Quaint home with lots of history to it. Nice short walk to town, don’t need to drive. Loved sitting and feeling the breeze come in off the water every morning! Owners made sure everything was just right.

Our trip to Beaufort was great. Check in was seamless and the host was very accommodating. Everything we needed was already in the cottage. Although we had to cut our trip short, the host was very understanding that we were unable to clean up after ourselves. This VRBO is within walking distance to all the sights and shopping places. We parked the car when we arrived and walked everywhere we went. I highly recommend this cottage.

Very clean and great location! Susan was very nice and easy to get a hold of. The bikes were not in the best condition which was a little frustrating because we hadn’t brought our own. We did enjoy our stay either way!

Couldn't have asked for a better host and location to stay at! This is a beautiful 1800s restored home that had plenty of space for the four of us and the dogs. Your nestled in to a very historic community that just draws you in to all it has, and being in this home makes you feel very much a part of it. Accommodations were clean and having the extra outdoor shower and bathroom was a great plus coming back from boating, the beach and fishing, even had outside fish cleaning station to clean our catch. Beautiful front porch to sit on and sip some wine while enjoying the afternoon breeze. Walking distance to the waterfront, restaurants and shopping. Joe and Susan were the best taking care of any issues, including finding us a spot to park our boat, and able to supply us with plenty of seafood to enjoy and bring home. This is an area we are looking to move to, and this just sealed the deal for us!!

This was an ideal location for our family for my sister’s wedding. The hosts were sweet and we were lucky enough to get some of their delicious shrimp! Our family enjoyed the stay and we even brought the cat!

Thank you both for having us there! Thank you for stopping and talking with your dogs. Thank you for the crab claws. I think I forgot the ones in tbe freezer, along with the doggie ice cream..hope yours got them. Such a wonderful environment

Lovely time near the beach

Nice cozy cottage near the downtown fort and beaches. Went to see fort Macon and Atlantic beach for a nice weekend getaway.

Very clean, walkable to all that charming Beaufort has to offer. Hosts were friendly and go above and beyond with amenities. Great weekend get away!

Anchors Aweigh in Beaufort, NC is an adorable historic cottage with all the modern conveniences we could want. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking, and the downstairs bed (the only bedroom we used) is so comfortable. The entire house was spotlessly clean. It is well-located just 2 blocks from the Main Street and waterfront district where there are many restaurants and shops. The hosts, Sue and Ron, were extremely easy to communicate with and did everything possible to make our visit pleasant. We highly recommend staying at Anchors Aweigh cottage in Beaufort, NC.

Owners were amazing, house was perfect for us and fur baby. Clean and well stocked. Easy walking to brewery, food trucks and turner street market (amazing breakfast sandwiches and burritos!) This was our first visit of many more to Beaufort!

Lovely Historic Home

We enjoyed the location of this home! Love all the history of this town, which we found was linked to our hometown in WNC. The owners were wonderful and have the best fresh shrimp! They supplied many essentials that I usually have to purchase when staying in VRBO. Highly recommend!
