Live like a local in a beautiful and charming newly remodeled Studio. Just 2.5 blocks to the sand at gorgeous family friendly Wind n Sea beach. Private yet close to all amenities.

Spacious Living/sleeping area, 1 bathroom and a full kitchen. Room for 1-2 adults to sleep comfortably. Queen size bed with memory foam mattress in the bedroom. The studio also has a comfortable full sized sofa and desk area. Designated parking space. The studio is small, but feels very luxurious and larger than it is. It has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Sea Glass Hideaway is a very special place to stay!

Adorable private patio with shade sails for dining, relaxing and entertaining. BBQ, outdoor dining, cooks kitchen with stove for gourmet meals, shared washer and dryer. Dog Friendly.

Truly beautiful and special, Sea Glass Hideaway is a lovely and charming beach studio that you'll love calling home! Note the public/community pool is located about 3 blocks away and info is at: cogganaquatics.org

Great location, close to the beach, restaurants, museums. Having a garage was nice not having to park on the street. Bathroom was remodeled. Place was clean and quiet.The lock box for check in was tricky , took some attempts to open it.Would definitely stay there again.

No the parking was not easy to get into. You have an ant problem. Having to walk down two alleys to do laundry was ridiculous. Having to drive blocks to the community pool was ridiculous. The description of the property in the listing was very deceptive. We would not be staying there again and we would recommend no one else stay there either.

The public pool is just 3 blocks away and is called Coggan Aquatic Center. It's a fantastic facility, about a 10 minute walk or 1 minute car ride. We never hide that information. We also share that the laundry is located a 2 minute walk from the studio. The parking is on a shared driveway/car port and the studio has a dedicated lane that pulls directly in front of the entrance. It can be tight if the guest vehicle is over-sized. However, there's also plenty of street parking with no permit restrictions. If the guest saw some ants, I would have brought over a couple traps that clears them up in hours, but they didn't reach out.

Excellent location (close to shopping/easily walkable. Free parking. Comfortable bed, great shower lots of hot water and pressure. Host was immediately accessible by phone when we had a very stupid question. Would happily return and probably will in the future now that we have family in the area.

Great beach getaway

This was our second stay at Sea Glass Hideaway, and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Great location, comfortable bed, nice outdoor space.

Sea Glass Hideaway

We enjoyed the comfortable studio and its proximity to beach and downtown area. It was clean and just what we needed for relaxation and sleep at the end of the day.

Loved it here

Great location, everything you need is around you. The kitchen had everything you needed, bed was comfortable! It did get hot during the day but it cooled down quite quick after opening everything up in the evening and they supplied you with a big fan which was great. Would stay here again!

Perfect location

This property did not disappoint. It was clean and provided everything you needed. It was in a great location- the beach is only about a block away with great views and it was a short walk to the La Jolla cove.

LaJolla bound

This was an excellent choice!! It was a quiet & safe neighborhood! We could walk quickly to the beach! Location was Perfect!! Charming place!! The kitchen was small but was able to cook simple meals. Everything you needed! Loved the small bathroom - all the space was used wisely! I would definitely stay there again!!

Convenient Calmness

Location truly was convenient to beaches, dining, farmers market and shops. The duration of our stay was 1.5 weeks, which worked perfectly. Hosts were quick to respond. Definitely recommend it!

Great Location

Great location near the beach, small but well designed layout for the studio. Loved my stay! There were some minor inconveniences such as no soap/shampoo provided and dirty dishes when we arrived. Expect a bit more considering the cleaning fee they charge.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Yes the bathroom sink is small (but perfect for hand washing!), because right around the corner is the kitchen sink for any larger tasks you might need to accomplish .

52nd anniversary

With no vehicle, we loved the location. We’re able to walk to the windansea beach several times daily, and to the La Jolla cove, Sunday farmers market and even pick up groceries at near by Vons market. Although a small space, we had everything we needed. I prepared a salmon dinner for our son and adult grandchildren who came to visit us.

Great location, cottage well-appointed

This cottage was well-appointed in terms of decorating and thinking of all the little things necessary to have an enjoyable experience. Negatives were the lockbox didn't work (WD-40?) which detained our entry by about 45 minutes, sliding glass door to patio stuck considerably, light bulb missing from lamp nearest the door, toilet paper fixture kept falling down; however, these were minor compared to the location, dog-friendliness and general appearance. Would definitely be interested in staying again and referring others.

Sweet studio in a great location

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting family in San Diego. The property was comfortable and clean, and we liked having a private little patio as well. Good, fast internet — we both worked remotely and were able to be on zoom calls at the same time with no issue. It did tend to get a little stuffy but getting the fan going helped a lot. We had no issues with noise in the alley or from the restaurants nearby.

La Jolla is a typical beach community with alleys that are essentially roads, off every street, with the majority of homes accessed by them. There are no more "delinquent's" than any other affluent San Diego neighborhood.

Small but mighty

The two of us stayed at Seaglass Hideaway for just over a month in February. It was cozy and comfortable--but it might be a little too cozy for that long of a time :) But the location was absolutely marvelous. Beach, check. Groceries, check. Bars, check. Restaurants, check. Downtown shopping, check. Farmers market, check--all easy walking distance. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return (maybe not quite a whole month though).
