Excellent property, hosts, and location. The cabin is so cozy. All of the windows make it feel like you’re living in the forest. The cabin had everything we needed for a great week in Tofino.

Great cabin near Cox Bay

The Surfcabin was perfect for our family vacation. The check-in was smooth, the location was perfect, and the cozy atmosphere in the cabin was calming and welcoming. Loved the view from the downstairs bedroom! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us!

Family Time

Took our relatives who ranged from 90 yrs to 79 yrs old to Tofino for their first time. They were amazed. Great cozy cabin to hang out and get some quality family time in.

Great location

My husband and our 2 dogs loved our stay. It was a spacious and comfortable home and 10 min walk to Cox Bay. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Wooded Oasis

This was a really nice vacation home. The home is nestled in the woods on the main road to Tofino -- across the road from Cox Bay. It was a perfect spot for our Tofino visit. Thank you!

Best beach vacay spot!

We loved everything about the house. Location was fabulous, beaches were totally accessible (10-15 min walk), furniture was comfortable, everything was clean, outside deck was lovely, and it was fully stocked for all of our home cooking. Also loved all the local soaps in the house. We went and bought some! Zero complaints.

Fantastic location

Great place to stay, was appropriate for our family of three but could have hosted a few more people comfortably. Not sure about the cleaner as the floors were pretty sandy on arrival and the front door was unlocked. But otherwise the place was tidy and well equipped.

Cabin in the rainforest

A roomy 2 bed and den, two bath cabin. Not far from 2 excellent beaches. We cooked Christmas dinner here with no trouble, could use a few more bowls there was only 4 and two were cracked, no serving spoons either, but other than that a pretty well equipped kitchen, nice easy to use gas range and big fridge freezer. Owner contacted us on arrival to see if we were finding it alright.

Short n Sweet two night weekend

Lovely for six adults. No sheet for the 3rd bed. Heated floors a blessing. Temp about right even with downpours. Loved the miss covered tree Fort atmosphere. For a big tall guy sinks and shower size a temporary trial🤗

Beautiful Trees. Couch, not bed.

We enjoyed the location of this stay - great forest views, easy access to Tofino and Ucluelet. The kitchen had good amenities which was helpful since we ate in most meals during our stay. We were disappointed to see that the bed that was shown in the loft (in the photos upon booking and still showed that way during our stay) was no longer a bed but rather had been replaced with a pull-out couch, which was very uncomfortable. We needed that space to sleep for our family so there was no option not to use it and we likely would not have booked this location knowing it wasn't a bed. We stayed for a week so the length of the uncomfortable bed was considerable.

Living in the rainforest

This is a splendid house, tucked right into the forest. The living room picture in the listing doesn’t do it justice. The over stuffed sofas and chairs are gone replaced by a lovely L shaped leather couch. The house is modern, comfortable and very well designed. Lots of windows and skylights. Beds are comfy. Perfectly situated between the park and the town and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach. An absolutely perfect spot for nature lovers.

Week in Tofino

We enjoyed our stay, there was a couple small cleanliness things (a couple dirty dishes in cupboards, the tub had some nature in it, that sort of idea), but overall we had a relaxing week. Easy enough to sort out👍Since we had our dog, we used the downstairs only because dogs are to remain on the lower floor. That meant we used the downstairs shower which left something to be desired. We also found the lack of window coverings to be a bit of a surprise, at least in the bedrooms/bathrooms. We adjusted and it was all just fine! Beaches were close, Tofino town was close enough with a small grocery store and coffee shop even closer. Easy enough to pop down to Ucluelet in under a half hour. Great location, especially if you want to have a quiet space all to yourself after a day filled with nature and exploring. I would stay here again!

Cool Cabin in the woods!

We enjoyed our stay in the fantastic Surf Cabin in the woods. It is impressive as you arrive and walk in. We loved all the windows and seeing the outside/inside and the open plan living. It is decorated differently to what it was advertised, so I think that should be changed as we booked it for how it was decorated too. It had most of the things that you needed but not beach towels and it is surf cabin! There were leaflets and I got great recommendations when I contacted the owner Asia. Thank you. Wine glasses would be great as there wasn't any and if you want to drink wine or Aperol spritzers then it would be great. The sofa bed was not comfortable for my adult daughter but our bed was. Having the reusable toiletries to use was great. There should be some lights from the road to see the entrance at night and something distinctive to see during the day as we missed the entrance several times. We had to look out for the other side of the road to see the flags as our guide to our entrance. Tofino is a great place to explore and this cabin was a great location to do so. We would recommend it. Schooner restaurant for a special meal and Shelter for everything else ,were great places to eat! Beach chairs and an umbrella would also be welcome extras to use as it is in a beach/ surf area and for myself personally having Lupus, I have to protect myself from the sun and UV rays and children would need it. Unfortunately beach umbrellas don't fit in suitcases. We had a great time.

the only problem was that the propane bottle was empty when we wanted to bbq a salmon. We had to take the propane bottle from the camper of a friend.

Escape to Tofino

It is lovely! Funky, quiet and very comfortable, for ourselves another couple and the dog! Very well equipped and two full bathroomsAll we needed. Close to all amenities and beaches and very clean. All we could possibly need. We will be back, thank you!

Everything We Hoped For

This cozy getaway was exactly what we anticipated! The location is excellent with easy access to walking trails, beach, coffee shops, restaurants and groceries, yet it's nestled away in the woods with privacy. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with everything we needed for cooking. We hope to return again as Tofino has so much to explore!

I chose this property because i wanted to live close to the beach and be in the forest. There is something special about living in this old growth forest surround by ancient trees and moss.
