely book again!

The cottage was beautiful and private. The outdoor area was great for relaxing and family fun, and we loved watching the wildlife. Jodee was a great host and addressed any questions or concerns we had very quickly.

One word… MAGICAL!!My Husband and I have been coming to the area for years, and this is by far the best trip we have had. Jodee could not have been any sweeter and responsive. We have found our new place to stay whenever we come for a visit. We were a little concerned with not having 4WD, but made it just fine in our Prius. The road back to the cottage is a bit sketchy in some places, but if you are careful and pay attention, you should be just fine. The name “Storybook Cottage” is perfect for this home, as you truly do feel like you are in a storybook. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and chipmunks frolic outside, and enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds as well. We had a daily visit from a cardinal, or visitor from heaven as I like to call them. We even had some daily visits from some bears. That was by far one of our favorite things. We always go to Cades Cove in the hopes of seeing a bear or two in the wild, and loved the fact that we had them right outside the door to watch and enjoy. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us Jodee, we will definitely be back in the future.

The property and cottage were fantastic! We loved the seclusion and streams. Our dog loved it. We had a cute touch of heart shaped towels for our Valentines weekend stay. We didnt have hot water when we go there but they were quick to get it resolved the next morning. One the best places we have stayed on vacation!

This beautiful cottage was nothing short of a Fall Fairytale! Everything was perfect and we were so comfortable! It felt like home away from home! Jodee was absolutely amazing to work with and she made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. We will definitely be back!

Storybook is THE BEST vacation spot! Our 2nd year in a row! If you’re looking for a nice secluded cabin this is it!! We sat three bears as well!!! We love Jodee she’s the best host ever!!

The cottage is pristine, luxurious, comfortable and full of amenities - so much to do! The area outside the cottage is breathtaking - surrounded by nature, enveloping you with a sense of peace and tranquility.

Great stay

Perfect location for 4th of July weekend activities. As described, it is a steep driveway that is hard to get up with a low car, but absolutely worth it. Overall great stay.
