Beautiful Bungalow at Seacrest Beach

Less than a five minute stroll from the seashore, this private cottage is ideally suited for a seaside retreat near unique shopping boutiques and excellent restaurants.This home is a two-story cypress-sided Florida beach bungalow. The entire house is completely floored with heartwood pine and cypress hardwood waynes coating siding throughout with ceramic tile in the bathrooms. This is truly your own private paradise just across from the emerald waters and pristine white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. This spacious, two-level home offers plenty of privacy that is perfect for families or couples seeking a romantic seaside getaway. The main living area is located on the first floor and is roomy and relaxing with cable television and a Bose sound system. The fully furnished kitchen contains a six seat dining table and a three seat kitchen bar. On the lower level you will find the first bedroom suite with a full shower. The laundry room is also located on this floor and is connected to a sitting room that is perfect for children at the end of the house. There is also a half bath in the laundry room area. The second level contains a master suite with a full bath. The master bath contains a shower and a jet whirlpool bathtub. There is also a guest room with three single beds with a shower bath. There are two upstairs balconies that are perfect for enjoying the sea breezes and sounds of the surf. The larger balcony has overhead fans, outdoor cushion furniture and is roomy enough for six people or more. Leading to the balcony, there is a small wet bar, refrigerator and wine cooler that is perfect for entertaining. An outdoor stairway leads down to a ground deck just outside the kitchen dining area. There is also a charcoal grill available for outdoor grilling. A smaller covered widow's balcony is connected to the upstairs master bedroom and is perfect for early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Everything was as the app showed. The house had everything we could ever need. The last few places we stayed only gave us a couple of trash bags, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, a couple of dishwasher pods, etc. This house made us feel at home and not constantly going to the store for supplies that should have been included--Thank you!!! We were walking distance to Seacrest Beach and a short drive to Seasids Beach and Panama City Beach. There's tons to do really close to the house. We would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing escape

Lovely home for a family vacation

My family loved our four-night stay at the bungalow. Check-in was easy; access to the front door was through a lockbox. The house is in a great location. Five-minute walk to the beach and a ten minute drive to Publix for groceries. It's about a 20 minute walk to "The Big Chill," an outdoor food-court that has dining choices for everybody, live music and outdoor seating. Our daughter rented a bike that was delivered directly to the house (*bikes are highly recommended for this area), which she used to explore neighboring beaches. The house has three spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms/showers. The house was clean upon arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, etc... we didn't need to bring any cookware from home. The host sent a warm note welcoming us and was immediately responsive when we had questions during the trip.Overall, a super stay. Would book again.

We could not have asked for more wonderful guests. Thomas and his group kept the houses clean and followed all of the rules to the letter. I would recommend them to any host anywhere. Great people to have in your house!

Great home! Great location

Great home. Lots of beach chairs and wagon. Loved the upper deck in the evenings. Did not have to buy extra garbage bags, soap, etc.

Fabulous find!!

We are so thankful to have found this property in our favorite place to go! The house is spacious and very clean. We loved the convenient walk to the beach. This made it super easy for us with our 5 year old boy along with my parents. This is a definite place we will be booking again!! Hopefully sooner than later!

Great place and location

This is a really nice, comfortable home with an even better location. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house has a big grill for cooking out. The interior is cool and cozy, and there is lots of exterior space - front, back, and upstairs - to enjoy. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, while being just steps from the beach. The beach equipment generously provided by our hosts - multiple chairs, umbrellas, toys, and cart to haul it all in - was a great bonus.

Solid location!

Overall I thought this property was a good deal. 5 minute walk to the beach with all of the gear you would need and a wagon to pull it. Home had a cottage like charm to it. A good central location that made it easy to drive to the nearby neighborhoods in both directions (minus traffic). Kids had a blast!

Felt Like Home

Wonderful is all we can say about this home. We love nooks and this home had many places to find a quiet place to read a book or just relax. We loved having an enclosed garage to keep our car and bikes. Lots of beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs. Beds were comfortable too. Very close to the beach. Hope to stay again in the future.

4th of July Week at the Beach

Excellent Location! Neighborhood is Literally across the street to the beach access, and beach is prime location, not too crowded. Garage is filled with beach toys, chairs and wagon for hauling it all. House is perfect for a family. Cozy and just as the pictures show. Plenty of room for 6 adults to relax and hang out comfortably. Kitchen is equipped with all you need if cooking is preferred, as well as BBQ. Hosts were gracious and easy to respond with. Many thanks to them for sharing their home!

New Year’s getaway

The location between Watersound and Alys Beach is convenient to restaurants, and shops (although not walking distance). Since the weather wasn’t conducive to a lot of beach time, I can’t really speak to that. The homeowners have chairs and ice chest available. It’s really more like a “personal residence” than a condo rental. We felt like we were staying at a family members home. We found it to be a great way to relax, play board games and watch a little football for New Years.

Very spacious

We stayed only 2 days (3 mights) so couldn't make the most of it. Just in those 2 days we kept finding another door or room! With a week, we'd have been better able to make the most of the balconies/porch, the garden etc. And worked out which switches turned on which of the many lights (which are necessary in the large lounge). The photos do not do justice to the property.

Beach house

We rented the house during the week to enjoy some family time and be close to family who live in the area. The house is not as modern as many in the neighborhood but it has a lot of space to spread out. The kids had their own playroom area and a big living area for all to enjoy. It was a close and easy walk (<5 minutes) to the beach. We had an issue with the air conditioner the first day but it was quickly fixed the next morning. Communication was quick and we were even allowed to check in a little earlier and enjoy some extra beach time. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful which cannot always be said about other properties in the area.

Heather and her family were relatively good guests. However, there were more people in the house than we were led to believe, and there was a lot of in and out which affected the air conditioning somewhat. Nonetheless, we worked to accommodate their needs, and we are glad that they had a nice time.

Wonderful beach bungalow

This house exceeded our expectations and as other reviews have stated, the photos don't do it justice. This is a big house, with several outside gathering spaces and lots of personal spaces inside with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. It was furnished with everything you could need. Sweet, normal neighborhood, across the street from the beach and within biking distance of Alys, Watersound, and Rosemary Beach. With Publix close by, we were so happy not to have to drive into Seaside! The property owners were so nice to work with and bikes were delivered to our door by 30A bike rental. We'll be back!

This property is physically located in South Walton County in the Sea Crest Beach area between Rosemary and Seaside! The name of this area is Inlet Beach, Florida. This neighborhood is a quiet beach community without high rise hotels or condominiums. There excellent paved bike trails up and down 30A that can be used to reach both Seaside and Rosemary and beyond by bicycle. The Gulf and beautiful, uncrowded beaches are only a four minute stroll from the house with easy access down a number of public and community beach accesses. This is property is for those seeking a tranquil vacation experience away from the crowds.
