Enjoy resort amenities in a log home setting. Located in Cedar Mountain NC just minutes south of Brevard, we are situated on just over 40 acres with a two bold mountain streams and a waterfall marking our northern border and a 35 undeveloped acres to our east. The stream closest to the cabin has a small beach and wading pool perfe
ct for an afternoon picnic. The fenced back yard offers security for young children or pets. You will enjoy complete privacy and seclusion in our mountain retreat! Located in the middle of activities for a range of interests: Easy access to Dupont State Park and Caesars Head park in South Carolina. Sherwood Forest Golf course is only two miles away and Brevard, with its music center, great restaurants and shopping is ten minutes to the north. Hendersonville is approximately 15 minutes away making Amos Acres the center of your Blue Ridge experience!

Relax on the front porch and watch the deer every morning and evening or enjoy the sound of the waterfall on the back porch while cooking on the grill. Amos Acres is fully equipped to insure a pleasant stress-free vacation experience. The cabin is decorated with paintings, pottery and baskets from local artisans to complete your western Carolina experience. Walk in showers make the bathrooms user-friendly. Both bathrooms have been recently updated. New windows, doors and refinished floors make this great rental just that much nicer!

Beautiful secluded mountain getaway

We absolutely loved it, 5th or 6th time staying. Hosts are very efficient communicators, kitchenware/utensils are well thought out, beds and couch comfortable, plenty of wood for the firepit, places to walk/hike, and fenced yard for dogs.

Private and Wonderful Dog Friendly House

My wife and I, and our Rough Coated Collie, completely enjoyed this great house! The house is well equipped, clean, comfortable, and secluded and met our needs very well. The large fenced backyard was a great feature for our Collie to play in. This was our third visit to this house and are looking forward to another stay. great place!

This was our first time at this place and we enjoyed every minute! The house and yard are wonderful including the deer that came morning and night. The surrounding area has a lot to offer those who want to enjoy the outdoors. We will be coming back to this area again and again.

Beautiful spot

Our grandkids had so much fun here -exploring the stream, feeding the deer, and playing games in the huge backyard. Cabin is comfortable, and property is lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Mountain Bliss

This was our fourth trip to this beautiful property, and our second in autumn. It’s a joy any time of year, but we enjoyed the cooler fall weather for outside fires in the solo stove & chai lattes from the Cedar Mountain Outpost just down the road. Our dog loves the big backyard to play in! Quiet and peaceful, with wildlife visitors (we saw the white squirrels every day!), this location is idyllic. We also hiked to Rainbow Falls in Gorges State Park, it was breathtaking. We will be back!

Fantastic Stay

We came to the area on a road trip from Ontario, Canada to see The Pretty Place and do some hiking. This is a great location for all of that. Everything is relatively close by. You can sit on the deck in the early morning and early evening and watch the deer that came out everyday. We will definitely consider this place again and would highly recommend to anyone

Great location and cozy family house

We had a fabulous time. We were able to enjoy each other and being so close to so many different places. We went to sliding rock, difference water falls. We also visited the precious town of Brevard.

Love this place

My wife and I have stayed three times at this cabin. Location is perfect between Brevard and Hendersonville, house is warm and cozy, great for pets, hear the stream outside, great local food and drink within minutes. Tecommend creekside cafe for breakfast. Especially southern sausage gravey biscuits

Lovely nature escape

My family really enjoyed our stay at this home. The kids especially loved exploring the woods and trying to find critters in the creek. We loved seeing deer in the yard each morning as well. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for the 4 of us.

This place has it all, more than anyplace we have stayed. Privacy, large property, nicely appointed and decorated. Gas grille, fire pit, fenced large back yard, outdoor patio/furniture. Landscaped nicer than anyplace we have been, comfortable bed and pillows, bonus televisions

Gorgeous setting and nice cabin

I can’t imagine a better spot to gather our 5 older grandkids for a cousin get together! Lots of space to run around, a stream to explore, and deer and a white squirrel as regular visitors! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Great Stay!

We were vey impressed wih the location, cleanliness, and well stocked kitchen. The cabin was very private and quiet. The fenced back yard was a hit with our dogs. We all loved grilling and then sitting by the fire pit untl late into the night. Thank you for such a relaxing vacation!!

I spent many summers at camp in western NC as a child. We have vacationed in this area nearly every year for the last 20 years. We love the outdoors, excellent hiking, kayaking and other activities that are so available here.

We love the proximity to Dupont State Forest and Caesers'Head and the great hiking opportunities in both spots. The complete privacy of our location, opportunity to view wildlife in the front yard and the incredible choices of activities nearby made this a 'must have' for us!

The cabin is fully equipped so no worries about being able to prepare great meals away from home. The stream, waterfall and wading pool provide on-sight entertainment. Feed the deer and enjoy a touch of nature right in the front yard. The fenced yard keeps the kids and pets safe and secure. Listen to the sound of the waterfall as you fall asleep. Wifi, satellite and DVD keep us in touch with our other lives if we choose.
