New remodeled kitchen and bathroom Comfy, and clean home in great location. 3-bedroom 2 bathroom. Large deck, with BBQ dining seating, fire-pit and lounge and great view of the Carquinez straits, sail boats, ships, bridge and waterfront. Fully stocked kitchen with gas stove and oven. Cozy fireplace and reading chair, laundry, ironing board and iron. Children friendly toys. Ferry a few minutes away from Vallejo waterfront will take you to and from San Francisco, walking distance to fisherman's wharf and other sightseeing access points, or about 40 miles by car, but has traffic, tolls, parking issues. Napa Valley wine country is about 25 miles from house. Lots of other touring information is at the house. Will be happy to leave you additional information if request.

A fantastic “home base”

We came in to celebrate a friend’s bday (from Philadelphia and Cleveland). Our friend lives in Vallejo so it was very convenient and a good “home base” to do some exploring (Napa and San Fran via the ferry). The house itself was clean, very well stocked with everything you could need, and thoughtful touches. Will let friends know about the place if they are visiting Northern CA!

A very nice place

comfy beds, robes provided, treats, plenty of dishes, silverware for guests, lovely view from large deck with plenty of seating, lots of bathroom products available, nice neighborhood, many plants and greenery, double driveway - highly recommend the rental

Everything here was wonderful. Everything was very clean and the location for us was ideal. I stay in this area every month or two and this will be someplace I will rent again without hesitation.

Wonderful home away from home

Wonderful outside spaces

Four friends gathered as we have done at least yearly for over 60 years. The outside spaces were wonderful for meals, and the back deck was magical for sipping while watching the sunsets and enjoying the bay area ambiance. All the beds were comfortable, cuddly robes, plenty of pots and pans and cooking accoutrements. Dina was welcoming, responsive and helpful. Great Bay Area location, quick drive to Vallejo Ferry, the waterfront and easy access to wider possibilities. Safe and welcoming neighborhood for walks. It was a delightful stay.

Fantastic place for San Francisco area

Property was great with really good facilities, in a very nice area, and the terrace was awesome. We both drove and took the ferry to San Francisco and both quite practical. Communication with the host was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed. Recommended!

Awesome Views

Cant beat the views from the deck. The house was a little crowded with glassware, knick-knacks, and too much in the kitchen, but the owner did provide robes, toiletries, coffee, extra towels, etc. The location was perfect to use as a home base for our daughter's wedding.

Amazing....a real WOW factor

1st impressions were WOW..... every little detail was thought of....perfumes, aftershave, mouthwash, shampoos.......every facility you would need. Amazingly comfortable beds. Was really sad to leave.

The View

The location was perfect for us. We were in town to help friends who live nearby, but one of our party took the ferry over to San Francisco, and it was an easy drop-off. It was also close to downtown Benicia for some great restaurants. We had everything we needed to make our breakfasts. But, the view! The view! We slept with the curtains open.

Patio view is really nice

This was a comfortable house for my elderly father and I to spend a week after Christmas. It is in a very quiet location where walking the neighborhood was great (between rain storms). Safeway and a few small restaurants are not far. The view is beautiful and I loved looking out the large sliding glass doors in the bedrooms. We did some sightseeing and appreciated being close to Benicia. Mare Island was intriguing and warrants another visit. Dina was fantastic about responding to questions. I would stay there again.

Amazing View

Beautiful little house. Very comfortable beds. View was amazing. Firepit was so nice because it was cold at night. Firepit was very quirky and annoying to turn on but I was able to do it. It's kind of a thing with certain fire pits. Lots of dishes and pots and stuff for the kitchen. Wonderful experience. Will definitely book here again because in-laws live in the next city when we go to see them.

Charming home with a fabulous view

We stayed at this property over the Christmas holiday and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The home is well-kept and convenient to stores, restaurants and other services. The highlight of this charming home is its unique and beautiful view; it is mesmerizing. Our host made it clear that she was available to help insure a pleasant stay. Though we did not need to contact her, it was clear that thought and care went into assuring our holiday stay was both pleasant and festive. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a romantic or family oriented get-away.

Wonderful property with beautiful views

We decided to stay in Vallejo to be close to Berkeley and the Napa region. This property did not disappoint. When we traveled, it was always opposite the commuters, so traffic was very reasonable. It was a bit of a trek to Napa, but they were great drives, allowing us to visit places we haven't been to. Super convenient to groceries and restaurants. Lastly, the property itself was great. We used many of the amenities like the grill, fire pit, espresso machine, and many other great appointments. I would highly recommend.

Vallejo Stay

The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Dina was very nice and checked in with us to make sure all was ok. The views were amazing from the back deck. We enjoyed our mornings on the deck with coffee and our evenings sitting around the fire pit and a cocktail. It was very convenient for us that shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc was all provided. This saved us a lot of room in our luggage for souvenirs and wine from wine country. I would definitely recommend staying in this home. If I am ever back in this area I will stay here again. Thank you!!

Family vacation

We’ve never been to San Francisco before. The oldest daughter moved to Vallejo last October, so we had started to plan on a visit/vacation. That way we could all be together. Ride our first ferry boat, cable car, and trolley. The city is amazing! We walked thru Chinatown, did the Alcatraz tour, I highly recommend that! Pier 39 with the sea lions! Golden Gate Park was really cool! And getting to see Bison for the first time ever! We did a wine tasting in the Suisun valley, very cool! And spent the day in Vallejo and visited the Benicia waterfront. Our house was Amazing! The balcony has the perfect view of the inlet, got to see lots of ships coming and going. The bridge, can’t remember the name, was really cool!

Hidden Gem!

We had a girlfriend's weekend ad we could not have found a better place. Great location and great amenities, It was well stocked with good coffee and the host provided good creamer. I was impressed with how clean the home was. The floors were cleaner than most VRBO's. And yes, I do check. Cleanliness is a big deal and felt that they put a serious effort into it. Music to my ears. The host was very responsive to any questions I had. We had everything we needed to have a memorable weekend! We all agreed that we will return together and with our own families,

so much to see and do within the area, but if you would like to go skiing and visit the Nevada casinos or explore the High Sierra mountains they are only 3-4 hours away. IN THE SAME DAY you can start off with a picnic on THE COASTAL BEACHES or SKIING AND DINNER IN THE SIERRAS.
