Beautifully maintained Pemaquid Lake front home with dock on 1.5 acre lot. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 8 people, 2 queen beds and 4 twin beds. Spacious kitchen and living room. Outdoor patio and eating area. All amenities included, sheets, towels, fully stocked kitchen, wifi, TV via streaming, and laundry. Canoe is available. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the loons and watch the eagles fly. Large backyard area for the kids to play. Close to town and activities.

Beautiful property, the dock is perfect for relaxing and fishing, or launching kayaks from. It's in a very quiet little cove, loaded with panfish and bass. Secluded and peaceful, great view of the stars if you turn the lights off and sit on the deck. Not far from town, and only 1/2 hour from boothbay harbor and pemaquid beach, so easy home base for excursions.

Lovely home, centrally located

Excellent location for day trips north and south of Damariscotta. Property was just as described for our girls trip, couldn't have asked for more.

Thank you for your stay, and for your recommendation. There is always some maintenance that needs to be done by the end of the season with wear and tear. I must say, I am confused by the water view comment. With 200 feet of water frontage, the view from the home is expansive from every room except the small bedroom (and bathrooms- all facing the driveway side of the house). It's unfortunate that it did not meet your expectation, and is as pictured on the listing. Take care!

Peaceful Getaway

Four friends who all needed to get away for rest, relaxation, and fun! This VRBO fit all our needs! Very pretty home on a beautiful lake. Had everything we needed!

I rented this house for 6 adults as we attended a family wedding at Wanderwood. The location was perfect—close to Wanderwood, grocery store, and area restaurants. The house was clean and very comfortable with lots of space for all of us to relax in. We found the beds to be comfortable and bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen was very well outfitted with everything one needs to prepare meals, including many spices, etc. The host was very responsive and accommodating to a last minute request to add a night to our stay. I highly recommend this property!

Lovely house in Maine

We had a wonderful long weekend with family- the location of the house on a quiet lake was perfect. We enjoyed the water and the canoe as well as the local area. The house is lovely with an excellently equipped kitchen. We all wished we could have stayed longer

Perfect spot

Stayed with my husband and brothers-in-law on a weekend of crazy snow! Beautiful spot, can’t wait to stay here again and see the water. Beautiful home, nice kitchen and laundry, could easily stay here longer term! Unique layout perfect for a group

Beautiful

The house is stocked with all of your needs, very clean and was great for our family. We cooked all of our dinners in the house like it was our own! Having a canoe provided was wonderful and the lake is beautiful. We loved our week here and highly recommend this house!

On Pemaquid Pond

My two sisters and I had a sisters stay at this house. The view of the pond was wonderful and it was a short walk to the shore. The house itself was great, nicely decorated, beautifully designed. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, quiet location

A wonderful home with a very nice dock to tie up your boat or spend the day relaxing on the water. Owner is wonderful to work with - responsive, accommodating and answers any questions you may have. Would go back for sure!

Wonderful lakeside house

This home was perfect for our getaway. We were in the woods and on the beautiful lake in a completely private setting. We really enjoyed both the house and being out in the yard and on the water. We even caught some fish while we were there. Would definitely rent this place again.

Lovely home on beautiful Pemaquid Pond

This is a beautiful home in a great location. The bedrooms (particularly those upstairs) are beautiful, well-appointed and comfortable and all the features around the house are tasteful and very well-maintained. We especially enjoyed the deck and spacious common areas, perfect for large family dinners. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Slice of heaven

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The setting is spectacular right on the lake, the home is so comfortable and cozy, and it has all that you need to feel at home. It is secluded, but close to Damriscotta and other towns. We loved our time here. My favorite time of day was my morning coffee with a book on the dock.

Just what we needed

We are a family of six and we wanted to experience the beautiful state of Maine. The location was perfect for us to stay 2 nights and explore the area. Most important was that it allowed us, as a larger family, to be together in one spot during the evening and nighttime hours. The house is beautifully decorated, well stocked and very comfortable. We appreciated the opportunity to visit and find such a great home!

Great house for a Family vacation

My sisters and I with our parents rented the house to attend a family wedding nearby. The house was comfortable and had a great open living, dining and kitchen space. The house is down a dirt road and has lake access so it feels very private. The weekend was rainy but the house had great views and a closet full of board games for us to enjoy. It would be a great place for a family vacation.

A Week In Maine

Really enjoyed our stay! Everything was as described. I would stay there again. The only thing that needed attention was that the pots and pans in the kitchen needed replaced a long time ago. They were in poor condition. Everything else was great!

So Relaxing

We headed up during Hurricane Ophelia and Saw Some great Wave action along the route. Arrived to a beautiful yet comfortable home on a lake. The beds were so comfortable and the living space, all open to the kitchen with a deck and windows facing the lake. It was heaven. We rowed out on the lake, shopped in Damariscotta and in Bath, visited some orchards, HEARD the LOONS several days and nights. What a week!!

Peaceful retreat

The serene and peaceful atmosphere of this house and property were exactly what we needed to decompress. The house is beautifully designed with comfort and charm in mind. It is impeccably clean and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We loved the private space and the gorgeous dock and grassy areas to sit and read. It’s an easy drive to Damariscotta and other towns along the coast. Lots of outdoor activities and restaurants with carry out make this a great choice with precautions in mind for safe travel. Great stay. Easy booking and communication. We hope to be back soon

Pemaquid Lake Long Weekend

We had an excellent long weekend at Pemaquid Lake. We overcame a day one power outage due to a nearby traffic accident taking out a power pole and line by visiting friends on nearby Biscay Pond. The home was in very good condition, the WIFI service was strong, the home is convenient to all services in nearby Damariscotta and was well stocked. We had excellent Fall weather, albeit very windy. There is much to do in the area but a couple of the highlights were visits to Marshall Point and the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouses. We enjoyed a dinner at Schooner Landing in downtown Damariscotta right on the river.

Great for a family get together.

Six of us spent a long weekend together … so much fun having time with our kids and 10 month old granddaughter! The house was great for this purpose. We swam in the pond, had loons visit and enjoyed the area. The one area that needed attention was the outside deck/porch. The furniture was wet and moldy and the tables were filthy. We live in Maine so we know it’s hard to keep up with the weather but we would recommend more of the plastic Adirondack chairs and fewer cushions … or have cover ms for them!

Glad you had a nice stay! Sorry to hear about the outdoor furniture, it can be challenging to keep dry. Plastic is a good option, and I do have to rely on the tenants staying to bring the cushions in during rain, or they will get wet!

Attractive home

Tastefully decorated and well equipped home in secluded area. 30 minutes from Booth Bay. Would recommend Owner did not respond to one question. Not a big problem but we did expect a response
