We had a great stay at this villa and would definitely recommend it. The views are amazing. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, and the pool was fantastic. It feels peaceful and private, but it's still easy to drive to nearby towns, beaches and supermarkets. The host was brilliant too, with great communication before and during our stay. Overall, it's a lovely place to stay and we'd happily book it again if we return to Mallorca.

We had a really great holiday at El Casals. Amazing views with a lovely pool to cool off in. The house was v spacious and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was very effective. Communication with Xavier was excellent particularly as we ended up coming a day late due to the air traffic control chaos in the UK. I would love to come back to El Casals. You do need a car whilst staying here but Pollensa is only 10 minutes away by car. The directions were also v good. We had no problem finding the house even though it was 1AM when we arrived! Thank you very much Xavier!

A very special place in a mountain setting

We loved being “away from it all” in this gorgeous, historic property. Needed the car to go anywhere as it’s a bit off the beaten track. Fabulous pool, and outdoor dining area and views. Amazing walks and nature. Javier a great host, very helpful and lives in nearby Pollenca.

Remote and beautiful surrounding

Relaxing and joyfull! We loved to sit on the terrace and the atmospere in the old house from 1844 was charming and cool. The pool was small but chill. Every morning we heard the sheeps and goats and that was so lovely. Thanks for the wonderful holiday.

Stunning villa

We had a really lovely week at Els Casals. The villa is gorgeous, full of character, in the most beautiful setting overlooking a valley and mountains. We enjoyed the pool which had some nice shade from an olive tree. The sheep were lovely to hear baa-ing with their clangy bells. So sweet. We loved the town of Pollenca, the port and the beach at Formentor. Xavier was a good host, very welcoming and helpful. We heartily recommend staying here.

Perfect villa, perfect location

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday, the villa had everything we needed, it was remote and secluded with stunning views and still only a 10 minute drive to the local supermarkets and Pollenca town. The kitchen was well equipped we self catered most of the holiday. A couple of the matresses were a little uncomfortable in the twin room but we didnt use these, the other single beds were really comfortable and the master bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced when staying away. We were visted by the donkeys, and the goats with their bells bounding up the road in the evening was a joy to watch. We would love to return. Thank you Javier for such a beautiful house and location.

Stay with no happy end

This charming villa is located in a beautiful natural reserve with amazing views over the valley. We stayed here for two weeks and had a nice time until we got robbed in the house. This whole experience was a huge pity to us because we liked the house but we did not feel safe anymore and had to take our belongings with us all the time.

Regarding your comment about the robbery , we are really sorry on what happened , but it has been a very strange thing , as there were nothing forced to get in the house , not even the police could find any signal of robbery apart from the inside safe locker which seemed to be forced. Great stay in Rustic Farmhouse

Had a lovely stay. Javier was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The house is beautiful and rustic as advertised - if you have small children make sure to take insect repellent for them as well as you as the property is rural therefore of course there are mosquitoes and other bugs and you’ll need it morning and evening espeically. This is true of the whole island of course. You’ll also need to take care outside as there’s no pool cover or gate to block the pool from the rest of the garden and there are “escape” points and drops. Also inside the property there are lots of stairs and steps between rooms. My little one loved it though especially watching the goats and seeing the stars!

Lovely rural farm

The property was in a great location close to Pollenca. The owners were lovely people who made a special effort to ensure we were all ok. They even brought us vegetables from the farm and brought toys for the children to play with in the house and pool. A few things to note if you are travelling with a mixed group: - The wifi is not very fast so you can not stream, download - The air conditioning is not switched on until 9pm, not great if you are there and its very hot - There are stairs going into every room of the house (mainly stone), so again if you are there with the elderly or young children its not ideal - The farm has a resident cat - There are many ants and mosquitos in the summer months, so go prepared with deet!

Breathtaking views!

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible space. The location is perfect, placed high up on a hill overlooking a valley with farms and other residences. Waking in the early morning to the sounds of the clinking cow bells (I think they were in goats, however) and watching the sun rise, casting its glow over the mountains on the other side of the valley will be missed! We reside in Boulder, Colorado, and are no stranger to gorgeous views, but this was breathtaking. The home is a very large, old structure, that allowed my imagination to roam about, to a time that seemed simpler, and perhaps less complicated. The entire family fell in love with the house and it’s grounds right away. Everything that we needed was present, and when the house needed a minor repair, the manager attended to it promptly, and was very quick with communication. I recommend this beautiful space to any hopeless romantic wanting to experience a more authentic view of the local life in Majorca!

Great house with fantastic views

We stayed at Els Casals for two weeks in july with two families with kids. We had a great time swimming in the pool and have dinner at the terras. A small road from the main road from Pollenca to Lluc leads up to the house. The house has fantastic views from the pool and terras. The house itself is comfortable and is equiped with almost everything you need. It stays relatively cool during the hottest hours of the day. The bedrooms stay cool at night with airco which start automatically at around 10 PM. Javier is a good host. We were well received by him and he came by the house on a number of occasions. We didn't need his assitance during the stay but he is there to help you out and give tips. From the house it is only 6 minutes drive to Pollenca which is a nice little town. Not overly touristic, but enough to have nice little shops and good restaurants. The beaches in Mallorca are very busy in July. The best and quietest beaches we visited was Cala Mesquida (1 hour drive near Arta) and Cala Tuent (pebble beach, 45 minutes). Othe beaches nearby are Cala Formentor and the beach of Port de Pollenca. The are crowded but nice. Also for cycling the house is a good starting point. The Col de Femenia starts at the house and the Sa Calobra, Puig Major and all climbs in the northern part of the serra the Tramuntana are within reach. All in all we had a great holiday and can certainly recommend the house.

A beautiful farmhouse in a picturesque setting

We cannot recommend this property highly enough! From the first email exchange, Guillermo took every care to answer our queries so that the whole booking process was hassle-free. On arrival, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of Els Casals- a slice of paradise in the mountains of Mallorca complete with mountain goats, olive/lemon trees and sheep; 5 minutes drive from Pollensa (and all its amenities) yet elevated enough to enjoy the complete silence of the hills and countryside. The house was authentically Spanish, yet it provided every facility we could have wished for. (air conditioning, clean pool with an unbeatable view, BBQ, weekly linen change etc) Javier called in every other day to check whether we needed anything and advise us where to visit- beaches, restaurants etc. We truly hope we can return to this special place one day. un petit coin de paradis

Arrivée par un chemin (très) chaotique, la maison est une "finca" réaménagée, décorée sobrement, située à flan de montagne, au milieu des oliviers centenaires.Le calme est seulement rompu, le jour, par le chant des cigales, le soir, par quelques bêlements de chèvres sauvages.Un environnement magique pour se ressourcer devant un panorama montagneux magnifique. La maison est très propre, et le service (linge de maison, entretien piscine) très bon Nous avons également apprécié la gentillesse et l'efficacité du gardien. Au niveau confort, il nous semble qu'une bonne isolation thermique des pièces du premier étage, rendrait la situation plus agréable. Côté cuisine, nous aurions apprécié quelques ustensiles tels que: presse agrumes, auto cuiseur,saladiers...plancha Dans l'ensemble ces journées passées à Els Casals ont été mémorables , et nous recommanderons volontiers la propriété si l'occasion se présente

Nice and relaxing views

We had a very nice stay in Casals. This is such a lovely house set in an ideal spot, with views of the mountains all around you. The property was a very nice host. The kids really enjoyed the pool and we had nice meals in the garden with all the family. We are definitely going to stay there again sometime. Simply a wonderful place!

We stayed here with 5 adults and 2 children. It is just wonderful and quiet. The view over the hills is astonishing. Javier is a very nice person and it is really important to him, that everything is alright. We will definitely come back.

FANTASTICAS VACACIONES EN UN SITIO IDEAL

situación fantástica , en una finca maravillosa enclavada en la sierra de tramontana mallorquina. El servicio por parte del propietario fue excelente, y voy a recomendar la finca a todos mis amigos para que vayan. Yo volveré con mi familia el año próximo. Sitio muy tranquilo. En lo que respecta a la casa, tiene un encanto especial , contando con dos plantas. En el jardín se puede disfrutar de la terraza para comer y cenar en un entorno de tranquilidad y relax. Allí pudimos ver naturaleza en estado puro, tanto fauna ya que pudimos ver ovejas, cabra mallorquina, etc. como unas vistas fantásticas, Todo ello dentro de la sierra de Tramontana. También la finca está cerca de Pollensa donde se puede disfrutar de la variada oferta cultural y gastronómica y de playas muy bonitas como cala San Vicente y Puerto Pollensa. Para los niños es un sitio ideal, ya que pueden jugar en el jardín y disfrutar de paseos y hacer senderismo con los mayores.

Ein altes Haus in dem alles sehr gepflegt wirkte. Javier war für jede unsere Fragen direkt erreichbar und hat uns immer weiterhelfen können.Poolbereich mit toller Aussicht, neuwertigen Liegen und Sonnenschirm - haben wir in Mietobjekten auch schon anders erlebt.Wir hatten eine super Zeit und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke!---Una casa vieja en la que todo parecía estar muy bien cuidado.Javier estaba siempre disponible para responder a todas nuestras preguntas y siempre nos ha ayudado.La zona de la piscina tiene unas vistas estupendas, tumbonas y sombrillas como nuevas; hemos visto otras situaciones muy diferentes en alojamientos de alquiler.Lo hemos pasado genial y volveríamos sin dudarlo. ¡Gracias!
