Thank you for your review. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the location and the apartment’s charm. To be clear all windows in the apartment can be opened for ventilation. The entry stairwell is outside of the property and not within our control, but we do encourage guests to take care when using it. Our contact number is provided in case of any issues during your stay; messages sent after 5 pm are not picked up until the following day, so for urgent matters during these hours, we recommend calling us directly. We hope future guests can see that the apartment is accurately described in the listing and provides a comfortable base for exploring Edinburgh.

Unfortunately maintenance and upkeep of the building is outwith our control - we will forward your comments onto the Factor company for the building and ask them to make any necessary improvements.
