We enjoyed our days sightseeing the local areas and then coming back to the hot tub. We loved being out in the country. It was a very relaxing week. I love playing Pac-man. Jan has a very nice place to stay relaxed. Everything you need is there. He also recommended some local places to eat and to visit. We loved the chip factory and samples.

Such a beautiful home! My family enjoyed our stay very much. The house was super clean, beds were comfy, everything we needed and more! Close to all the activities we wanted to do. We will most definitely stay again and looking forward to it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view is amazing and the proximity to both the National Park and to Luray was a big draw for us.We took full advantage of the outdoors while we were here and our kids really enjoyed the game room when we returned.The only small gripes we had were about the kitchen and lack of dishwasher. Very small trade off.We would consider staying again.

What a lovely place! It was immaculately clean! We loved the hot tub, the pool table, and the Ms. Pac-Man! The little cabin was fun to explore also! In terms of location, we were close to shops, hikes, and restaurants!

My wife and I visit Luray every year for my birthday because we absolutely love tubing the Shenandoah River, and I have to say, this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!The host was fantastic—very communicative, sent us detailed check-in instructions a day ahead of time, and was quick to answer every question I had. The cabin itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.We always bring our golden-doodle with us, and she had an absolute blast retrieving her ball while we relaxed on the deck and enjoyed the incredible mountain views. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings, and there was plenty to keep us entertained after dark, including the pool table, Ms. Pac-Man, games, cards, and more.It was the perfect combination of relaxation, beautiful scenery, and fun. My wife and I are definitely looking forward to coming back!

This was our third stay at Southern Comfort Cabin. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We love the view from the deck, and the hot tub was a new addition since our last stay. Check in and check out was easy, and the host had great communication. The location was very convenient to hiking trails, Shenandoah National Park, and restaurants in Luray. We appreciate the cabin being dog friendly. Thank you for a wonderful extended weekend stay. We look forward to a return trip in the future!

This was an excellent stay. The home was spotless, comfortable, and in a beautiful location, but what stood out most was the host’s kindness and responsiveness. Every question—big or small—was answered quickly and helpfully, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the visit. We’re grateful for such a positive experience and would absolutely return.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! There was no shortage of entertainment, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing, and the mountain views were absolutely beautiful. The space was well thought out and made it easy to enjoy both downtime and fun. The host was incredibly kind and very communicative, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a memorable mountain getaway.

Property matched photos and listing. Jan was very attentive and communicated to us when needed.Location was ideal to hit Skyline Drive for hikes and dinner in downtown Luray.Also a great sunrise view while sitting in the living room!Would stay here again!
