Experience what authentic coastal living is really like in Downeast Maine's quaint Eastport downtown village.

Located right in the heart of activity in Eastport, this beautiful 2 BR loft provides an opportunity to observe and experience what authentic coastal living in Maine is really like.

This is not Bar Harbor. Eastport is a community surrounded by water, totally off the grid, at the end of the road that is as far North and East as you can possibly travel in the USA.

Not only is Eastport an incredibly friendly city, but it also has a busy working waterfront. And staying in the downtown provides everything you need while still being surrounded by all the beauty of this coastal area.

This 2 bedroom condo is just about dead center on the downtown strip in the historic Downtown Eastport strip. The kitchen has the main prep area under a large stretch of windows to watch the working waterfront while cooking or cleaning. All the details carefully planned out down to the walk-in shower, the original hardwood floors in the bedrooms, and outdoor grilling and seating area with soft evening lighting!

No car needed. You are in the heart of the town with: restaurants, micro brewery, coffee shops, galleries, art center, outside activities and performances, pier fishing, whale watching, and fishing trips, relaxing walks along the water in the early AM for the first sunrise to touch the USA or a peaceful evening stroll to enjoy the weekly outdoor movie and music performances, or perhaps just a walk to a local pub or restaurant. Phoenix Fine Wines and Horn Run brew pub are just across the street. Full Fathom Five, a fine art gallery, is located below this unit. They carry all mediums of art from local artists

What are some things to do nearby? There is a ferry in Eastport that takes passengers and bikes to Lubec to check out the town. There is also an opportunity for fishing charters, whale watching trips, or experience how a​ lobsterman pulls traps.

There is also a very vibrant art culture with a lot of talented local artists displaying in numerous galleries in Eastport. What an amazing place to stay in Eastport. We had a very cozy stay! Outstanding space, every amenity was there, very communicative owners, in a quaint little seaside town :) We will def be staying again as we visit at least once a year!

Home away from home.

When I walked in the door I was surprised because I thought it would be the size of a small hotel Master bedroom with an adjoining bedroom... instead it was a full 2-bedroom apartment! The room, location of the facility, and close eateries exceeded my expectations.

Our Go-To vacation rental in Eastport

This 2 BR apartment is immaculately clean, and well appointed. The owners Greg and Carol are a delight. The space is in the heart of Eastport, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. There's no reason to stay anywhere else.

This is a beautiful spacious, clean, well appointed apartment is conveniently located in downtown Eastport. Shops, restaurants, art galleries, pubs, & wine store were all within walking distance. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. A beautiful & private patio is perfect for lounging and cocktails. Lubec & Campobello are just a short drive. I would definitely rent this unit again. The owners were very accommodating & readily available. Thx so much for a great stay!

Host and hostess the best! They thought of everything to make you comfortable. Artistically and beautifully restored apartment. Loved the ambiance, cozy courtyard and the town. Everyone friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The loft was clean and beautiful. This was my first time using VRBO, Greg and his wife made it a seamless process from checking in to checking out. They are very nice and helpful with any questions I had.

Spacious Waterview Overlook

Stayed family including two adults, two kids and our 4-legged. Great layout, great kitchen gear, overlooking downtown's main street and the harbor. Did not require air-conditioning - fresh air, sunlight, quiet all through the night. Great places to walk, interesting shops. Just love it there so much!

Perfect spot in Eastport

We enjoyed our stay in the well appointed, comfortable and conveniently located rental. I had a few things about our stay that got shifted around and the Hosts were very accommodating. Next time we’re in Eastport I hope this rental is available. I would highly recommend it.

This spacious 2bedroom apartment was beautifully decorated, well appointed and equipped, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were wonderful. We felt welcomed, cared about, and cared for. Having the hosts right there is a huge plus for this rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Eastport Maine

We both were very impressed with the suite. Not only was it very clean but nicely decorated. All kitchen and bath items that you would need nicely organized in draws and cupboards! Located right in the downtown and walkable to restaurants and stores. We met Greg, the owner, who was in his gallery below the suite and was very personable and knowledgeable about the town, his impressive photography is displayed as well as other artists in the gallery.

Fabulous Stay, Wonderful Hosts, Lovely Loft

Cannot say enough about our stay and the loft in Eastport. Greg and Cindy are wonderful hosts, the loft was as nice, cool and roomy as you would ever need, right on the water and a great central spot for us to do day coastal hikes. Best Of Eastport

Greg is AMAZING! From fast response to easing our worries. The Loft is so much better than you see in the pictures. Greg has EVERY thing you need. We have stayed at other places, but hands down, this has been the best. The only issue, is you won't want to leave. Best place to stay in Eastport. We can't wait to go back.

Elegant and spacious apartment

We loved this place! You can tell it was designed by an artist, Greg the owner who has a gallery downstairs. It’s beautifully appointed and decorated with his own art. I agree with the reviewer who said it looks like a spread for a high-end magazine. There are two living-room spaces, one with a television, both furnished with comfy sofas and chairs. Lots of light for reading. A second TV in the master bedroom. The kitchen is unusually well-equipped and even stocked with spices. You could do some serious cooking here. Or just relaxing. We travel a lot, and this is one of the best places we’ve ever rented.

Nice enough for Better Homes and Garden

The property is immaculate, and beautifully furnished. It could be mistaken for a staged magazine article. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The location is right in the heart of the historic district. This should be a go-to for any visit to Eastport.

Absolutely Fantastic Property!!!

The pictures are great but they don't do the condo justice! It was spacious, decorated so tastefully and often with original art. Everything was beautiful and the kitchen supplied with all new applicances and dishware. Located in downtown Eastport among shops and restaurants and across from the water. I can't say enough about this property. Thank you so much Greg and Carol!

I love to see new stuff, experience all I can in the time each of us is given. And as with most adventurers, we love to share with others the cool places we have been so they can share the same experience if they so choose. Especially new and undiscovered places to explore.

Eastport is indeed a secret place. Surrounded by water, totally off the grid, at the end of the road that is as far North and East as you can possibly travel in the USA. Where if you stay and visit with us for a week, you will likely be called by your first name as you walk down the street by locals by the end of the week.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Why visit Eastport? I mean it isn't really on the way to ..... well..... anywhere.

My point EXACTLY!!!

Haven't you learned yet that the best places to visit are the hardest to get too. Why is that? Perhaps because they have not yet been discovered by the crowds, they remain unspoiled, almost a time frozen community.

Here you can walk the streets completely unafraid................... of crowd lines, timelines, deadlines, or headlines. And instead focus more on sunrises, ocean breezes, whales tails, and boat to plate seafood, all preserved and gently wrapped in a friendly and relaxed community. No one cares if you are super rich, super poor, super famous or super secret. You will be accepted as part of the community, respecting your privacy as you relax to read the paper each morning while sipping some locally brewed Joe.

Eastport is a community full of outsiders. Not only do we have a wonderful mix of locals and people from "away" but more importantly, we are a community of people that prefer to spend as much time as we can "outside" vs inside. If you're an outsider at heart, finding yourself trapped inside somewhere, not to worry; you will find plenty to enjoy and do here.

Here we have unlimited pristine coastline providing great opportunities for ocean kayaking, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, whale watching, ocean tours, amazing coastal trails for the quick jaunt to the rocky coast or a challenging day exploring the diverse coastline with cliffs, crashing waves, and abundant photo-worthy opportunities at every turn.

I have traveled to Antarctica. It's amazing. And Eastport is a lot like Antarctica in many ways. The coast is still pristine and the people are genuine and will generously give of their time to share in some good conversation. And just like Antartica, although it does take some effort to get here, when you do get there you are so glad you did, wishing you came sooner and hope you get a chance to come back again.
