Live like a local in a beautiful and charming newly remodeled Studio. Just 2.5 blocks to the sand at gorgeous family friendly Wind n Sea beach. Private yet close to all amenities.

Living and sleeping areas, 1 bathroom and a full kitchen. Room for 1-2 adults to sleep comfortably. Queen size bed with memory foam mattress in the bedroom. The studio also has a comfortable full sized sofa in the living room. Designated parking space. The studio is small, but feels very luxurious and larger than it is. It has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Sand Castle Hideaway is a very special place to stay!

Adorable private patio with shade sails for dining, relaxing and entertaining. BBQ, outdoor dining, cooks kitchen with stove for gourmet meals, washer and dryer. Dog Friendly.

My stay has been amazing...it is quiet, the location is superb and so relaxing. This cozy studio is the base to have a great vacation stay with all the essentials to feel at home away from home. Thank you!!!

Loved the location, very bright and cheery. Loved the covered parking . Always had enough hot water and great water pressure, nice patio table in the back for meals. I wish the propane would have been checked or a spare bottle as there was none and we had purchased steaks with no way to cook as broiler on oven had no rack for the pan. I do agree with other reviews the bed needs upgraded & a deep clean on the comforter (had stains). The biggest complaint was the ants , I sprayed the windex with ammonia but it didn’t help.All in all the place was great for 1 or 2 people. I would recommend it and stay there again

Had we been informed about the ants, we would have brought traps that take care of them quickly. The comforter is encased in a duvet cover that is washed and replaced after each guest, so it's fresh everytime, and we replace regularly. We have instructions on swapping the propane at the store that's a 2 minute walk away (we reimburse the $30 cost).

Super small but as described. Had to keep suitcases in car to save space so don’t bring too much! Lovely location within walking distance to the beach.

Excellent location! Very peaceful and quiet. Eating breakfast on the covered patio was a big highlight for me! I Plan on coming back again. Sharon is a excellent host.

Love this room. The only thing I wish was a portable AC unit (maybe thats the east coast in me). A little thicker bed cushions would be nice too. This place is awesome!

The pictures made the rental look larger ... it truly is about 170 sq. ft.Upgrading the mattress and pillows would be helpful.Overall, it's workable as a place to stay and make your meals if you don't want to eat out all the time. However, you'll be eating while seating on the couch or standing.It has a nice location, a short walk to a beach, and a good launching point to all the sites in La Jolla, San Diego and beyond.

Thanks for your review! We truly made the most of the space and guests often say it feels larger than it is. Don't forget the private patio has a table and chairs for dining when weather permits, which is almost always in La Jolla.

Perfect cure and comfortable

Walking distance to beach. Easy navigation on foot or by car to shopping. Quiet the majority of time. I had everything I needed to cook if I wanted or just heat up food. It was just perfect and I hope to come back.

Comfortable tiny studio in a great neighborhood

Location and price can't be beat. Took our fur baby to the beach every morning, local restaurants were superb. A little cramped, especially the bathroom, but overall it was fine for a week for the two of us and our golden retriever.

Dream Travel Experience

This La Jolla property exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable with local eateries and convenient beach access nearby. The area is safe, and offers plenty of activities. The property itself was clean. Recommend for a memorable stay in La Jolla.

Sandcastle hideaway

My stay here was great! Fast and easy communication with the host, and the unit was well kept. Great location too, just a quick walk to the beach. Only downside was the assigned parking spot being pretty tight. It was doable with my Tacoma, but a larger vehicle could be a real challenge.

Nice little place - excellent location with very quick walk to the beach! It has all the basics. It is very cozy, but we were not inside much. The bed leaves a lot to be desired - it is low to the ground and not very comfortable - could probably be remedied with a new mattress. It got very hot by evening even with the doors open - windows are not screened - but a couple of fans helped. Overall it was a nice little place and the location very good.
