Why stay in a room when you can have the whole house? Cute one bedroom cottage with queen bed plus queen sofa sleeper in living room (sleeps four total). Equipped kitchen & laundry room. Off street parking & shaded yard that often has horses in the field behind. Spend evenings relaxing around the fire pit or strolling down Main Street two blocks away. The Creation Museum is 30 mi North & Kentucky Horse Park 30 mi South. Cincinnati to the North/ Lexington South.

Very cute cottage

The cottage was lovely and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Our only issues were with the weather which no one could help and we had problems with the TV but Allen worked hard to correct that

Perfect getaway!

We loved the decorations of the cottage, it felt soo cozy, we didn’t want to leave! It was very clean & the perfect place to stay at while we went to the creation museum and Ark encounter! Can’t wait to come back again in the future.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We stayed 5 days going to The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum and Little White Cottage was perfect to come back to. Cottage has everything you need and more, bed was comfortable and place was cleaned well. Would recommend and we would stay again if we return.

No complaints. Recommendation would be a small coffee table in front of sofa. No place to put a glass or cup. Just a little awkward.

Wonderful little house!

Wonderful little house! Comfortable, quiet, nice back porch, great hospitality. Loved the little things that the host does to make you feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What we needed and more.

We did not find anything lacking. The house was clean and overall comfortable. The view was lovely and peaceful The less than excellent score is because of the following points. The house is a little on a curve so not remote. I missed where the list of closing up was (on the fridge) but that was because I never used it. We did use the tv more than we normally do and sat in the couch for some time. It was not comfortable. Too soft. The bed mattress was also very soft and bouncy. And we are firm mattress sleepers. Overall stay I would do it again.

Great stay

Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Loved having my breakfast on the back porch watching the squirrel run from tree to tree. Had a visit from the calico cat and heard the horses in the distance. Very close to Ark Encounter which is why we had planned our stay there.

Excellent place to stay

This cottage reminded me of my childhood home. It was clean and very nicely decorated. Outdoor area was cute and the cat was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend for a couple or a small family.

Kentucky Charm

Nice small charming home that had everything needed to enjoy our trip to the state of Kentucky. Loved the country setting, sitting on the back deck viewing the horses next door among the rolling hills. The home had many little extra touches and memorabilia to appreciate as well. It was obvious that the hosts wanted us to have an enjoyable stay.

The Little Cottage

Allan and Tammy are wonderful host. We loved our few days we spent at The Little Cottage. Everything is clean, neat, and is in a nice and quiet area. We would definitely stay again if we return to this area.

Our Kentucky Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at "The Little White Cottage"! We enjoyed the little cat that comes by. We wish we had known her name. We got her some food. We never saw any horses at the fence, but we enjoyed the cottage. Only bad thing we have to say is the air conditioning needs to be upgraded.

Quiet and secluded

Very nice quiet and secluded cottage. Loved everything about it, except the cat. We boarded our pet, Kalley because "no pets allowed" and ended up having to deal with the cat wanting food and trying its best to try to get inside the house every time we went through the back door.

Cozy retreat

This cottage is extremely clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would ever need! It offers a beautiful back deck with a lovely countryside view. It is just minutes from downtown and the Ark Adventure. Hosts live just across the street and greeted us upon arrival. We had a wonderful two night stay here and would highly recommend this location!

Nice option on a budget

We visited the little cottage in June, the weekend before father's day. I knew the space would be small, but that is what i was looking for, a cozy intimate space for a short, weekend excursion. Clean little house, maybe 800' ft. Cozy. No central A/C, window unit in living room. That causes a slight dampness on the furniture. And, if you're taller than 6', watch your head going into the bathroom. Other than the window unit and small bathroom entrance, everything else was exactly as expected. Having said that, the window unit kept the cottage cool enough and the bed slept well.

We discovered guest houses (vacation rentals) when we went out of town after trying bed-and-breakfasts & before that motels. We found them to be more comfortable with more space and more relaxing. We have lived in this neighborhood with the cottage for over 25 years now and enjoy the rural feel while still being in town.

We don't want to be the busiest by being the least expensive. We do want to offer the cleanest and most relaxing accommodations available in our area. We also tried to put everything you may need in the cottage, so you don't have to worry about anything....except relaxing.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

You can cook meals in the kitchen. you can do laundry if you need to. You can roast wieners and marshmallows over the open fire pit while you are watching the horses come right up to the fence. Or you can just sit on the deck and enjoy the birds and squirrels and all of Gods glory!
