Thanks for your review & glad you had a great time. We have not visited since the hurricane, so we have not seen the damage to the beach access, I guess you cannot have it both ways, the sand dunes in the 220yds distance to the beach helps protect the house from storms. but obviously can suffer during a storm. It is a pity mosquitos were bad at that time but did not seem to have had too much effect on your vacation. Frankly we have never been bothered much by them. Thanking you again. Thank you for your excellent review, We had a lot of damage due to the hurricane, but have renewed and rehabilitated a lot of features in the house.. We intend to keep it in the best condition we can. & still have some improvements we intend to make. You are correct in saying that the views from the porches are very good, & we think we probably have the best all around view at Pelican Point. Thanks & Regards. Patricia Rubel

We are very pleased that you liked the house, it's close location to the ocean & the many amenities in the area, but it is also possible to have a quiet vacation if you so desire. We had a lot of roof & internal damage from the hurricanes & have done much renovating. We are very pleased everything went well & you all had a great vacation. You were the first visitors after we had repaired the house following the storms, & we were apprehensive that there might be some deficiencies we had missed, but apparently not.
