Place is nice enough, but a couple of issues:1- The shower had very weak water pressure. Almost to the point of the water simply draining out of the shower head. 2- The shower has a metal shower caddy that is rusty and needs to be replaced. 3- The only lighting for the bed area is a wobbly floor lamp that leans. 4- Window that faces east has no curtain or other covering. Be prepared to wake up bright and early when sunlight shines through at sunrise.

Great location

Perfect for 2 people, right on the beach and walking distance to many places. Will definitely stay again.

Completely quiet

The Cabana was about 98% perfect. 1% was that you HAVE TO bring queen sheets/covers for the bed, paper towels, toilet paper, shower/beach towels, dish soap and towels. Should really consider changing it from "encouraged to" to "You are required to"! The other 1% was when someone would walk up to the top deck the whole cabana would sway. Imagine sitting on the toilet and you're swaying. Oh and watch out for splinters. Spent 3 hours the first night doing surgery on my husband's foot: digging an inch splinter out of his foot that kept breaking off. Don't get me wrong, we will stay here again. The view was great, watching the sky at night, and storms out on the water. Go out on the beach at night, minimal light pollution. Perfect for sky watching. Watch out for those ghost crabs, they are every where at night. We seen several shooting stars with the milky way, a waterspout, several types of crabs. Catching the sand crabs was fun. We had a great time! Will be back in the future.

We're thrilled to hear about all the memories created at our cabanas and our beaches. There's nothing like getting away with the family and also getting to enjoy some quiet and clean air and watching the sky at night. For our staff and guests' protection (especially during Covid) we do not provide sheets for our beds at any of our properties. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and we bhope to see you all very soon!

Close to Beach

The cabana is located just over the dunes from the beach. Once you are there, the car can stay perked if you goal is to enjoy the wonderful beach. The porches are an important feature since the interior of these cabanas is very small. The kitchen had plenty of dish ware and pots and pans. There are even baking pans if you get inspired! And a crockpot for lazy meals! The only drawback to this cabana is that the bed is very high. I had to climb into it by using the footboard as a step.

Great place to stay! What a wonderful time we had.

A wonderful experience! The cabana was amazing, had everything we needed and was so close to the beach! It was pet friendly so we brought our dog and it was easy to tell that he loved it too... Couldn’t have asked for a better place to vacation.

Great property fun time on Hatteras Island. Very quite only a few steps to the uncrowned beach we will stay here again!!
