NO AC. Specifically looked for units with AC because this was our Baby Moon and my wife is 28 weeks pregnant and needed the comfort of AC which this unit had listed. Not broken AC, just didn't exist. First night we didn't know what we were getting into so we rolled with it. They said open all windows and back porch and there is enough breeze to cool the unit. Not cool enough to sleep until 1am. Second night we thought if we left all the living room screens open and bedroom windows open throughout the day it'd be a nice temperature at night. Nope. At this time we contacted the host who offered to move us to a different unit with AC but didn't get back to us until near the end of our third night. They said there was no unit available. During the hottest part of the day on the third day, it was actually quite cool in the unit from the tradewinds, but the vacuum effect in the unit felt like taking a nap in a tornado. For our fourth night stay, there was no response from the host. I understand that for a lot of Hawaii houses and condos the wind is the cooling factor. But that is not the same as AC and it should not be listed as an AC listing. Pros: the view is absolutely stunning and the kitchen is very well stocked. That being said, they definitely could upgrade a few appliances. The kitchen sink could use an upgrade. The wood ceiling fans are aesthetically pleasing, but my 150 Home Depot fans create more of a breeze on low than these do on high.
