This is a house meant for family entertainment - so fun! We played pool with our kids, got refreshed IN the pool, and had an easy walk to the beach. It was so helpful to have a lot of beach equipment available to us so we didn’t have to pack it. The kitchen was well-equipped and fun to cook in. Comfortable, beautiful, clean, and convenient to the beach…we felt at home and wish we could have stayed longer.

You cant beat the prime location. Its in an ideal location very close to the beach This is our 5th visit in the same area and we thoroughly enjoyed The house is exactly how its described and they put a new music system throughout the house that you can access with your phone. The owners did a great job keeping up the house. There were a few minor updates that owners addressed with normal wear and tear.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's on a quiet dead end street with very little traffic, and a short walk to the beach. The pool, pool table, ping pong, and music system gave us plenty of fun things to do in addition to the beach, which was never crowded. There is a great side road which is perfect for walks or bikes. The two bedrooms on the main floor have a door that can be shut which keeps the noise out from people in the kitchen. The kitchen was very well stocked with all that you could need. The owners response time is very quick. It was a very relaxing vacation and we would definitely stay there again!

We are repeat customers! Our family of 6 was back again for a beach vacation. The home works out perfectly for our family. We have 4 young adult children who enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach. The house is spacious enough that the kids can spread out when they want some quiet and gather for family fun in the basement with the pool table or main living area. The location is an easy drive to a variety of restaurants, shopping, and activities. We love the quiet and peaceful neighborhood in the northern part of Virginia Beach. The house comes with everything needed for a family vacation and is very clean and felt like home! The owners are very responsive to messages and the neighbors are all very friendly. This is an ideal house for a family with older kids, we would definitely recommend this house to others!

Great house

Beautiful, clean, and well appointed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Easily the nicest beach rental we have experienced in Va. Beach. The home is stylishly decorated with quality furnishings. Mattress quality is good and kitchen is well equipped. We will certainly rent again when we are in the area!

Great time at the beach

We had a wonderful time at the house with our family (including two young kids). The house is just a short few blocks from the beach and comes fully equipped with just about anything you’ll need— including beach gear. The pool too was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

So enjoyable

Very nice place. Very clean, very quiet, and very convenient to the beach as well as the downtown area. The sound system was so nice and we utilized it the entire week. Communication with the property manager could not have been better.

Family Celebration

This property is perfect for large families to relax ,enjoy all the amenities that Maria offers in her beautiful home. All the rooms are beautifully appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with whatever appliance you may need. Maria has also supplied many options for fun activities and the location is great (2 blocks from the beach)with ample parking. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Vacation July 2023

The home was very nice! Nice size pool in the back yard. Beach is a 5 minute walk, with a nice cart in the garage for your beach necessities. Bedrooms are nice, especially the king bedroom. Lots of room in the house too!

Quiet residential neighborhood. Beautiful beach house. Plenty of room. Very thoughtfully laid out. House had all amenities needed for beach. Well stocked kitchen. Something for everyone. Pool, covered porches, patios, pool table, ping pong table. Really fun stay! Owner was very responsive.Hope to be back!

Fantastic vacation house

This was a perfect beach vacation house for our family! We had two adults and 4 adult children. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool table and swimming pool were a big hit. The house was very clean and stocked with what we needed. The beach cart made the short walk to the beach even easier. It was a short drive to stores and restaurants. The owner was quick to respond and we had everything needed to enjoy a week of family time.

Spacious and beautiful

Beautiful luminous, spacious well laid out and fully equipped house with comfortable social areas scattered throughout. Perfect for extended family. Upstairs master suite is stunning, luxurious. Main second floor has a bedroom with a full/double for parent and a happy room for 2 kids.

Great House, ideal location

Very well appointed house. Ample size for 10 or more though we were only 3. Great kitchen, nice furniture throughout. Pool was a nice size for the 3 of us. All very clean. Walk to beach was 5 min max and the house came with a great buggy to pull our stuff (and our 1 year old!). Highly recommend for families or moderately sized groups.

Great beach stay!

Had a wonderful stay. House was exactly as described, spotless, and beautifully appointed. Loved the pool and all the outdoor seating. Just a quick walk to a very clean and quiet beach (note you do have to cross a busy street). Far enough away from the downtown area to be peaceful but quick enough to get there to enjoy the boardwalk. Lots of little touches in the house to make it kid/teen friendly like the music system, games, etc. having the second washer/dryer was genius. host was super responsive to questions. Even our pup had a blast!

Beautiful home

This is a well-decorated home which does not feel like a typical beach house. The pool is wonderful and really allows you to extend your day after time on the beach. The home is on a very quiet street which worked well for my three girls and myself. It may not be a great fit for a larger, louder family as the neighbors are very watchful (and not all are friendly). This property may be best for a well-behaved group of older adults. Very pretty house!

My husband owned this property before we were married and in 2004 we tore down the old beach cottage and built our forever home. But as is often the case in life things change! In 2017, after raising our kids there, we decided to downsize and move across town. Our children, who are 10 and 12 were not thrilled, but it was a new adventure and we decided we just couldn't bring ourselves to sell our "forever" home. So we decided to join the VRBO family of homes.

Our close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and being a part of the prestigious "North End" provided us with a safe family neighborhood. The feeder road, which parallels Atlantic Avenue, provides a great place to walk or teach a little one to ride a bike. It connects the neighborhoods together and gives our community that family feeling.

This home has been our life for the last 12-13 years and my husband and have loved living here so much that we wanted to share it with more families. We actually made our decision to do so while sitting on the second floor deck listening to the waves crashing one evening while sipping a nice glass of wine. It was a tough decision, but we felt it was the right one. We hope that given all the custom features we have built into the house, your stay is a memorable one. Truly, if my husband thought about it during the construction, he installed it! We have shared a fabulous life in this home together, there are only good vibes in "Summer Breeze"!
