Only minutes to the beach, this one level single family home is right in the middle of everything. Located in Orange Beach, within a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful community pool, and just a mile from the Orange Beach Sportsplex and 5 minutes from the Recreational Center. There is loads of fun right around every corner.

The Barracuda house is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath coastal retreat with a cozy open floor plan so you won't miss a thing. The Master Suite has a comfortable king size bed with a master bath. The full bath has a soaking tub, separate shower and a large walk in closet for your storage needs. The second bedroom has two full size beds with a bathroom in-between it and the third bedroom with a luxurious queen size bed and lots of space, both bedrooms include a large closet. The fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, equalling 4 twin beds and a media center with a flat screen TV and a DVD/VHS player with plenty of movies to choose from. If this still isn't enough sleeping space there is a full size pull out sofa in the living room, sleeping a total of 14 people.

Through the double doors in the living room you will find a covered screened in porch furnished with seating and a tall table to gather around, it also includes a grill for barbecuing. Above hangs a fan to help cool down on those hot summer days. This is the perfect place to relax with a beverage or watch the kids run around in the privately fenced in and landscaped back yard.

In the dining area you will find a table that will accommodate 4 or the fold down leaf will lengthen the table to seat 6, with the bar seating 2. With the dining room open to the kitchen and the living room you will never miss the game or the conversation.

The kitchen is stocked for those who would like to cook, it includes stainless steel appliances and lots of counter space to work. You also will find many small appliances, an in-door water and ice refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker and a regular brewer for the coffee lovers.

In the living room you will find a large HD TV with "smart" capabilities and WiFi including apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Hulu among others. With a DVD player, a selection of DVD's and HD cable with DVR with lots of channels to choose from. There is two comfortable sofas with one that reclines for your comfort while watching a movie or taking a nap.

Off the kitchen is the laundry with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

For your entertainment at the Barracuda House we have a wonderful game room, with lots of games to choose from, including Pool, foosball, air hockey, cards and many more.

This home has just had a complete makeover and is ready to accommodate your family. It's a quiet cozy place right around the corner from lots of excitement.



Visit the Wharf with specialty boutiques and multiple delicious restaurants, it has something for everyone. You will find a variety of restaurants from coffee shops to fine dining, shopping, the Amphitheater, marina, movie theater, arcade, spa, the south's largest ferris wheel, light shows every night, Fireworks every Monday, zip line and Sharky's Adventure Park, and it is all only 5 minutes down the road.
If you are here and it's too cool for the water, there is a nice heated pool open 51 weeks out of the year at the Orange Beach Recreation Center just a few minutes away. There is a small fee that also includes use of the gym and the rest of the recreation center.
If you are looking to play a little golf, there is a course with a driving range across the street from the neighborhood with an excellent drive up or dine in diner and there is 3 other championship golf courses near by. If you are the outdoors type there is the Backcountry Trail with sightings of lots of wildlife daily, including a couple of alligators that are always hanging around, take your bicycles or rent some from Infinity Bicycles in Orange Beach. Follow the sidewalks down Lauder Lane to walk or ride over to the trails, a sand volleyball course, a giant playground pirate ship, a private pond or Orange Beach Sportsplex, all accessed from the neighborhood. There is also great fishing, the Gulf State Park is right behind the neighborhood including beautiful Lake Shelby to canoe on or fish.
If you are coming just for the beach, there is a great public beach (Cotton Bayou or Alabama Point) with food trucks during the summer, showers and large bathrooms only 2 miles away. There are many other beach access areas.
If you are into history you will enjoy the Indian Mounds on Dauphin Island, Fort Morgan with a Museum and Fort Gains with lots of Civil War history.
If the kids love animals you could take them to the Gulf Coast Zoo, Alligator Alley, Sea Lab (Estuarium), Bird Sanctuary, Bon-Secour National Wildlife Refuge or Gulf Breeze Zoo to feed lots of the animals including the giraffes.
For a great Fine Dining experience try Fishers Upstairs, Playa, Voyagers, Salt at SanRoc Cay, Cobalt, Louisiana Lagniappe, Big Fish, The Villagio or Perch, all within a 10-15 minute drive. For more laid back fare we recommend GT’s, Doc's Seafood, Cosmo's, Sea N Suds, LuLu's, Luna's, Big Mikes, The Southern Grind, Big Wave Daves, The Diner, Sunliner Diner, Picnic Beach, Anchor Bar and Grill, The Gulf, Tacky Jacks and Acme Oyster House.
If you are wanting to stay cool but need a change of scenery try Waterville USA a fun water park with other adventurous rides other than just the water slides and wave pool.
If your looking for a thrill or more food options take the family to OWA amusement park with over 21 rides or just visit the “small town feel” of Downtown OWA including shops and big name restaurants. They have nightly shows on the streets or visit Legends a theatre featuring some of the greatest tribute artist in concert.
If you still need more ideas of fun exciting experiences here is a small list to consider: Pensacola Naval Air Museum, Mobile Children's Exploreum, Mobile Battleship USS Alabama, day trip to (Foley Tanger Outlets, Gift Horse restaurant and Train Museum) or Fairhope for a beautiful small town feel.
