Pros: - Large area and fits 6 people.- Well equipped.- Good communication with host. Good service.Cons:- Flooring not completely flush with sub floor.- Smoke alarm batteries not replaced regularly, so we had problem sleeping one night when smoke alarm battery was weak.- Very thin blanket in master bedroom. Very cold at night.Overall, a good deal.

Enjoyed our time here, did lots of out-backing, access to the park was convenient, home had everything we needed, spacious and we could walk to the store. Host was thoughtful and accommodating.

Great location and very clean

Enjoyed our stay. We loved the location which made it easy to walk to dining and shops. Place was nicely furnished and updated. Very close to Yellowstone north entrance. Would recommend it to other travelers (it is a basement unit but does have windows in the 2 bedrooms)

Stay in Gardiner

Property was very nice and close to everything in town. Only complaint was the last 2 days the people upstairs running and jumping and it was very loud.

Family getaway

Conveniently located located to the park and dining locations. It is basement level of a home and there is noise from upstairs heavy walking. Rental was clean and accessible on time.

Pretty

Very pretty appointments, but no TVs in the bedrooms, only one small bathroom. We're up to seven guests.Laundry room would be a great touch for travelers.

The host provided clear and timely communication from the time of booking. One of my first questions was if there was a laundry room in the property; the host clarified that there wasn't one, but pointed out there was a coin laundry near-by. Later I found myself having to adjust my travel dates and I was met with flexibility to make the change without a hassle.The property is located within 5 minutes of the north entrance to Yellowstone. This is extremely hard to beat both for having access to the park and for venturing into Montana if desired.The property was clean and well maintained. The only areas for improvement (which I communicated to the host) were additional options for pots/pans and kitchen tools (a lot of people like to dine out, but we prefer to cook our own meals whenever possible). The only other potential negative was noise from the upstairs section of the building: depending on the walking habits of the upstairs tenants, it can be quite easy to hear them moving around.Overall, I'd give the place an 8.5/10. I would definitely book again if I made another trip to the area.

The place was close to the markets and downtown. Parking was not easy. There is a unit upstairs that was not mentioned in the listing.

Close to Yellowstone entrance

The property looks just like the pictures, however it wasn't clear that it was a lower unit. Very clean and close to the park entrance. I accidently booked a Tuesday - Saturday instead of Wednesday - Sunday. Management reached out to me and i was able to stay until Sunday since it wasn't booked so that worked out!

Good location

Location was good, street is a gravel alley. Kitchen was why we booked but you cant cook in it because the heat from the oven sets off the fire alarm (no smoke, just from the heat). Small bathroom - which is ok but tight if you have mutliple people staying with you. Clean and updated. Very easy to hear people walking around upstairs.

No River View!

Didn’t see the River at all. Very spacious but upstairs flooring could use some insulation- loud walking and talking. Kitchen could use a meat pan/baking pan and a cookie sheet. A cheese grater too. Okay location and modern but not as advertised.

Deceptive listing

There isn't a picture of the outside of this property because it is in a basement, and you can hear every footstep from upstairs. Also, the four twins beds listed is two twin beds with trundles. The manager assured me that the trundles counted as twin beds. You can't cook on the stove because as soon as it's turned it smelled like it was going to catch on fire. The only thing redeeming was it was clean.

Nice Place-But

There was remodeling going on upstairs with beating and loud noises.This lasted until 1am some nights.The add for property does not say anything about this bring downstairs with someone above.The floor had been flooded in the past and needs repair.Would not recommend.

Misleading listing

Very nice location, but unit is not as advertised. - Owner of property usually takes 8+ hrs to respond. - Internet is extremely slow. 4.66 mb/s download and 1.77 mb/s upload, so unable to work effectively from this place. - Another unit up stairs with thin walls - you can hear people walking around and talking even when they are quiet. - minimal warm water for showers.

Not As Advertised

Pros: In town, near grocery and north entrance Good fridge- clean linens and lots of towels Cons: not as advertised! Is a BASEMENT unit and is very loud. No instructions on splits that are there to control heat/air Towels smell mildewy even though there were lots. We rented this place because it had stars for clean and supposedly a view. (FYI the only view is of the parking lot from the broken front door). While linens, floor, and kitchen were clean the floorboards and bathroom floorboards and around the toilet were covered in dust and needed scrubbed. We did contact the owner about the front door literally hanging off its hinges. Statement was “well it’s only the screen door so it’s fine” We did not engage the Owner about the other issues as we had no other place to go. However this property needs to be advertised properly and given a deep Clean. Also- rules posted inside the house don’t match what was advertised online . So another heads up.

Twin beds were a little deceiving. There was 2 twin beds with 2 “trundle” twins underneath. The living room furniture was really worn and uncomfortable. 4 people and not enough toilet paper. Flooring is old and needs re done. The good, everything is walking distance with food close by and grocery store.

Nice renovated basement home

We had a good time, accurate listing but its a basement with no windows except bedrooms so the home was freezing the whole time and you could hear the occupants of the main house walking, luckily we share the place for only one night. It’s clean, renovated and has all the basics. The only bathroom was very small

Clean and adequately furnished.

I will probably never stay in a VRBO property again. The decor was a little upscale for a family with four small children who would all stay in one bedroom. I have stayed in condos in Florida on the Gulf Coast and in Delaware on the Eastern Shore where the price included the cleaning fee and there was no damage deposit.

Great place to stay in Gardiner

We had a very enjoyable stay in this property. The place was spacious, very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities for preparing your own meal. The owner was very attentive and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Gardiner

Recently remodeled, well-equipped, and clean. Luckily we only had people upstairs for one day of our stay, as their foot traffic was really loud.
