Kona Bay Oceanfront Home close to Town & Shopping

During the guest stay at the house we were never contacted with any issues. Upon departure the house was left in unsatisfactory condition per the contract and guest was charged an extra $75.00 for cleaning. At this point we received the negative review. Every towel in the house was used and thrown in a tub. Some of the towels were so stained they had to be replaced. The contract states previous nights linens, and previous nights and departure day towels may be left for cleaners Every towel in the house was used and left. Beach sand was found in both bathroom sinks, and trash was overflowing the container and had to be removed and placed in a separate container for pick up. There was a type-0 under amenities where queen bed was put in twice for 2nd bedroom. However, on the home page the property is described as a 2bdrm with a king in master and a queen in 2nd bedroom. There are 31 pictures of the property with one showing clearly the 2nd bedroom with one queen bed. The guests had 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. With the 2 bunkbeds there should have been no issue with sleeping accomodations. This is one of our most popular properties and is full of 5 star ratings. The owners have spent a great deal of time upgrading the property over the last 2 years and guest reviews show their pleasure upon arriving. Lastly, our cleaning company is one of the best in the business and prearrival checks done by our staff consistantly show their professionalism.
