The Woodside Lodge #2 is a modest comfortable 2 bedroom suite in downtown Homer. Walking distance from museums, galleries, shops, restaurants and Bishop's Beach. This two bedroom suite has a queen bed in one room with a queen and a doubl bed in the other with a twin bed overhead (bunk style), 1.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, cable TV, internet, coffee and tea.
There is a partial view of Kachemak Bay and the snow topped mountains and volcanoes across the Bay. This is a great property for those who enjoy a quiet comfortable nights sleep and want the ability to do their own cooking. Located on a quiet street with no through traffic. Living room area is big and open with plenty of room to relax.

We might not be the fanciest place in town but we are the friendliest and our rooms are the cleanest. We believe in goodwill and hospitality, vacations that count, and making everyday an adventure. Our friendly staff at the Driftwood will save you time, help you make everyday count and treat you like family. We enjoy accommodating a broad range of guests from large families, fishermen and independent travelers on a budget. If we don't have what you need we will point you in the right direction. There isn't another lodge in Homer that is closer to all Homer has to offer and gives each guest the privacy of home. The Woodside is in a quite neighborhood with no through traffic with plenty of free parking, great for large vehicles or boat trailers. The property offers partial views of beautiful Kachemak Bay and is walking distance to so many attractions including the Museum, Art Galleries, Shops, Dining and both Visitor Centers. The kitchen is stocked with all you will need to cook your own meals, from pots and pans to cooking utensils.

Pioneer Ave is right out your front door where you will find many restaurants, galleries and shops each carrying many local Homer and Alaskan made gifts. A short 5 minute drive and you are on the Homer Spit. Want to go fishing, bear viewing or across the Kachemak Bay to hike and explore we would be happy to book you on these excursions. We can also book you on bear viewing tours to world renowned Katmai National Park.
