Directly Across The Street From Grand Haven State Park, View Of Pier/Lighthouse

kite festival weekend just opened up in may! Our Cottage is directly across from the state park in Grand Haven. 5 bedroom, 2 bath home directly across the street from the state park. 2016 lower level renovated and bathrooms 2017, make this cottage the perfect location with all the modern conveniences. The upper-level renovation was just completed in March of 2022 with updated decor, bedding, and new carpet.

We book from Saturday to Saturday all summer. We also book long weekends or a minimum of 2 days for the rest of the year. It is the perfect getaway year-round. In the summer you are steps away from the beach and in the fall and winter watch waves crash into the pier and lighthouse from the front four season room. The main floor has new appliances including a washer and dryer. Marble counters with snack bar, wood plank flooring, and shiplap walls.

Huge deck with picnic table and gas grill with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. We are thrilled to present La Dolce Vita. Please email or call with questions.

We were in town for a wedding, the venue was walking distance. The access to the beach was as close as you can get! Great space for a large group.

Great stay for a graduation weekend

Home is Cottage cute and close to the beach. Bathrooms are very small but everything you need for a fun time at the beach. Would recommend for a family or small group.

A Week at the Beach

A nice home located across the street from Grand Haven State Park. Great beach access and a five minute bike ride to downtown GH. Very well maintained, very clean and very liveable for our extended family. Nice neighbors as well.

Weekend away

Fantastic place with great accessibility to the beach right across the street. The home was equipped with everything we needed and was neat and clean. Enjoyed waking up and sitting on the deck taking in the views of Lake Michigan!

Grand Haven Summer Vacation!

Cute and close to everything

Cottage was everything we needed. Plenty of sleeping room for the six of us. Lake Michigan view and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our stay was in the fall and the trees were beautiful. Definitely recommend.

We love this house!

This is the 2nd year we rented this house! The location can't be beat, being right across the beach is the best! The house is adorable and fit us perfectly with room to spare - we had 4 adults and 2 toddlers...plenty of space for everyone! We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful experience and location

Great house and amenities, wonderful location and communication with the owners. Worked with me from the very start and at the end of the stay. My family of 9 stayed for a weekend and this was our first time at this house. We had plenty of room enjoyed the deck and other amenities. Would recommend and would stay again forsure. Thank you!

Loved the location, it was very convenient to all of our interests.

It was perfect and fit most of our needs. One item that I would of loved to see is a permanent hand rail in one of the showers. It seems like a little thing to bring up, but for us older folks, it is a big deal. The parking was perfect and getting in and out was wonderful. Overall, I would rent again and had a wonderful time.

Great cottage, great location!

This rental was a marvelous choice for the five of us who gathered for an annual reunion. The cottage was extremely clean and Stacey made sure all the amenities were there. Nothing was lacking! Without a doubt, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this place again. Thank you, Stacey, for providing this amazing cottage. Both the cottage and the view were appreciated gifts!

Perfect location!

This was our second year staying at this cottage. It is a wonderful place for our family reunion of 6 adults and 3 small children. It is well stocked from everything you need in the kitchen to sand toys for the beach. The location is the best! The cottage is directly across from the state park beach and pier. It is also within walking distance to the boardwalk and downtown. Trolley pickup is near by. Check in and check out were easy and Stacey and Dennis were wonderful hosts.

Amazing house in an amazing location!

Beautiful home with several bedrooms upstairs. First floor has a wonderful family room and sunporch with views of the lake across the street. Stayed at the house with 7 girlfriends for a Fall girls weekend. Plenty of space would only recommend additional utensils, plates, coffee cups, wine glasses. We only had 7 forks, two wine glass and maybe 5 coffee mugs. I would also recommend adding a warmer comforter to the beds given the drop in temperature.

Family & Friends Dream Getaway

I visited this wonderful beach house for a weekend in early May 2016 -- ten friends and family members gathered together for a fun weekend by Lake Michigan. It was perfect. The accommodations are fantastic and the location & views are even better! 1) A spacious deck for hanging out, grilling, and enjoying the scenery. 2) A gorgeous and fully appointed kitchen, fit for entertaining and preparing group meals. 3) Awesome living room and sunroom with plenty of couches and chairs. 4) Friendly owners who are very helpful and easy to work with!!! Thanks for a great weekend -- we will be back!

Amazing property

We had an excellent stay at this property, check in was easy, with concise, clear instructions on what to expect. The house is perfectly located and had versatile options for sleeping arrangements for my large family (9 adults)! The beds were comfy and the views were stellar. Every room had electric fans which made sleeping pleasant (pillows were hit or miss, as mentioned another review, but sufficient). There is a washer and dryer on site, was very useful for our weeklong stay. My only wish would be a hairdryer. But the house is directly across from the beach! We walked the pier, walked i to town, walked to the bil-mar, perfect location. Perfect beach house! Thank you!

Sunset view!

Beautiful sunsets from your spacious private deck, or an easy walk to the waters edge. We were 4 women on our 31st annual getaway and love the town of Grand Haven. From shopping, to cocktails in the sand at Notos, to morning coffee in the sun room we enjoyed our time in GH. The house location is perfect for the beach and only about a mile from town, easily walked. As mentioned in previous reviews the downstairs is remodeled and lovely. The upstairs could use a thorough updating and carpet cleaning. Also as mentioned there are a variety of pillows but many that could be replaced. Shower vents and throw rugs could use some cleaning. All said we enjoyed our time and a bit of attention to detail would make this five stars.

Wonderful Girls Weekend!

We were a group of 6 that had a great time while celebrating a milestone birthday! The location was awesome and we arrived just in time to head to the beach and watch a beautiful sunset. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and we used every amenity, including the mud room! It doubled as a walk in cooler for our extra food since it’s was pretty cold during our visit. We cooked during our stay and was pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Several of us in the group commented on coming back during the summer and staying here again. The owners were also very easy to communicate with. The VRBO messaging wasn’t working and they were happy to communicate by text. Thank you for sharing your sweet home with us!

You will love this property from the moment you pull in the large parking area equipped for 4 cars. You are directly across the street from the state park without any steps in your way. The family room opens to the dining room and kitchen with a snack bar. The sunroom is my favorite room in the house where you can people-watch in the summer or watch the waves crash onto the shore and against the pier in the windy fall and winter season. With 5 bedrooms and 2 baths, there is room to sleep 10 privately and comfortably.
