Beautiful Family Home, great ski location, perfect for families, quiet location

Our Tahoe Donner is perfect for 1-3 families vacationing together with 2700 sq/ft of living space, plus a large deck. Ideal for a maximum of 6 adults with up to 4 children, or less adults and more children for a maximum of 10 people. This is our home, and is not a party house. In Winter it has easy access to Palisades, Alpine, North Star, Tahoe Donner, Etc. Plus, best Cross Country Skiing & sledding facility in the west. In summer, great hiking and mountain biking.

The home is very quiet & peaceful. It is a family house. The main floor has two steps to enter the house and no other steps on the first floor interior and has a master bedroom and bath plus a 1/2 bath. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, a 1 full bath with 2 sinks, plus a large separated kids room/rec room where the kids can play games or relax. The rec room has 4 bunks, a seating area and a TV with cable and a Wii and Xbox 360 video game console. There is also a loft with an excellent relaxation space.

Downstairs, the main living room has vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a large comfortable couch, and a stone gas fireplace. The kitchen has a gas stove / oven, and is well-equipped with everything from pots & pans to most things needed for any kind of cooking. There are a large number of place settings as well as plenty of glasses, mugs, dishes etc.

There is a large (band new) deck surrounded by lovely trees, with a fairway a short distance away. The home has its own horse shoe pit. In summer, there is a Weber Gas bbq and patio furniture, and umbrella. In winter, the backyard is a HUGE snow park as it opens to the golf course where kids make snowmen, sled, and have snowball fights.

The house has two TVs with cable, and has an internet modem downstairs. There is cellular coverage throughout the house. The closets are stocked with games and puzzles. There is a washer and dryer upstairs.

• Master Bedroom (downstairs): King bed, adjoining bath with shower and two sinks
• Guest 1 (upstairs): King bed, vaulted ceilings
• Guest 2 (upstairs): 2 Twin beds, desk, vaulted ceilings
• Rec Room (upstairs): 4 Bunk beds (2 sets of bunks)

Guests have access to the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center via our guest cards to rec pool, adult lap pool, fitness center, hot tub, sauna. Tahoe Donner changes per person access pricing from year to year so please go to Tahoe Donner website for more info on current pricing. Tahoe Donner also has a tennis center (now with Pickleball as well), marina, equestrian center, family movie nights, bocce ball court, archery, a championship 18 hole golf course and driving range. There is a great (and free) putting green and an extremely nice free chipping area stocked with balls about 1 mile away.

This home is less than 5 minutes from Tahoe Donner ski hill and cross country center. Tahoe Donner is within 20 minutes to major ski resorts: Squaw, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl.

In summer, this is a fantastic hiking and mountain biking location. Trails start about 1 mile from my home. Amazing (and free) trails into the wilderness with trail maps, markers for varying levels of effort.
