Enjoy resort amenities in a log home setting. Located in Cedar Mountain NC just minutes south of Brevard, we are situated on just over 40 acres with a two bold mountain streams and a waterfall marking our northern border and a 35 undeveloped acres to our east. The stream closest to the cabin has a small beach and wading pool perfe
ct for an afternoon picnic. The fenced back yard offers security for young children or pets. You will enjoy complete privacy and seclusion in our mountain retreat! Located in the middle of activities for a range of interests: Easy access to Dupont State Park and Caesars Head park in South Carolina. Sherwood Forest Golf course is only two miles away and Brevard, with its music center, great restaurants and shopping is ten minutes to the north. Hendersonville is approximately 15 minutes away making Amos Acres the center of your Blue Ridge experience!



Relax on the front porch and watch the deer every morning and evening or enjoy the sound of the waterfall on the back porch while cooking on the grill. Amos Acres is fully equipped to insure a pleasant stress-free vacation experience. The cabin is decorated with paintings, pottery and baskets from local artisans to complete your western Carolina experience. Walk in showers make the bathrooms user-friendly. Both bathrooms have been recently updated. New windows, doors and refinished floors make this great rental just that much nicer!

Amos Acres is very comfortable, the lot is gorgeous and for those traveling with pets, the backyard is perfect. This was our 6th stay and we will be back again

loved the cabin. peace and tranquility at it's best. you can hear the creek waters running in the woods behind the cabin. great fenced in back yard for the pups.

This is a charming place to stay and rewind. It's so close to many beautiful waterfalls and other places to explore. We also enjoy the small craft stores that are near. looking for deer in the yard is fun. We did see that bear twice, but it didn't bother us. Getting to the creek might be a challenge, but worth it. There was a lot of rain this year, so the creek was great.You have everything you need in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing this place with so many people.

Beautiful place. The front porch and backyard are peaceful and private and we spent a lot of time relaxing in both. Great location from downtown Brevard and the trails we walked. Already hoping to plan mother stay next year.

The property was convenient for everything we wanted to do. The yard was perfect for our 2year old black lab. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Only issue was the refrigerator is noisy, so if you're a lite sleeper it could be annoying. Otherwise we had a great time despite the rain!! Thanks!

This was the second time we stayed at this VRBO and that’s saying something. Nice and peaceful. Enjoyed watching the deer feed in the evening in the yard. Close to go experience the White squirrel festival. Just very relaxing and serene trip.

The house was perfect. We also rented a similar property close by and were able to walk between the two. This was great for two couples and a dog. The creek in the backyard was wonderful to listen to while enjoying the patio area.

I spent many summers at camp in western NC as a child. We have vacationed in this area nearly every year for the last 20 years. We love the outdoors, excellent hiking, kayaking and other activities that are so available here.

We love the proximity to Dupont State Forest and Caesers'Head and the great hiking opportunities in both spots. The complete privacy of our location, opportunity to view wildlife in the front yard and the incredible choices of activities nearby made this a 'must have' for us!

The cabin is fully equipped so no worries about being able to prepare great meals away from home. The stream, waterfall and wading pool provide on-sight entertainment. Feed the deer and enjoy a touch of nature right in the front yard. The fenced yard keeps the kids and pets safe and secure. Listen to the sound of the waterfall as you fall asleep. Wifi, satellite and DVD keep us in touch with our other lives if we choose.
