Located just 5 miles from Lexington, Virginia, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute and the Virginia Horse Center. Situated in tranquil seclusion on 96 acres of woods, but minutes from Interstates 81 and 64.

Master suite with jacuzzi. Second bedroom with queen bed and private full bath.
Third queen Murphy bed in loft. Living room has large screen cable television and fireplace. High speed internet. Full kitchen. Full laundry.

We do not have a doorbell camera or surveillance at the cabin. We do have a camera at the road entry to the property. This is .6 miles from the cabin.

Cabin in the Woods

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin in the beautiful Virginia woods. It was such a cozy, comfortable place to enjoy a winter weekend. Its close proximity to Lexington made it even better. We hope to visit again and see this beautiful place in another season. An all around 5 star experience!

Lovely Cabin Experience

We spent three days at the cabin. It was everything we'd hoped for. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Bathrooms were well-stocked, and the bed was so comfortable! Our hosts went above and beyond to fulfill my husband's request for local flowers for our anniversary.

Quiet Getaway

Lovely house. Secluded and private. Easy check in and check out. Very clean at check in, plenty of towels, soap, dishes, etc. Huge deck with nice views of the woods. Kitchen had everything you needed. Internet was fast enough for streaming. Comfortable quality furniture.

Cozy Comfortable Cabin

Excellent cabin with a lot of space to stretch out, very private and well-appointed. A great place to escape for a few days. Wonderful hosts!

Amazing vacation getaway!

Wonderful way to get away! It was quiet and clean! Great places to read, play games with family, and enjoy nature. The mountain air was clean. The area around the cabin is absolutely beautiful. The host was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommend for someone who wants to detach and get away from the business of life!!!

Peaceful, Relaxing and Breathtaking...

My husband & I went to celebrate our 29th Wedding Anniversary on November 18th. This cabin was the cleanest, most beautiful place we have ever been to! There wasn't 1 day that we weren't in awe by all the deer and the peacefulness of this place! We will definitely be going back whether just the two of us or with friends and family! They had everything you could think of provided in every room! They even bought us Roses and a card for our anniversary! They did not have to do that, and it was much appreciated! Brought smiles to both our faces! Wonderful place to take in some of God's creations! If I could give 10 stars for every catagory, I would!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

Home was perfect. A perfect stay in the woods. Communications were great, and the host left some snacks and drink. Home was very clean and the area is so peaceful. I would come back again without question.

Amazing Cabin

Spent a long fall weekend at the cabin and didn’t want to leave. The location is perfect for relaxing in the peaceful woods or heading into town for shopping or dinner. The cabin is surrounded by 100 acres of woods and it’s beautiful. All kinds of wildlife to watch while you relax with your morning coffee. The cabin is well appointed and has everything you need for your visit. It’s a hidden gem.

Stunning and secluded

We absolutely loved our stay!! The cabin was beautiful and completely private stuck in the middle of the woods. Everything about the cabin was wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabin at Oak Tree Farm. Dave and Susan were great hosts and the cabin was gorgeous and clean. We plan to return soon!

Best cabin experience ever

Went with wife and friends. Location in the woods was perfect. Cabin was clean and furnished with nearly everything you could imagine, including fresh flowers, snacks, drinks, coffee, soap, shampoo, browsing deer, etc. Owner Dave responded to messages quickly. We plan on coming back.

Beautiful property

Me and my guest had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. They had little snacks and flowers on the table. The host was very respinsive and so nice.before and during our staff. If your looking to get away in the mountains this is the perfect place.

Another great weekend at the cabin

We've returned to the cabin annually since our first visit several years ago. Truly a special place. Dave remains one of the best hosts in the business, and truly has thought of everything. We'll be heading back soon enough.

Home away from home

We always enjoy our stay at the cabin in the woods. We feel at home there and have great communication with the owners. During our last stay we saw deer and a fox on the property. Nature at its best and still close to city amenities!

Thoughtful, clean, lovely!

Such a great stay. Communicative host, clean house, well equipped inside and out! The deck was just as lovely as the inside! So many great amenities. We loved our stay! The only thing that wasn't expected was that you could hear highway noise in the distance from the outside (not inside).

Luxury in the Woods

Truly a luxury cabin off the beaten path, but close to where we needed to be. Hosts were excellent; available in real time if we had any issues. The cabin was modern and up-to-date, with many creature comforts (but the creatures were left outside in the woods). Would most definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Best vacation ever

Gorgeous property. Immaculate house with all of the creature comforts. Quiet and serene. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay to the point we didn’t want to leave. The snacks were most appreciated after a long drive. Just what the doctor ordered!

Beautiful & Cozy Cabin

We've been to many cabins and this by far has been the cleanest & coziest. Dave was super helpful and a great communicator. He answered all the questions I had before I even asked them. Super clean, comfy, and beautiful. My favorite part was the thoughtful touches all around the house. Fresh flowers on the table, snacks for the kiddos and drinks in the fridge. The house had everything we needed, even shampoo and body wash in the showers. Rooms were huge and cozy and I loved the bathrooms. There is a Dollar General Market (fresh food, meat, produce, ect) nearby, so if you need to grab any food, its super close and in town. Will definitely be coming back!

One of our favorites

I think this was maybe our fourth stay; we absolutely love this cabin. It's exactly as pictured and advertised. Host communication is just right; not too much and not too little. The kitchen is well-stocked, not just with pots/pans but water in the fridge, condiment packets, and snacks on the counter. Great little touches like fresh flowers, too!. It's a wonderful romantic escape and would be great for a girls getaway or family trip too.
