Beautiful mountain views, an abundance of wildlife, and close to town!
Very spacious 3 bedrooms and 2 baths country cottage (Additional efficiency, 1 bedroom/1 bathroom available to rent ) overlooking the Blueridge Mountains. Large open family room and kitchen. 2 Queen beds, Bunk bed with two twins, and a day bed (2 twins.) Additional 1/1 available for large parties (not rented out alone, only as part of this vrbo). Private pond, 170 acres with lots of trails to explore. Firepit, basketball hoop, swing set, fort, pickleball court, fishing, and more.

Lovely property! Very comfortable stay.

The location was convenient enough to get to all the fun tubing, brewery and hiking activities...yet it was so perfectly remote where you could really "get away". The hosts were so very gracious and welcoming, making sure that we had all our family needed for the stay.

VMI Reunion Getaway

Beautiful place and perfect for our VMI reunion with some old friends. We also thoroughly enjoyed the "neighbors"--a mama bear and her 3 cubs. Definitely on our list for a place to return....thank you so much!

Amazing views!

We loved the great mountain view! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. We enjoyed playing pickle ball and exploring the property. It was close to Lexington, but felt very far from everywhere! Calm and relaxing visit!

Wonderful spot; gracious hosts; a Hit!

We had a too short delightful time in Lexington. The property was on a hill over looking the Shenandoah Valley; every effort was made to welcome us; there’s a small enclave of chickens, turkeys, miniature donkeys, and other creatures the children loved; the surrounding Maurrey River valley was fun to explore and enjoy-we loved it!

Perfect get away

Erin is so hospitable and a great host. The property is gorgeous….we wished it didn’t rain while we were there, so we could have explored the trails. Everything was just perfect.

Mountain Views and family farm fun

Wonderful quick getaway to be out of the city. Gorgeous Mountain Views and cute farm animals and activities for kids. Lots of nearby outdoor fun as well. Erin and Doug were friendly and attentive hosts. I would recommend staying here!

Great stay

This place was clean, confortable and perfect for our group, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind to us - they were even better than the place. Two very minor downsides - it's a bit of a drive into Lexington (about 6 miles, and a slow drive on country roads) where our activities were, and the high windows let in light earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. But those were minor to us. We'd stay here again, without question.

Graduation/Family Weekend

I wanted a place where we could all be together for my daughters college graduation What a wonderful find! This is the best place we have stayed at. The cottage is large and family friendly. The grandkids enjoyed playing outside on the rope swing and seeing the farm animals. We cant wait to come back again!

A dream vacation for a child

We had such a nice time here. The setting is beautiful. There was so much for my grandson to explore. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. We really enjoyed seeing the farm animals and having farm fresh eggs.

Lovely!

Lovely property with an amazing view and the owners were so sweet to my kids & let them feed the animals and hold the baby chickens. Tons of outdoor activities for the kiddos and the animals were a huge hit! Will be coming back again!

Amazing stay for a family

This is the perfect mountain getaway property, especially with kids. Our 4-year old LOVED the swings, trampoline, toys, etc. We all enjoyed the farm animals, firepit, and beautiful views of the mountains. The property owners were so thoughtful and prompt with communication. We are already planning a return trip.

Amazing property/home + amazing hosts/family = perfection?

Our family had a wonderful experience with this home: the layout, amenities, and TOYS and FARM ANIMALS. Erin and Doug were fantastic hosts. We were in for a family wedding and everyone one of our visitors experienced this great place. WANT to come back ASAP.

The property was just what we needed and the view was incredible. When we got there, kids did not touch their electronic games and just enjoyed what they had at the farm They were outside constantly.

Little Details Make A Big Difference

Little details like relaxing music playing when the family arrived and the invitation to take anything from the beautiful garden made all of us feel so welcomed and comfortable. There were fun activities for all ages and gorgeous views. Highly recommend for families looking to get away from the business of life and enjoy spending time relaxing and playing together.

I have stayed in several locations in Lexington and this was by far the best. Erin and Doug went above and beyond all expectations. The property provided everything we needed. We were able to have family meals, take long walks and enjoy the animals on the property. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful views and great for families!

We truly enjoyed our stay - the house is beautiful and the views are even better. We were traveling with an infant and toddler, and this was the perfect place to stay. You can tell Erin and Doug are parents, because they’ve made a place that is wonderful and comfortable for kids and adults. Communication and check in were a total breeze, and the house was spotlessly clean. You’re close enough to town that a trip to the grocery store isn’t a giant pain, but far enough in the country to enjoy it!

Amazing place!

We stayed here because my sister was getting married at big spring farm and it was amazing! The place was very clean, open and beautiful. The outside views were breathtaking and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Erin, the owner, was so nice and let us enjoy playing with her animals at the farm while offering us fresh eggs and fruit. She let us check out an hour later and was always available. I highly recommend staying at this house 😊

Wonderful view

We came to Turkey Hill Farm with friends of ours, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for two families with kids. The property is just lovely with stunning views of the mountains, and very easy access to Lexington and the natural Bridge. Our hosts were always available if we needed anything. We really appreciated all of the little touches like bubbles, swings, stuffed animals, and farm fresh eggs that made it all the more special.

Loving Christian family. We fell in love with the people in Lexington the first time we visited and decided it was the best place to raise our three children. We traded the sunny beaches in Florida for the cool mountain breezes.
