We absolutely loved this property. It was exactly what we needed. The dining table was perfect for our board games and we ate out on the deck. The deck is where we spent most of our time as it was so relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets was a treat! It was close to stores and restaurants but still felt like we were out in the woods. We will be going back I’m sure!

We had an awesome time at this cabin. There was plenty of space so we never felt crowded. We enjoyed sitting outside on the beautiful deck and listening to the birds and watching the deer. The kitchen was well apointed and we were able to cook meals and enjoy family time together. We were able to bring our dog on her first vacation trip- the baby gates on the porch allowed her to roam freely on the deck and enjoy being outside with us. The home was clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be back. Thank you for hosting us!

Perfect escape from the heat of the valley! There are incredible hiking trails near which was our daily walk.

Cabin / home is very nice however there were minor issues. Fireplace did not work, had to call owner who had me contact handyman who walked me through the setup (gas fireplace). Top floor receives heat via convection, does not have ducting which causes the 2nd floor bedroom to be colder than the rest of the home by a fair degree. 2nd floor loft does not have this issue and is the coziest bedroom area overall. A few extra blankets or a space heater easily solves this shortcoming in the 2nd floor bedroom. Towels were clean but left in dryer from prior guests. Pots and pans are in need of replacement. Both owner and handyman were gracious and responded quickly. The area where the cabin is located overlooks the lake and the area is quiet and serene. Other cabins / homes nearby were well kept and people quiet after 9:30pm, before then it is quiet chit chat and laughter from late afternoon into the early evening. Very welcoming place, neighbors were kind, affable, a real joy. A generally enjoyable experience with a few, minor hiccups. I would book again.

This is a brand new unit and provides an alternative to the central heat and air downstairs. We are so happy you enjoyed your time at our cabin. We look forward to you coming back to visit. The property was wonderful! The house had everything we needed. The layout of the house was amazing- with balconies and big porches on every side. My 2 teenage daughters loved the space upstairs and the balcony leading right out of the upstairs room. The location was perfect- such a quiet area, even though other houses are around we never heard anyone else! We loved being able to walk right out back and find trails that led all over. We walked to woodland park, which was not far. Every night my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the big patio, where we watched deer go down to the lake each evening. It was exactly what we were looking for! We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at this cabin and overall had a good time, but I want to share some honest feedback to help future guests set expectations.The cabin itself was very nice—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. Upstairs, there was a Pac-Man arcade game and a football game that my kids really enjoyed, which was a fun bonus.Before booking, I was told the cabin was by a lake, as the ad says "lake views" but in reality it’s more like a small pond. It also appears to be significantly drained right now (roughly 30 feet lower than it may have been previously), and at its deepest point it only seemed a few feet deep. My husband and son were really looking forward to fishing, but there were no fish and not enough water to make it possible, so that was disappointing. There were geese and ducks that come daily. And we did see deer on the property. We also asked in advance if the property was secluded and were told yes, but it is not secluded. There are several nearby cabins, and it didn’t feel like we were “in the middle of the woods” as described.Another point of confusion was the fire pit. The photos show a fire pit below the cabin, but that actually belongs to a neighboring property. Even though local fire restrictions had been lifted, we were told not to have a fire on the property.The property itself is still nice, and we did enjoy our stay. I would just recommend future guests not plan their trip around the lake.

All of the lakes in the White Mountains have a problem this year with low water levels. I have heard this is the same problem in the Valley at Lake Pleasant and surrounding areas. This home is in a gorgeous location with lake view. We saw deer each day of our stay, drove into town, which is a short jaunt. We had issues with the fireplace and getting it going, but owner contacted me immediately and walked us through. It was a lovely family getaway before my surgery. Just what we needed!

My family and I came up the day after Christmas for a week. The cabin was very well appointed and cozy. It has a great covered deck for enjoying the outdoors in the weather. We also enjoyed deer that would come through almost daily. Lisa the property manager was very helpful and had great communication. I definitely will be back again.
