This was a great house for myself and family. I love to fish, I was able to bring my boat. The weather wasn't that great but because of the dock I fished everyday. My wife and dogs could be cozy in the house why I fished on the dock. If we come back to this area we will definitely rent this house again.

We loved our stay so much we've already booked for 2027 3 This is a very special property and has one of the best views and locations in the area. The house is fully stocked, above and beyond, and sits on a very large parcel of land that you can explore and ride bikes around. We enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding, the square footage was way beyond what we needed for our family of 5, so the experience felt very resort-like (without the public!). Thank you for a lovely stay

Absolutely beautiful house with amazing views! Great communication, everything you could ask for was provided. Kitchen was beyond well-stocked. We appreciated the space to spread out and be together. The pool/hot tub was so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful home with great amenities. A beautiful view of the bay. The kitchen was spacious and had all of the appliances we needed. We enjoyed the roof top deck for watching both the sunrise and sunset. Fishing was great with lots of fish and sharks right at the dock.

Amazing house, location, amenities and hospitality! We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Sunset Reef. Our annual family vacation was made so special this year with this estate. The pool was cool and welcoming after a day out on the water. The boat lift was our special hang out spot. Jeff and Steve made us feel right at home with immediate response to any questions and a personal check in and out experience.

My family visits Islamorada about every 2 or 3 years for the past twenty years. This is our second stay at Sunset Reef. To be direct, we just love this place. You have unbelievable views in every direction. There is a boat lift which is very convenient so we can easily boat to restaurants, fish, head to the sandbar, or go out to watch a nice sunset. Having two active pups, this home is perfect for them as well. The location of this home within Islamorada is fantastic. You are a quick bike ride, or walk, to Robbie’s, and only a short drive to so many other great restaurants. The pool on the property gets used a lot with a beautiful view. Inside, there is plenty of room for 8 adults. The kitchen is well stocked, and the elevator is useful when arriving with luggage or going grocery shopping. We do not plan on looking anywhere else for lodging in Islamorada in the future. Steve, the owner, is extremely personable and easy to communicate with. We are already looking forward to our next visit at Sunset Reef.

This property offers so much! The pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed every aspect of the property - Sunsets and Sunrises on the Sundeck up top, Utilizing the dock, snorkeling the reefs, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, floating in the pool! There are views from every area of this property and the owner has provided anything you might need. By far the best stocked VRBO I have rented. Owner was so accomodating and attentive to our needs, making sure everything was perfect! Can't wait to stay again.

Perfect for activities; water- kayaking & paddleboards , (amazing launch ramp) land- walking. bikes available, sunset & sunrise watching, yard games Great location - shopping and restaurants

We like providing an enjoyable experience for our guests. We do not have a "launching ramp" for boats or jet skis. We have a platform boat lift that is used for kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling. Thank you.

Annual Family Vacay

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!! The view, the house, the grounds were absolutely spectacular! My family and I felt right at home at Sunset Reef. All the amenities were there from the kitchen to the bathrooms and even the water toys, that my 2 year old grandson absolutely enjoyed. The grounds, both the entrance way and the bay side, were spectacular!

Above our Expectations

This house had everything we could possibly ask for. Spacious, Pool, Waterfront, Bikes, Kayak's, and Paddle Boards. Kept the whole family entertained all week. Will definitely keep this house on our most favorite list!

The house was spotlessly clean. Fully stocked kitchen with any appliance you could imagine. The extras are what put this rental over the top in my opinion-common kitchen items (baggies, spices, foil), pool floats and toys, life jackets, beach towels, board games, and laundry detergent. The grounds of the house were beautiful and it had a stunning view! The mosquitoes are no joke though but they provided citronella candles to help combat them. An amazing rental and was perfect for my family of 9!

Sunset Reef is high quality

The location is perfect: on the bay, beautiful dock, gorgeous sunsets, Kayaking weather, and good fishing. The area is wonderful. The house amounts to a private resort. Views from each floor (and flat roof “observation” area. The owner keeps the house in great shape. PERFECT FOR FAMILY: games table & yard); pool & hot tub; privacy; lots of space. My children & grandchildren gave it 10/10

Celebration with friends

We had an amazing stay at Sunset Reef. The property was fantastic - everything we could have hoped for! The whole property was incredible - Sunsets, boat dock and lift, pool, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes ......... The house had everything we needed for a great stay. Interior and exterior were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host and check in process was very easy. Quick to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. We would definitely return to this property.

Spectacular home on the water

We just spent a wonderful week at this amazing home! Our family of 6 adults had a great time hanging together at the pool, on the deck, or inside the spacious house. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, spices, etc. And the bedrooms/bathrooms were well appointed and also well stocked! We enjoyed snorkeling off the dock/pier and had fun using the kayaks as well! Jeff, Steve and Kathy were very helpful and Jeff was particularly attentive during the week while we were there. Location was great, right on the water near Islamorada - many shops and restaurants were nearby, yet the area where we were staying was very peaceful. We look forward to returning for another stay soon, thanks so much for your hospitality!

Well-Appointed Home in Wonderful Location

The home was everything it was described to be, laid out perfectly for a family of 5 adults. Booking the property was a breeze, the owner was very responsive to questions and the local property manager was present to greet us upon arrival and also checked in on us during our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable and the outdoor space was very well thought-out with options for grilling, dining, boating, swimming and relaxing. Very well-appointed: every little detail was considered when it came to providing supplies for cooking, dining, laundry, swimming, boating and our general comfort. The location of the home on the bay was perfect for us since we ran a boat down for the week and the property's proximity to wonderful dining and shopping options in Islamorada added to our enjoyment. We would return to this property without hesitation.

Fantastic property

Everything at this property was absolutely perfect. The stay started with a detailed tour of the property from the owner in which every detail of the property was explained. Not to mention, prior to arrival, a list of recommended restaurants , shops, and anything you would need was provided. Everything at the property was there for our use, and Steve and Kathy made us feel very welcome upon arrival. As for the property itself, words cannot describe the breathtaking views and sunsets. Everything was very clean and user friendly. The home came with use of paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes all of which our family enjoyed. I doubt you will another property that matches everything that Sunset Reef has to offer.
