Cozy and clean second floor studio with ocean view and a full kitchen. California king bed and queen sleeper sofa. Free wifi 5g. We are on the second/top floor with the vaulted ceiling, so you won't be bothered by noise because no one is above you; with a/c and ceiling fan as well. Beach gear, with a huge pool, hot tub and tennis court within the complex. Clean and good size laundry facility as well. Beach town dining and shopping just down the road, and 10 miles from Kahului for major chain store shopping. There is a view of the fishpond, windmills and whale sanctuary. Kihei road is busy during the day. Public transportation is nearby for those who prefer not to drive. There playgrounds and beaches nearby to enjoy, as well as an outdoor rollerskating rink, and the Kealia Pond national wildlife refuge. So many things to do in beautiful Kihei, all nearby for your pleasure.

We have cookware, hair dryer, utensils, dishes, cups, a steam iron, toaster, coffee maker, beach gear, DVD player, tv, cable, internet, blankets, pillows, bath and beach towels, and a security screen door so that now you can open the entry door and allow the wonderful maui breeze to flow through all day and night.

Kihei gem

Very comfortable and clean condo in Kehei with kitchen to make meals, fridge to store food and drinks, big bed, access to pool and hot tub, and beach park across the street. We enjoyed our stay very much, host was friendly and quick to respond to questions! Thanks Anthony

Pleasantly surprised

We stayed here and had a wonderful time. Honestly, I would rather have been here than any other properties due to the price and location. The room was wonderful. The hot tub and pool were nice also. On a side note- go across the street to the beach at night and see the sea turtles asleep there where about 50 of them every night.

Just enough for a couple.

The accommodations were just adequate for a couple. Perfect for a husband and wife. The location is good. If you stay here be sure to see the sea turtles across the road at the whale sanctuary.

Good option for those looking for a smaller/quieter place. Could use some updates

Pros:-Location was fantastic! Right across from a beach, in close proximity to a lot of things -Price was very fair, especially for Maui -Cute space and quiet neighbors Cons:-outdated interior, but unless you're wanting to watch a lot on TV, it shouldn't be a problem -Bathroom needs a major deep clean. Bathroom smelled very strongly of mold/mildew through the duration of our stay.Overall, a good experience! A few tweaks would make this property absolutely incredible but it's definitely a good choice for those wanting reasonably priced accommodations

Dirty but Cheap, Close to Beach

Pros:The location is great, across the street from a beach and a quick drive to restaurants and shopping. Has a well-maintained pool and hot tub.I felt safe to stay as a lone female traveler with my daughter.Cons:I am cool with older, modest accommodations but at least need it clean :/The rental was VERY dirty upon entering. All the dishes in the cabinets were dirty (actual food on them, coffee in the bottom of cups, weird fluid on the champagne glasses.) I had to wash all the dishes, cups, and utensils before we could use them. We had to sweep and clean floors from spills and dirt.The bed had hairs on it. We had to dust off as the laundry on site was not open to wash.The fans in the bathroom, above the bed, and the box fan that blows on you bedside have super caked-on dust and dirt.The bed frame is busted so the 2 pieces of frame slide apart and you have to push them back every day so you don't roll in the middle.There was no parking pass.We reached out to the host to inform them of the cleanliness and missing pass as we didn't want to be towed/get a ticket or be charged for things that were broken or dirty. We sent picsThey told us to write the unit # on a paper and put it in the car in lieu of the pass. We asked if there could be a partial refund due to having to clean the unit ourselves-the only offer regarding the cleaning was to have the on-island gal come and sweep the floors.They did not work with VRBO support regarding this either.

Kihei visit

The location was great. Right across the street was a sweet, quiet beach with an artificial break water that has become a delightful reef. Great for snorkelling and the turtles were always there.The bed was a king and very comfortable.The kitchenette was sufficiently stocked although only 1 tea towel was left and no pot holders or oven mitts. Cleanliness was good. However, a mat at the balcony door would be useful as a lot of sand blows in onto the balcony floor then tracked in. The fans need a good clean and the one in the bathroom had a bad smell coming from it.There were many nice amenities like masks and snorkels, beach chair and umbrellas, and chilly bins to take to the beach. Tourist info and maps were appreciated. Parking was always obtained right outside the unit. It could be very noisy as the unit faces a very busy street. We enjoyed our stay.

Property was not clean, with torn/missing linens. Owner probably had no idea that his place had been neglected by cleaner... We Changed to a new place and he got us a refund. A/C band-aid is not adequate.

Lovely tropical getaway close to beach

We loved this condo near the beach for sunsets, the whale sanctuary, and a short drive to produce markets, hikes, Foodland for poke’, nature preserves, upcountry, restaurants, and so much more. The well stocked kitchen and thoughtful items like beach gear, cooler, spices, etc were so helpful to us!

Some good some disappointing

Good bed, great pool, porch noisy ( right in busy road)& hadn’t been cleaned, room was clean but several items were fraying, one burner not working- nice beach materials, but no soap for handwashing.

Perfect for the price

Great little spot. Was a little bit concerned with some of the reviews being mixed but it was everything you could need with a stay. Water pressure worked just fine, even though it’s on Kihei road it’s not too loud, and a/c with the box fan worked great. No complaints at all especially with the deal you’re getting

Nice unit in great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this studio apartment. It was clean and very well equipped (kitchen utensils, beach equipment, extra towels etc). In addition, the location was very good, close to some of the nicest beaches in the island and to many places to eat.

Relaxing stay!

Liked the location, very central to all the island. Was able to visit all parts of Maui by taking day trips to different locations and used Condo in Kihei as home base. Beach across the street was a big plus as well.

Apartment Is Decent.

Listing hosts advertised unit as having air conditioning. There was no working AC unit. The vent from the window. Anything could fly inside the apartment. It felt like a hot sauna in the room. Very uncomfortable. Vrbo needs to preview the previous negative reviews on this listing from other complaints.

North Kihei studio condo stay

I’ll start with the positives about this studio condo stay… its location across from North Kihei beaches is the best thing about this stay. The condo is clean and includes the basic beach outing (chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler) and cooking supplies (kitchen and outdoor grilling). It has cable TV and good WiFi service. There is an onsite laundry facility, bbq grills, pool, tennis court. The negatives are… the room AC unit does not work and the small fan provided is noisy. If you leave the balcony door open, the street noise directly in front of the condo is loud all day/night long. The ceiling fan works, but does not cool entire room well enough. I left the front door and balcony door open when temperature inside became unbearable - for better cross flow. I directed box fan at bed to stay cool at night. This side of beach has high winds daily after 4pm, so beach sand is constantly blowing into condo from open balcony door. I managed to enjoy my stay, but would not have rented this condo if I had known that the AC unit did not work at all and I’d have to leave front and balcony doors open to stay cool. The front door does have a lockable iron gate on it. In summary, if you are fine with knowing these derails, this condo rental is a good value.

Good for short stays.

We just needed a quick cheap stay for our two day island hop. It was in a safe neighborhood that was close to shops, restaurants and the beach plus free parking. The hot tub is a great plus! On the downsides the bathroom smelled and the tub drained very slow when taking a shower. The shower head couldn’t be moved and the water pressure was poor. We wanted to use the provided cooler but when we went to put our items in it stinked horribly so we just went and bought our own cooler bag. Lastly, the floors were very dirty we had to walk around with socks on since we entered the property. We don’t walk past the door with our shoes even at home so this was very disappointing. Great location and stay for a very short trip if you only need a bed to sleep.

Great location across from beach in Kihei

This condo had a great location, comfortable king sized bed and all the basics. The only drawback was that it was a little worn and pillows were not comfortable. Great value.

I grew up and went to school on the east coast. After a vacation to California, I decided to make it my home. Since moving to California, we have been vacationing in Maui for about 12 years, and the very first time we knew we would live there someday. This condo is now our home away from home. We have two adorable toddlers. Before they were born, we engaged in a 10 year search for the perfect place to call home in Maui. But when our children were born and after seeing their love and enjoyment for Maui, and with an enchanted stroke of luck, i found our second home. we are anxious to share the aloha spirit with my guests, and hope that you will feel the magic I felt the very first time I stepped foot on the island. I hope our guests will feel the love our family has for our home.

We began looking for a second home from the first time we set foot on Maui. We stayed in other parts of the island, including Napili and Kaanapali. We found Kihei to feel more like a family oriented paradise in a small beach resort town, located centrally allowing easy access to many points of interest. Our home is across Kihei Road from the ancient Koieie Fish Pond, and the Whale Sanctuary. We have an ocean view, that will only get better when the palm tree grows just a little bigger! We found that as return visitors, accessibility to the airport, shopping, dining, and other beaches, is very important to living in Maui.
