Located just 5 miles from Lexington, Virginia, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute and the Virginia Horse Center. Situated in tranquil seclusion on 96 acres of woods, but minutes from Interstates 81 and 64.

Master suite with jacuzzi. Second bedroom with queen bed and private full bath.
Third queen Murphy bed in loft. Living room has large screen cable television and fireplace. High speed internet. Full kitchen. Full laundry.

We do not have a doorbell camera or surveillance at the cabin. We do have a camera at the road entry to the property. This is .6 miles from the cabin.

Beautiful easy drive to the cabin from the main road. The stairs were steep to the loft so we slept in the queen bedroom downstairs. Loved sitting on the porch seeing the deer and listening to the huge chestnut oak acorns dropping. Very nice stay

This is our 2nd time staying and we just love it so much. The cabin has everything you could want for a relaxing stay but is also nicely off the grid for relaxation. We'll definitely be back again.

Wow! What an amazing cabin! We (Mum, Dad & Twin 8 yo girls) really enjoyed our stay here. A great base for exploring Lexington & Rock ridge County. Particular favourites were the Virginia Safari Park and the carriage tour around Lexington. And at the end of the day you could come back to the peace and seclusion of the cabin!BBQs on the deck were the order of the evening along with looking out for bears (none seen), deer (many seen right up close to the cabin, including one right under the deck) and generally appreciating the woods.Cabin has everything you need, good kitchen & well furnished.Would highly recommend

Our family lived this property. It was gorgeous with lots of space for our family of 5. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and baking. Dave and Susan had a lot of nice touches and are excellent hosts. We loved the property and that it was off the beaten path. We would definitely stay here again.

What isn’t there to love! All the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Pillows and throws abound to snuggle in and get cozy with friends and family. The wrap around porch was a delight even in the rain. The special touches (almost hidden) throughout the cabin make it truly a special place to stay.

The cabin was spotless and had extra snacks, drinks, and coffee already on site. Beds were comfortable, and the outdoor setting was peaceful and private. The fresh flowers and anniversary card made it extra special. We will return frequently!

This is our second time visiting this lovely cabin. There is so much we enjoy about staying here—from the beautiful outdoor space, luxurious primary suite, to the convenient area just outside the primary suite where we can relax or get some work done.We love the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The cabin feels peacefully tucked away in the woods, yet it's just a short drive to Lexington for dining, shopping, and exploring.We especially appreciate the thoughtful touches that make every stay feel special. The anniversary card and flowers were such a kind surprise and made us feel truly welcomed and valued as guests.Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful cabin with us. Unbelievable stay. A weekend we will not forget. The place was clean, quiet, peaceful, and Dave was welcoming and more than generous in making us feel at home. We will be back again.

Great place for a quiet weekend away! The place was just as described and felt very cozy and we immediately felt at home. Very comfortable beds and enjoyed eating and relaxing outside. Would definitely return in the future!

Attractions in the local area include: The Virginia Horse Center, Hulls Drive in Movie, antique stores, wine tasting, local shops, carriage rides, canoeing and kayaking, drive thru animal park and zoo, Natural Bridge, hiking, Lime Kiln Theater and a multitude of restaurants.
