Beautiful home located 2 blocks to beach with public staircase providing direct access to Alki, with public transportation and free water taxi shuttle. Currently offering longer term stays up to 2 months if there is availability, inquire for pricing. Clean and updated 3 bedroom 1.75 bathroom home with fantastic views. Top floor has full bathroom with jetted tub and two bedrooms, one with Queen bed and other room has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have outstanding views of Puget Sound and mountains. Main floor has a nice updated kitchen with water and mountain views, gas range.. The living room and dining room have water and mountain views, French doors to large deck with gas BBQ, table and chairs. Basement is set up as an open door primary suite with queen bed and queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress, 3/4 bathroom with heated floors and large shower. Also from the master you have French doors to lower patio with chairs and garden space.

A wonderful house for a family retreat. Close to the beach, walking/biking path, and good restaurants. Everything was clean and ready for us. Great deck for dining or just relaxing.

This place was as advertised, clean, updated, great views from the decks. It's a historic feeling house with modern upgrades. Our family of parents and teens were comfortable and able to easily walk down to Alki Beach for exercise or bites. We took the water taxi to Seattle and easily reached T-Mobile Park for an event. We loved coming back to the house to relax. Would stay again!

Absolutely perfect place to stay with the family. Right up from Alki, beautiful views, and a great host. He had seen the grill was in bad shape so replaced in that same day, noticed we had a toddler so cleaned up some old beach toys for him. Can’t say enough good things about Dale. Highly recommend this home!

This was a perfect home base for our family vacation to the Seattle area. Close to downtown, a short walk to the beach, lovely views, well appointed kitchen, and access to some cool local restaurants made this a great house for us. There are a lot of stairs everywhere in Seattle and this house is no different. We had two people in their late 70s in our party, and they managed the steps in the house fine - as they are wide and carpeted. Also, we appreciated the coffee bar set up. We enjoyed our stay!

My family of 6 adults stayed here for 5 nights. It is an older property, but very clean. The water view is slightly obstructed, but gorgeous all the same. We felt right at home! There were plenty of glasses, coffee cups, etc.Alki beach is great fun! We chose to walk, but from the house it is down stairs. Going up is tough, 164 stairs!!It is an easy, short drive also.We would most definitely stay here again!!It is a great place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in mid August. Mom, Dad, 5 teenage boys and 2 labs! We absolutely loved it - house was very clean and spacious for our whole group. It had everything we needed. We struggled to find it at first but Dale was available and once we did, it was exactly what we were hoping for. We rented bikes for the day, rode the water taxi to Seattle, went to pikes place, explored Lincoln park, swam ourselves and the dogs at Luther Burbank park - so much to do & weather was perfect! Thanks for sharing your place with us - ideal location in a laid back Alki community. We hope to be back.

Wonderful stay

A perfect spot, close to family, downtown, and beach. Bed and sheets were so comfortable. Lots of great restaurants close by. Had a great stay.

Perfect for our family

This was our 2nd time in Seattle and this house was great for our family. The views are spectacular and there are some awesome restaurants close by.

Lovely house and great location.

We enjoyed out stay. The house was great and well appointed. Our host was very nice and helpful. We loved the location. Great views of the water, close to restaurants and easy access to Seattle.

Great house, close to the beach

Our stay was amazing. The house was clean and very nicely furnished. The deck gives way to an amazing view and the beach is a short walk down some stairs. There's plenty of great food options nearby as well.

Alki beach bums

Great place with easy access to the beach. 2 days of hanging at the beach then over to Seattle a day for Foo Fighters made this place a perfect location!

Lovely family stay

This house worked great for our three kids and us. You can walk to the beach easily. The streets are a little gnarly for driving, but the views from the house are absolutely gorgeous.

Alki House

The stay was pleasant. We enjoyed the house. Friends and family also enjoyed visiting the house. Alki is a great neighborhood. Excellent location next to the stairs leading to the beach.

Wonderful Alki beach house

Perfect for our family of five. Easy walk down the stairs to the beach and access to multiple restaurants. Had a hard time finding it at first and Dale was easily reachable and responsive all weekend. Perfect accommodations and great views for exploring the Seattle area.

West Seattle house

Nice house and very comfortable. Convenient for travelers who want to stay close to Seattle sites without staying downtown. Narrow, hilly streets were a little tricky to navigate. Would stay there again.

Alki Beach

Our family enjoyed everything about our rental house, the view, deck with a grill, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen since we cooked many nights and easy access by walking to Alki Beach. So many great adventures so close, whale watching, Mt Rainer hiking, swimming and fire pits at Alki Beach. Our host was helpful and highly responsive.

Scenic Serenity

Perfect views of the sound with the mountains on the horizon in a very attractive and comfortable setting. The single lane roads were not too challenging getting there, and the carport was easy to access. The arrangements were very welcoming and even with our group of 8 there was plenty of space.

We purchased this home in 2005 one month before we got married and then went through a 3 year remodel taking the home down to the studs with new wiring, plumbing, windows, doors, floors and more. We raised two boys in our home and we enjoyed the views, beach, neighborhood and neighbors. We purchased a home close by to begin a new remodel project.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The view from this home is wonderful. The dead end street is like being away from the city with off street covered parking for one car, or two small cars and usually plenty of street parking for a few more even during the busy summer years. People who drive on this road either live here, visiting our awesome neighbors or are lost. One doesn't just drive our road to get somewhere.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We fell in love with the view, character of the home and amazing street. You do not feel like you are close to the city and we see eagles, blue heron, osprey and I even saw an orca whale from my upper floor bedroom window.
