This property has been a favorite for all our guests! The location makes an amazing getaway or adventure home-base: 3 bed, 2 Bath condo w/large garage for all sort of vehicles in a serene Moab community, close to town, national parks, & trails. The Ladder House has incredible outdoor views, w/ a homey & comfortable place to snooze, cook, cool off/warm up, + relax when you come back inside. The property is located 8 minutes south of downtown Moab & is close to restaurants, shops, & trailheads.

"The Ladder House" is our dream come true, and with it comes all the great things that make Moab, UT and the American canyon-country such an amazing place. We want to share our home with you, so it can be your own during your trip. We self-manage the property, take care of everything, and rely on the efforts of the best cleaners in Moab to help.

Anyone who visits Moab knows that there is no where else on Earth like it; you'll make memories in the incredible outdoor landscape, while enjoying a comfortable place to rest when you finally have to come back in. The Ladder House is located just 5-8 minutes south of downtown Moab, Utah, and is conveniently close to restaurants, shops, & trailheads.

The clean and comfortable atmosphere and amenities of our 'Ladder House' will be nothing less than what you'd expect. The Moab area offers renown mountain biking trails, world-famous Jeep Slickrock trails, National Parks, and unforgettable white-water rafting experiences. After an invigorating hike through Arches, or mountain bike ride at Sand Flats Recreation Area, a trip to the hot tub and pool will prove to be a refreshing ending to the day. The rim views from the private patio will be a constant reminder of the beautiful area you've chosen to spend your vacation.

Our house has been outfitted with everything you'll need to make you comfortable during your stay. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second room has a queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. Finally, the living room has 2 couches - one of which is a pull out sofa. We've updated all the photographs and artwork from our own collection and travels in SE Utah!

Each of the bedrooms also has it's own flat screen TV. The kitchen includes those 'extra' items so you can create an exquisite dinner and set a beautiful table to make your vacation memorable. You will get a restful and relaxing night's sleep nestled in the high-quality linens and down pillows.

The two-car garage provides you with a safe place to store any vehicles you may bring on your trip, such as your mountain bikes, jeeps, ATVs, or family van. The garage is wide to fit large vehicles- there is also a driveway and street parking for extra large rigs or trailers.

We could not have been happier with this rental as our base camp for Arches and Canyonlands. Proximity to the pool was great for the HOT afternoons. Mark was a fantastic host, responding immediately to questions and providing recommendations. Hope we get to come back!

The price per day was way more than the property was worth. Very light on amenities. I have stayed at other properties in Moab, most at the same community, that have little things like coffee, tea and even candy available for the renters. This one also has so many do's and do not's sign that it make you feel like a child. We will never rent from this renter again.

Hi Billy, I truly, sincerely apologize that you thought our accommodations were insufficient, but I hope you had a good time nonetheless! However, I am curious what you perceive "standard" amenities to be? We always have our cabinets full of coffee, tea, tons of cooking ingredients, etc. so I am not sure if you overlooked this (?) We have been hosting guests in Moab for 10 years and never raised our rates above norm, nor received feedback from a dissatisfied guest --- Over several platforms we're hovering around ~5 stars. As far as the "Do/Do-Not signs"; I am not even sure you stayed in our property!? We ask guests to: 1. Clean the barbeque grill if you use it (most don't but thats ok) 2. Take off your shoes in the house (most don't) 3. Take out the garbage at the end of their stay, AND 4. Do not take our Moab guidebooks from the collection! I really don't know what possibly could make you feel like a child? No matter what, Moab is our favorite place in the world and we hope you and others come to experience it.

Great property. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and linens. This property has everything you need. Would definitely consider booking this again if I return to MOAB.

Great place

The house is close to town but I’m a quiet neighborhood. They had all the amenities you needed, and the beds were comfy! We would stay here again.

Great place in Moab

The property had everything we needed including tons of extra towels, pillows if needed. Check in time was flexible. Very nice place to stay when exploring the area.

Overall very comfortable. Just a few observations though. Main bathroom toilet seat should be replaced. Coffee pot was old and obviously had not been cleaned, top of the pot was burned and took about 20 minutes to brew. Master bed linens (pillow case was raveling). Nice unit, will come again.

Hey Terry, thanks for your feedback- I hope you and your crew had a great time in Moab, and I apologize some of the items in the home weren't satisfactory! We are actually installing new higher seat, ADA-compliant toilets in the condo this month. Also, you're correct that the coffee machine is old (but has been extremely durable), so I just ordered a new one to give future guests an alternative option. Lastly, we are constantly buying new bed linens so I will speak with our cleaners about making sure to never put on anything worn-out. We take all feedback to heart, so I appreciate the honesty. Moab is a wonderful town!

This rental and Moab are wonderful! I would highly recommend this VRBO rental! It is extremely comfortable and a wonderful place to come back to after you visit all the incredible parks. I would like to come back for a longer stay in the future.

This is a clean, comfortable home. It’s conveniently located just outside of the down town Moab area, so it’s pretty quiet, yet close to everything you need. Master bed was comfortable and that is very important. I’ve stayed in homes in the past that had horrible beds, so that’s a huge plus. The owner was quick to answer all questions and was accommodating. Would highly recommend this cozy home.

Some towels and pillowcases were frayed. We were told the pool and spa were open, however only the spa was. Which was really disappointing with 85⁰ weather most of our stay. Dishwasher did not actually clean the dishes so we had to handwash everything, and it served as a glorified drying rack. Despite all of that, our stay overall was good. We had plenty of space for our group of 7. And would stay again.

Adventure oasis

The condo is spacious, quiet and comfortable. And it’s located right next to the pool! It was perfect for our family of four as we explored Arches and Canyonlands. The washer/dryer was super helpful and there were paper towels and TP on arrival.

Fabulous place to stay after lots of hiking

Beautiful house in a perfect location for exploring Moab. After long days of hiking or rafting, my friend and I loved coming back to the house to chill and still see the beautiful surroundings from the window. Everything was communicated clearly and the house had everything you could need for a stay. A short drive to Arches allowed for early morning hikes without having to get up super early .

Perfect in every way

The perfect lodging location when visiting Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. The condo was equipped with every convenience with a great layout to accomondate multiple couples. The host was very responsive and quickly addressed all questions. Highly recommended.

Our first visit to Moab was in 2009 during a father-and-son trip. After running on the back trails of Arches National Park, Seeing the magnificent rock formations in Canyonlands for the first time in our lives, and enjoying a great dinner at the Moab Brewing Company, we both fell in love with the town and the incredible SE Utah region.

We've introduced this great place to our entire families, spouses, and closest friends; Where plenty of memories have been made. Although we live far apart, we visit often and frequently make Moab our meeting place.

We're both busy in our respective professions, but it has been a dream to own our own piece of Moab for years. Alex is COO for a biotech company in Ohio, while Mark is a battery engineer in southern California. Our family has lived and visited many places in the US, but none as unique as Moab, UT. Alex loves the water activities in town, and is an avid fisherman, while Mark is a die-hard distance trail runner. Alex might prefer casting into Oowah Lake in the LaSal Mountains, while Mark enjoys running up the Mesas around the Amasa Back trail system just west of town.

The opportunity to purchase the Ladder House from the prior owners was sudden, unexpected, and spontaneous! Mark was camping in Moab on vacation (his 16th trip to Moab) when Alex jokingly sent him an email informing him that the prior owners wanted to sell 'The Ladder House' condominium. They graciously offered their prior guests the first opportunity. We had stayed in the condo years before - and in the neighborhood multiple times- so we knew it was a beautiful quality spot.

After much thought, soul-searching, and calculation, we realized this was simply the best opportunity to finally purchase our own family vacation pad in Moab. We hope that when you come, you'll agree.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Simply put, the Ladder House is in a quiet cul de sac in in awesome and well maintained neighborhood just 6 minutes south of town. There is a small farm 40 feet to the north, and the pool is just 40 feet to the east! The location is perfect.

The views from EVERY room in the home are either of the LaSal Mountains or the West Rim rocks of Moab, thus the large windows are a special touch. The sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, and thunderstorms viewed from the unit (and the porch) are fantastic. It is well decorated, spacious, and has an open floor plan.

We enjoy that all the same appliances and creature comforts ( like good A/C in the summer) are found in the Ladder House, just like in our own homes. The garage is a huge plus to store your vehicles, rather than some hotel parking lot alternative!

All the cooking equipment you'll need is on hand, as well as blankets, bedding, and storage.
