We loved our second visit here! The property is gorgeous and the wildlife and views are great. The owners are very responsive and respectful.

Perfect hidden getaway for couples or a small family. My husband and I needed to “unplug from the city” and we both found this place to be very charming and just what we needed. If your goal is to relax and be surrounded by nature, this place is your answer. Extremely close is Mt. Davis for those who want to view to the highest elevation in PA. There’s trails nearby or you can drive right to the top. We visited while we stayed over and it was awesome. The host Mona is very easy to get in touch with and check-in/check-out was very easy and smooth. We both would happily stay here again.

Davis our location allows visits to Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and the Great Allegheny Passage. Each season provides outdoor adventure and/or the cottage provides a quiet private retreat. Do come and see how peaceful country life can be.

This little house is just perfect for a getaway. Secluded, quiet, beautiful property. Sitting on the porch, listening to the birds and the creek, all you can see is woods. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving tools. The bedroom is super cozy. Our host, Mona, was very helpful and responsive when I had questions leading up to our stay. And there were fresh flowers in multiple places through the house and outdoor spaces. We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property was in the perfect setting—peaceful, relaxing, and close to so many things we wanted to do. The home was cozy, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. During our stay, we visited Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park, went golfing, and enjoyed exploring some of the local restaurants. We had awesome burgers at Front Porch Bar and Grill in Addison, great food and entertainment at Pamela’s Pints (where we actually ran into our sweet host!), yummy breakfast at Mitch’s, and a delicious dinner at Rivers Edge Cafe, all in Confluence.After our days of exploring, it was so nice to come back to the house and just relax. Loved sitting on the porch and just listen to the creek. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay while exploring the area!

The Woodland cabin is our favorite place to spend time. Mona and Bryon are great hosts. The cabin is very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. It's secluded for quiet restful nights. Also close to the GAP bike trail, not far from Confluence and Meyersdale. It's one place we have stayed many times and will again.

We had a great time! It was relaxing to get out of town after a day of hiking/biking and come back to a private setting. We enjoyed the puzzles, checkers, and DVDs available. We accidently left a pair of shorts behind, and she reached out about them immediately with solutions on getting them back to us. Above and beyond! Would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had an absolutely wonderful, peaceful stay! The home was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. Once the hosts found out I was in a wheelchair, they took the extra step to make sure everything was set up well and accessible for me, which meant the world to us. They truly are fantastic hosts.The location is great—the GAP trail is just a short drive away (definitely plan to drive rather than bike to the trailhead, as the roads around here are winding and hilly!), and the town of Confluence is very close for grabbing essentials or eating at a few nice local restaurants.The house itself is warm and super cozy—we loved just sitting by the fireplace in the two chairs, and the kitchen had everything we needed. All the thoughtful touches, like the fresh live flowers on the table, made it feel so welcoming.Our favorite part was simply sitting back and watching the wildlife—birds, squirrels, and chipmunks everywhere—and seeing the fall leaves drift down from the trees was mesmerizing. When the rain came down, the gentle creek outside filled right up and turned into a rushing torrent with some serious flow and incredible, soothing water sounds. It was the exact restful getaway we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

We love the "highly recommended" review and are happy that we were able to provide a "wonderful, peaceful stay". Some of our guests come and never leave the property. Others visit Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Ohiopyle and the GAP trail. Also, by the mountain road is Mt. Davis the highest point in PA in Forbes State Forest with hiking trails. We aim to please. It was a wonderful relaxing stay. We enjoyed biking the GAP Trail and came back to a comfy setting to relax! We enjoyed the fire pit, watched birds from the deck, and used the grill to make steaks. We watched a couple of movies, and slept well. Everything was as described and very clean! Mona and Bryon were kind and responsive eith anything we asked. We hope to return soon!

This cabin is perfect for an unplugged weekend. Very tranquil - a great place to just sit and listen to the beautiful woods surrounding it. It also is so well thought out - everything one could possibly need it available!
