This hideaway cottage/cabin is fully equipped with everything from home. Enjoy the creek sounds from the back porch at night watching the fireflies dance by. Brevard, NC is only 20 minutes away, Dupont State Park is 10 minutes away, Davidson River and Sliding Rock in Brevard is a highlight of Brevard. Pretty Place (Camp Greenville) 10 mins away perfect for wedding ceremonies. Bedrooms, Master has a King Bed on the main floor, Upstairs loft has 2 queens, and bedroom we call Eagle's Nest has a twin bed. Sleeps 7.

Bear Creek is an AMAZING property!! It is close proximity to Camp Greenville and Pretty Place Chapel, along with Cedar Mountain, Brevard, Hendersonville, and Greenville. You are close to all kinds of hiking at nearby Caesar's Head, Raven Cliff Falls, and DuPont. Jan is WONDERFUL, and so easy to work with. She was available before, during, and even after willing to answer any questions. She checked on us our first morning. Thank you for everything, Jan!! We will be back!!

This is an absolutely adorable house! The kids absolutely loved the loft and the ground they got to explore. The kitchen had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. Located near hiking trails which we enjoyed. The host, Jan, was great to work with and communicated well.

The house was great; beautiful location and awesome fireplace. Perfection location for our winter hiking. The owners were responsive with our minimal requests. Would definitely recommend and would return.

We brought in the new year 2026 at this cabin. To our surprise, it was much better in person than the pictures. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep very warm feeling well and well decorated. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to go to the mountains. Caesars head State Park is nearby and Brevard and Pisgah Forest is a close drive.

Relaxing place to stay

This beautiful cabin is well maintained and was a wonderful place to just relax. The area is lovely with lots to do and see. We enjoyed the waterfalls in the area. It was so refreshing to get up in the morning and drink a cup of coffee on the back porch. Overall just a great place to unwind and get recharged!

Beautiful cabin in a wonderful area! The cabin itself was so peaceful. The property was beautiful. It was also so close to many great hiking and sightseeing locations! We loved our stay!

The cabin was a dream and we broke ground in 2007 to build Bear Creek. During construction, a friendly bear was seen many times at the creek watching as the construction progressed, so we named the cabin "Bear Creek". There is no better place to come and relax after working in the city. Bring your CD music and play your favorite mountain tunes! My personal favorite is watching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee on the back porch. At night you will enjoy the mountain sounds, tree frogs and katydids will sing you to sleep.
