In the heart of the hip casual coastal town of Encinitas and within walking distance to incredible restaurants. Historic Hwy 101 and pristine beaches are only a 2 minute walk away.

This gorgeous home in a high-end neighborhood has recent interior/exterior and tastefully furnished. it is perfect for families and couples. Pet Friendly.

Stairs to the beach are less than 1/2 block away. This home has one of the largest oceanfront entertaining areas on Neptune Avenue.

Enjoy the incredible view on an expansive shaded deck or watch the sunset on lounge chairs and outdoor dining area. The deck features a BBQ Grill, fire pit, lounge chairs, couch, dining table and outdoor shower.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups and families. Our rental agreement and the city of Encinitas have a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before inquiring about the property. This home is located on the 2nd floor. There are two sets of stairs leading to the main entrance of the home.

There is a separate 1 bedroom/1 bath with kitchen, living room and laundry (mother in law apartment) downstairs with it's own private fenced front yard. There are no common areas. This space is currently occupied and not available for rent.

No weddings or receptions are allowed on the property. Maximum number of guests sleeping in home is 6 people for 2 bedroom and 2 people the 1 bedroom downstairs.

Wonderful Stay

We had a very nice stay for our Christmas vacation. The house was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and on our last morning there we saw lots of dolphins swimming right behind the house. It was awesome! The host was very helpful with information if we needed it and had a fast response time. We didn't have any issues with the house. We couldn't figure the TV out at first because there is no cable. It only has streaming capabilities, so we just watch Netflix and Youtube at night. We loved the location because it was close to everything. We rented a car, and it was not a far drive to San Diego. The parking outside the house wasn't a problem and we had a large SUV. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub which I was thrilled because that is what I have at home. It looks very old, and I would imagine it was the original one when the house was built but it worked, and I enjoyed taking hot baths. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Holiday Stay in Encinitas

Great outdoor space with plenty of seating, tables, views, sunsets and night skies, all with the comforting warmth of the firepit. The constant sound of waves, pods of dolphins and distant ship traffic made the stay even more memorable. This VRBO had one of the cleanest gas grills that I've seen in years. Walkability score was high with easy access to the Beach and Downtown shopping and restaurants. Finally, Prager Brothers Artisan Bread is a must, but they sell out early.

Heaven on Earth

The photos did not lie. It was absolutely beautiful. My mom who is 83 sat mostly on the top patio due to Mobility issues. We sat by the fire pit so we could see the white water. The patio furniture was nice and comfortable. We used the barbecue and it worked great. We cooked quite a few meals and this place was the most stocked I have ever seen. We stay on average of 3 vacation rentals per year. Even down to toilet paper paper towels and laundry detergent. They even had magic eraser’s. The beds were incredibly comfortable and being able to lay in bed and watch the ocean was incredible. Our fur babies loved the place. The back yard was completely fenced. There are 3 flights of steps leading to the main house but once you are in the house it’s all one level. The sunsets were amazing and we did get to see dolphins. We walked the beach as access to stone step stairs leading down to the beach is only a few houses away. This home is a 10 out of 10 and we are already Planning our trip for next year as we take my mom to California every year for her birthday. planning our trip for nextaway.

Sounds of Ocean Waves

Nothing beats sleeping with the slider open, falling asleep to the sounds of ocean waves. Perfect set up for a week of relaxation. Such a fun trip with a terrific home base. The house had everything we needed and the backyard worked perfect for our doodle dogs. Plus the downstairs neighbor couldn’t have been nicer. We can’t forget to mention the location. So close to restaurants, etc. Looking forward to staying again.

Amazing view and close to beach access!

This property is amazing! The view is incredible and the beach access is a 2 min walk. It's close to Leucadia and Encinitas restaurants and close to the highway as well. The Prop Manager is very communicative. Highly recommended!

Great vacation spot!

We had an excellent stay at this property. We've stayed in the neighborhood the last 5 years and this was the best spot. The neighborhood is nice with great access to the beach. The deck offers a great view and living space during the day or night. Everything was clean and the kitchen was spacious and stocked with everything we needed to cook. Finally, the owner was attentive and professional before and during our stay. We would definitely return to this house in the future!!

Beautiful View!

This was our second time staying at this home and again had a wonderful stay! The home is clean and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The host is very helpful and responds right away. The best part is the view! Your backyard is the ocean with beautiful sunsets. Will come back for a third time!

Amazing view, great neighborhood, cute & cozy house

What a find! We already miss sitting on the comfy patio chairs staring at the ocean all day. And the sunsets were spectacular! The two-tiered patio was huge, with plenty of seating, lounge chairs for tanning, and a full outdoor table for al fresco dining. We didn’t happen to use the fire pit but next time would try it for sure. The home was cute & cozy, with awesome ocean views from the living room & kitchen as well as the main bedroom! Great kitchen, with an incredible stove that would have been fun to cook on but we ended up getting delivery every night (plenty of local options). I especially appreciated the abundance of supplies such as paper towels & such, which made it so easy on us. Stefanie was a pleasure to communicate with throughout, so responsive, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, and getting delicious coffees & pastries at nearby Pannikin. Couldn’t access Stonesteps Beach because of a major project on the shore right now & Moonlight was also closed, but honestly we had a better view from the oceanfront patio & the house! Open beaches were a short drive away. There are stairs to get up to the house, just to note that for anyone with mobility concerns or for bringing an older large dog. But we had no trouble at all with them despite our bad knees! We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back! Thanks for everything Stefanie!

Delighted

What a great spot. House was as advertised. We LOVED the view. Walks on the beach, sitting by the fire pit, sunsets are spectacular, view from the master bedroom is memorable. Kitchen is well appointed. Street parking is easy. Can't wait to go back.

Our favorite place to stay!

This little beach home is our very favorite place to stay! We keep coming back with our family year after year. It is in a great location (steps away from beach access), it is just the right size for our family of 5, and it has unbeatable view of the ocean!

Great house in Encinitas

Spent about a week with my family of 4 in Encinitas. The view from the house is absolutely amazing. We spent most of the time on the back patio and our dogs loved it! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back.

Gorgeous Cliffside Retreat

We stay in Encinitas often, and finding Stefanie's cliffside retreat made the weekend even more amazing. The pelicans flew over the beautiful patio multiple times a day and the dolphins would swim by frequently, too. The yard is perfect for a visiting pet and the family to relax. The inside is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. It's a quiet neighborhood next to all the good restaurants and great walking to Beacon's or Grandview (surf spots)! Thank you so much for the perfect stay!

Rent for the view, stay for the comfort and quiet

Amazing home with all the comforts of home! This home was perfect for 4 adults. We had perfect 65 degree weather and views that are just spectacular (especially the sunsets). We stayed on the back deck most of the time, enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean, and the ocean life that arrived each day. We saw pods of dolphins every day, seals, and lots of bird life. When you turn on the outdoor fire pit, you can sit and enjoy the view for hours. The house had everything we needed for 3 nights on the coast. It was convenient for walking to the beach, although the beach is very rocky, so not likely where you would take kids to play in the ocean. Carlsbad is much better suited for that. We did not get in the ocean or use the boogie boards provided at the house. Perhaps if it was warmer we may have given it a try. Stephanie was a pleasure to communicate with and was always very gracious before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much Stephanie for renting to us!

Beautiful View!

We stayed in this beautiful house for my husband's 70th birthday. We had a great time! The house sits on a cliff with a beautiful view! There is a fire pit and plenty of outdoor seats to enjoy the view and sunset. The house is clean, comfortable, and has an updated kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and other things you would need to cook up a great meal. The beds are comfortable too. The neighbor who lives below is quiet and very nice. She knows where everything is in the surrounding neighborhood. The owner of the property is very easy to work with and answers questions right away. Overall, I give this place 5 stars and hopefully we can go back in the near future.

Dolphins, Sunsets, Amazing view

This property is a very special place. We loved having our coffee on the back patio watching dolphins, surfers, even a fun group of endurance swimmers. The kitchen has everything you need. Peaceful sleep with the sound of the ocean in your bedroom. The owner was very accommodating , kind and easy to get ahold of anytime. We hope to come back soon.

Amazing Beach House

This is such an amazing property. The house is in a great area of town so close to everything but the neighborhood itself is very quiet and relaxing. The home has all you need in every room. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are very cozy. We were there in the heat wave and really appreciated the AC and the ceiling fans! The backyard view is so beautiful...watching the sunset was my favorite thing to do. We arrived earlier than expected and I text about a early check in....was contacted a few minutes later and allowed to go early. Great Communication thru the whole stay. I only wished I had booked a longer stay!

Grandkids Trip

Property was easy to rent. Property was pretty much as advertised. The views are amazing. The beach very accessible. Four adults and two children are the max. Good access to S.D. Property manager easy to connect with when needed. Family enjoyed the property very much.
