This was our 6th year at this property and we have always enjoyed ourselves. Secluded enough to feel you’re the only ones in the world but close enough to shops, restaurants, golf courses, etc. to take a day and get in some other fun. Can’t wait to check our calendars and plan next year.

We loved our stay at this little gem! It was a great jumping off point for many adventures in the area with our 2 young children. We spent much of our mornings and evenings on the beautiful porch with magnificent views. We also loved going down to the beach and collecting rocks, swimming (water shoes needed!) and watching the gorgeous sunset. We hope to be back one day!

The house is lovely and has a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. There is a tidal pool down by the water where we watched frogspawn hatch and migrate the week we were there. The host is friendly and accessible. Highly recommend for a quiet week surrounded by natural beauty.

The cabin got very hot at night making it hard to sleep even with the floor fans. Our phones only had around 1 bar service most of time at cabin. But was a very beautiful place

What an incredible piece with majestic views, and private if you’re looking for that. It was the perfect location for us to get to Munising (make sure to ride the @riptideride!), Macinac island and back to Harbor Springs and Petosky.

Beautiful Location

The cabin is spacious and well equipped, had absolutely everything we needed. The location was great for U.P. day trips, or just staying put and relaxing.

This was our 7th stay at this cabin (we've visited in both spring and fall); & we've been visiting this gem of a property since Fall 2021. It is EXQUISITE. We frequent because it's so wonderful, and wonderfully relaxing.Perfectly Up-North Michigan, perfectly appointed cabin, perfectly situated on the lot--we stay here as an artists' retreat, to be creative, so we are delighted to settle in and see zero other humans while we're here. Plenty of freighters to watch cross the Straits, which is super cool!The beach is incredible--it's rocky, because you're on the Strait, which is cool--and the views morning, afternoon, and evening are fabulous!This is one of our top-3 places to sit for a bit (the other two are in Canada, so.):)

Second time at this property. Great location. Quiet and relaxing. Owner always responded quickly with answers to questions I had. Would stay there again and again. The 24yo boys that were with me loved it this year as much as last!

Absolute Heaven!

We just got home yesterday after staying here for 6 days. It was absolutely gorgeous! The view and sound of Lake Michigan is great. You can even see Mackinaw Bridge from the shore. Would stay again!

This is our perfect getaway spot. We always feel like we’re “coming home” when we pull in the driveway. Mary is the consummate host; always makes sure we are welcome and comfortable. This is our fifth year and I can’t wait for our sixth!

Beautiful place and area! I wanted to stay longer!

Place is better than described. My daughter, her son, husband and myself enjoyed a week. Very relaxing low humidity and simply beautiful!

Nice getaway

This house has a great view of the lake with privacy. My family and I enjoyed our visit. It’s a great place to sit back and relax.

Perfect spot!

This is a great cabin! Secluded yet so close to everything. Incredible views, so comfortable. This was our third stay; we’ll be contacting Mary in a few months to schedule next year’s week.

We had our 2nd stay this year at this cabin—we’ve made the trip 1-2 times annually for 5 years now! It is MAGICAL. It’s the U.P. at its best: log cabin, surrounded by trees, abundant wildlife (bald eagles! Woodpeckers! Loons! Etc.!). And the water of the straight view of Bic Mac from the beach BLISS.The cabin is spacious, the back deck is huge, the water view is stunning, & WOW the stars at night are unspeakably brilliant.AND, the water is the star of the show here.We’re both musicians, so we visit this place as often as we can as an artists’ retreat—you can go your entire stay with wonderful quiet, & not see another human.Bring binoculars or a telescope to zoom in on the freighters passing by. Bring beach chairs to sit on the gorgeous, & gorgeously rocky, private beach to read. We often bring floaties to anchor to the shore & float & watch the fabulous sunsets! P.S. staring at the water is like a pipe-cleaner for the brain. Grill & firepit are great, kitchen is clean & spacious. It’s the perfect amount of space for a getaway. Reminder: it is SUPER quiet on this property—no loud neighbors partying, no crowded beach. It’s sublime.This place is a GEM,(We love it so much we keep going back.)Also, go look at the water for a week!

It was a quiet, peaceful cabin to stage our UP vacation. Great staging point for out Mackinac Island, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, and Beach (sand dunes) vacation. Unplugging the family was need for all of us.

St Ignace Cabin and Car show

This was an amazing cabin and met all of our needs! We loved being away from town but close to all the action of the car show! The views from the backyard were beautiful! We loved exploring everyday and coming back to chill at night and didn’t miss having WiFi at all!

Loved it!

The cabin has a well equipped kitchen with all the essential dishes for cooking. The view is amazingly beautiful. So glad we stayed here.

Perfect spot!

This property is perfect! Close enough to town, but such a private place to enjoy campfires under the stars and coffee on the porch in the early morning. So comfortable! Can’t wait to schedule our getaway in 2022!

Perfect getaway!

After several stays here, I just can’t wait to get back! So comfortable, great location; secluded yet close to the city and other amenities. Although all you need is a load of firewood and good company. And Mary is the consummate host.

Peaceful Stay

A nice peaceful vacation rental! Great communication with the host. Beautiful scenery as the rental is nestled in the wilderness. FYI: Bring plenty of bottled water unless you are accustomed to well water.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

Absolutely beautiful property. The cabin was ideal for all our needs. Excellent location, convenient to so many activities. The owner was great handling the one minor issue we experienced checking in and made sure we were taken care of quickly. This was by far our best family vacation filled with breathtaking views and unforgettable memories. We would love to return year after year!
